The best experience with perfect guide
Everything was wonderful. We got so close to all the animals, the gorillas were wonderful, the chimpanzees, when they came down from the trees and just laid near by was amazing. You can truly see the similarities between humans and apes. Thank you, Wild Uganda, for giving us the best private guide who loves his country.

The perfect trip to Africa with Wild Uganda
I didn't expect too much from our trip to Uganda but my family and I were very suprised by its beauty, how green it was and just how close you can come to wild animals here. It was peaceful and not touristy like Kenya and other safari destinations we have been to before. Our guide at Wild Uganda was incredible and we would love to come back again to travel different part of Uganda. We did a 7 day tour, Queen Elizabeth NP game drive, Kazinga Channel boat, Chimpanzee trekking and Gorilla trekking. The highlight of the trip was definately the guide who was truly incredible.

I really enjoyed my trip, I didn't know much about Uganda but now its one of my favourite places on earth. We just completed our 4-day, 3-night journey with Wild Uganda, exploring both the savannah and the rainforest. The experience was truly unforgettable—we were fortunate to see the Big Five, track chimpanzees, and enjoy a guided walking tour with rhinos up close.
Our guide and driver, Kasim, was outstanding. His driving was excellent, and he was consistently knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the trip.
The entire booking process and communication with the company were also smooth and efficient, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish.

Amazing experience with the best guide Shafik Topkins
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trip. From the beginning, everything felt well organized, and Shafik made the experience smooth, safe, and genuinely enjoyable.
Guide Derrick Wadria made the trip perfect
I traveled for 10 days mostly through Uganda, finishing in Rwanda by myself with Derrick my driver/guide. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for me & really made the trip 5 stars, request him if you can!
The accommodation along the way was great, the meals huge & my two favorite activities were Murchison Falls (at the top) & Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, both must dos in my humble opinion. Everyone else I really enjoyed too but they were the stand outs.
There is a lot of driving & the roads can be rough so be prepared for that.
I had 100% confidence in Derrick’s driving & he fixed the truck a couple times himself so he’s the perfect driver to have in so many ways!

Great private tour
I had a very good experience with Wild Uganda overall. Communication before the tour was fast and smooth, which made planning easy and stress-free. The tour itself was also very flexible and could be easily adapted to our personal needs and preferences, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The safari vehicle was comfortable and in great condition, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. Gorilla trekking and seeing the tree-climbing lions were definitely the highlights of the safari.
This was my fifth safari trip in Africa, and I still found the experience highly enjoyable and well-organized.
The only area for improvement would be the communication during the tour itself, which could have been a bit clearer at times regarding schedules and plans. Nevertheless, the overall experience was excellent, and I would still recommend Wild Uganda to anyone planning a safari in Uganda.

Amazing!
What an amazing trip from beginning to end. Linus went out of his way to make sure that I was happy and safe - nothing was too much for him. He was punctual, polite, kind and funny! He was also very knowledgeable about the different animals. My favorite accommodation was at Ziwa - absolutely beautiful luxury tent - they thought of everything! I loved the rhino trekking and getting so close to them was amazing! The chimpanzee trekking was very cool! It rained on us but that didn’t stop us from being able to see the chimps swinging from the trees. Also the boat ride through the swamp was so beautiful and peaceful and we did see a Shoebill! I would highly recommend Wild Uganda!
