Resourceful and Charismatic
Amazing, AMAZING tour! We almost went with another tour company at first, and am so happy we didn’t! The other cost almost exactly the same, and had less experiences!
Wild Uganda was wonderful all around, and the people were all just lovely to work with! We enjoyed all the hotels we stayed at, and all the activities we had and how our drive time was broken up as well. The highlight of the tour was our guide Derrick, he made everything happen and everything possible! One of our bags never made it, and Derrick was so nice to stop off and help us negotiate clothing prices with local vendors! He also had someone go to the airport and check for the bag multiple times. I had purchased some souvenirs from the trip, couldn’t find another bubble wrap, and somehow Derrick found someone with bubble wrap who delivered it to me all the way from Kampala! Derrick went above and beyond and this tour would have honestly been nothing without him! Everyone in my group felt very bonded to Derrick and we talked about how much we missed him as soon as we all parted ways. I would absolutely tour with wild Uganda again, and especially Derrick!

An experience of a lifetime in the Pearl of Africa
We spent the first week of February traveling around Uganda with each day bringing countless new sceneries and experiences. Our trip was excellently organized allowing us to cover a lot of ground over a period of 8 days, without having to skip a single meal. Every day, the breakfast, lunch and dinner were a pleasant experience with great food in between the beautiful sights. The staff in all the places we stayed at were very helpful and warm and the quality of the accommodations was excellent. We particularly enjoyed how they combined designs that blended with nature while having every facility you need.
I celebrated my 30th birthday while at Murchison Falls with a surprise birthday cake and singing that warmed my heart! Leaving my 20s was hard but entering the new decade in this setting is something I will never forget!
On top of everything, the communication with Wild Uganda worked seamlessly and they created an amazing plan for us that accommodated both wildlife experiences as well as personal requests. My boyfriend, Ricardo, lived in Uganda as a child and he wanted to visit some personal spots including his old school in Kampala and we were glad that it was possible to do this on top of all the other destinations and plans we had. Even our last day was filled with adventure with a boat excursion in search of the shoebill. All this, without feeling stressed or rushed at any moment.
One of the highlights in our tour was the Chimpanzee trekking with very competent guides and rangers that allowed us to see Chimpanzees both in the trees and on the ground. The guide also explained and educated us about the chimpanzees while we observed them. The rangers were very attentive and frequently alerted us where not to stand so that a fruit won΄t fall on your head as well as pointing out good photography opportunities. Being able to observe our closest relative was something very moving that I feel very fortunate to have experienced.
We are especially thankful to our guide Linus who was always on top of things when coordinating with the lodges and all the different parties involved. He gave us the feeling that we never had anything to worry about, any issue that arose during our travels was quickly solved.
His skills allowed us to see and identify many animals, especially at Murchison Falls, where our encounter with a leopard was spectacular. He was also a great font of knowledge and we learnt through him about Uganda’s culture, society, history, traditions and more. Most impressively, he could identify more birds than we knew what to do with. Ricardo made an incomplete list with many of the birds Linus pointed out.
All in all we want to thank Wild Uganda and Linus for making our trip an unforgettable experience! We are looking forward to be back to Uganda for more! Totally recommend Wild Uganda and Linus if you want to experience all the gems in the Pearl of Africa and beyond!

Professionalism, dedication, competence, and efficiency.
We decided to change our holiday destination three days before the scheduled departure date. Wild Uganda was our salvation. With unparalleled professionalism and precision, as well as remarkable speed and flexibility, they managed to organize an 11-day safari trip to Kenya. They turned an unexpected situation into one of the best trips of my life. They were attentive to the time needed in each park, carefully selecting competent guides.
I had a unique experience, which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to turn a dream into reality. All it takes is an email or a message to Ernesto, who transforms imagination into reality.
Without a doubt, an experience to repeat. Thank you for everything!

Amazing 10 Days Best of Uganda! - Fantastic experience with Wild Uganda and Allaine
Our 10 Days Best of Uganda Tour truly showed us why Uganda is called the “Pearl of Africa.” The diversity of experiences within a relatively short time made the trip feel very complete.
The wildlife we experienced throughout the trip was incredibly abundant. A major highlight, and one of the main reasons for our journey, was the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking, which was truly unforgettable. In addition, we saw leopard cubs, a baby rhino, lions (including a tree-climbing lion during a hunt), and much more – these are only a few examples of what we encountered on a daily basis. One fun highlight was that we managed to see the Big Five in under 24 hours. The boat cruises on the Nile and along the Kazinga Channel were also particularly impressive.
Beyond the animals, the cultural side of the trip was just as memorable. We visited a local cinema, did a gin tasting, learned about local coffee and vanilla farming, and even had the chance to play football with a group of kids in a village. These experiences made the trip feel very authentic and personal.
Allaine was an excellent guide – very knowledgeable, attentive, and also great fun to be around. His sense of humor and the balance he found between engaging with us and giving us time on our own made a real difference throughout the trip.
The accommodations were well chosen, with welcoming staff and good food – perfect for relaxing after active days.
Communication with the tour operator was smooth and reliable from the very beginning. The planning process was straightforward, and all questions were answered quickly and clearly.
Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend. We would definitely travel again with Wild Uganda and especially with Allaine as a guide.

The Wild Uganda experience was far beyond expectation
As a fairly experienced safari traveller (Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa), this was my first visit to Uganda. I booked my vacation directly at Wild Uganda. I was charmed by its reviews and the very good value for money in comparison with other operators. There were quite some extra wishes to the standard 10 days offer such as an extra day and different lodges. Communication was very easy and fast via WhatsApp; I also had a very nice video conversation with Ernest. He was very friendly, helpful, flexible and fulfilled all our extra wishes.
Then the journey itself: as said we made several Safaris before in other countries and I must say this one was the most diverse. We did a lot of game drives in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo and saw a lot of wild life: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and so on. On top of that we had walking safaris at Ziwa (rhino 's), Kibale (chimps), Bwindi (gorillas) and Lake Mburo (giraffe, zebra etc). We also had boat trips at Lake Victoria (shoebills), Murchison Falls, Kazinga Channel and Lake Bunyonyi. Along the way we visited local communities such as a coffee farm, vanilla plantation, banana beer brewery and primary school. The Ugandese people are very warm and hospitable and real ambassadors for their country. Although it is hard to make a ranking in all of our activities, I must highlight the gorilla track since before booking we were in doubt whether we wanted to spend relatively much money on this tour. I must say it was stunning and worth every penny!
Accommodations were very nice, especially for its locations, welcoming staff and good meals. See reviews on Google maps to get an impression of what to expect. I read some rare negative stories of the lodges we visited, but the only thing I can say is that these are mainly based on unreasonable standards or expectations and ours are solely positive.
Most of all I'd like to mention our guide Allanie, who did a wonderful job at accommodating and establishing this breath taking experience! We had an informal daily briefing and everything was fitted to our wishes. He provided very useful information and extra stops at places of our interest.
If you have the opportunity, I would certainly recommend to book for 10+ days. This will give you the chance to relax every now and then and process all the experiences.
Im short, whenever I return to Uganda I will definitely book at this organisation again and can recommend anyone to do so as well.

A Well-Planned Adventure with Safety and Comfort
We had the great pleasure of touring with Wild Uganda last month. As this was my first trip to Africa, I was admittedly a bit skeptical at first, but the Wild Uganda team made it a truly wonderful experience.
I would especially like to highlight Mr Matiya, who was our guide throughout the journey. His knowledge of wildlife, the local areas, and even the roads was exceptional. He also had a great sense of humor ☺️and also no matter how late we returned the previous night, the vehicle was always neat, tidy and ready on-time for the next day's adventure.
On the other hand Mr Shafik, such a wonderful person, no matter how late we finished the previous day, he would always show up the next morning full of energy and enthusiasm, greeting everyone in the group with a smile 🤓. His positive attitude helped set the tone for each day of the trip.
Together, they made this a memorable and stress free trip. We never had to worry about anything throughout the journey, as everything was handled professionally and with genuine care.
Matiya and Shafik are real assets to the company, and they deserve great recognition for the outstanding experience they provided. Kudos to both of them and the team 🫡.

The safari tour exceeded our expectations.
The walking, trekking and driving tours were amazing. Trekking with the gorillas and walking with giraffes was the highlight of the trip. The Uganda’s were very kind and hospitable and our tour guide Andrew was knowledgeable about the culture and animals.

Reliable, trustworthy, flexible, supportive and caring.
I have chosen Wild Uganda because I liked the program they offered and asked them to extend it to more days. The communication with Ernest was excellent since the very beginning. Flight operator changed our plans, even twice, flight was postponed by one day, and it was not a problem for Wild Uganda to adjust our programe accordingly. Ernest was extremely helpful throughout the whole time and always on what’s up. Then we met our guide Kasim, an excellent young man who made our trip to Uganda unforgettable. We traveled together for 16 days, enjoyed every single minute, laughed a lot, got to know many new information, seen magnificent gorillas, and so many other animals on our game drives and wonderful walking safaris as well as incredible nature and people. It was a wonderful trip we never forget. Wild Uganda is top.
