Responsive team available at a reasonable price
We booked 6 day trip visiting Amboseli NP, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara via Image Travels ltd. Team was super responsive to every query I had before the trip started.
During the trip, everything was planned by Image travel team. Our guide, Edwin was extremely knowledgeable & friendly, while he also knew when and where to spot the big five. He helped me plan the proposal while also capturing the moment.
Image travels provided us with great hotel & travel options as per our budget and can't praise enough the hospitality we enjoyed at every place we visited. Though i believe for scope of improvement in Food and room service being provided at Mara Serena Safari lodge.
Also , i request team to arrange for better lunch in transit.
Highly recommend Image travels for the safari experience.

Exceptional Service and Support from Mwanje at Image Travel Limited
My experience with Mwanje from Image Travel Limited in Nairobi has been nothing short of outstanding. From the initial communication stages to post-booking follow-ups, Mwanje's professionalism and efficiency have been remarkable.
Mwanje provided us with an excellent driver-cum-guide, Anthony, and a well-equipped 4x4 Land Cruiser Safari vehicle, complete with a wireless set essential for tracking animal sightings in the national park. This thoughtful inclusion significantly enhanced our safari experience.
I was particularly impressed with how Mwanje handled an unforeseen circumstance on my end. Due to a family emergency, I had to cancel my trip just 10 days before the scheduled departure. Mwanje managed this situation with great empathy and efficiency. He not only eased the cancellation process but also swiftly organized a rescheduled trip without any hassle.

Professional, flexible, customer centered service.
Kenya offers a diverse wildllife experience, the scenery was fabulous in all 4 locations we visited (Samburu, Mt. Kenya, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara). The accomodation and the food were very satisfaying, the service everywhere was excellent.
We were particularly lucky to have a fabulous guide and driver (Ben) who made us enjoy our trip beyond our expectations!

Unforgettable excellent 8-day customized safari tour in Kenya
Overall: It was a private tour and Image Travel fulfilled all our requirements in accomendation, while some other providers indicated that the hotel we selected was not available.
Guide: Our guide John Waithiru led us to all the Big 5 and showed us all the animals we wanted to see. Even though I don't know much about photography, we still got many great shots and videos. John is also the best driver I have ever met. The road was so bumpy and he could always manage it. Many times we have seen other vehicles get stuck but John drives through always unimpeded. The journey from the Masai Mara to the Nairobi airport on the last day was 6 hours long, with poor roads and traffic jams, but John managed to help get there early. Even had time to take us to a great shopping mall in Nairobi where we got everything we wanted to buy and then arrived at the airport on time.
Communications: Quick feedback and provide us with hotel booking faster than others.
Reliability: Overall, the trip went very well. Except for some hiccups on the first day when arriving at the airport to pay for the trip, as they would not accept dollars printed before 2006 without notifying us in advance, wasting an hour of our time. As well as some delays in entering some of the national parks because the company did not purchase tickets in advance. We would have been more satisfied if the company had coordinated and planned better for the collection of tickets and cash.

Excellent safari, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara
We enjoyed a wonderful safari in Kenya booked with Image travel. I initially communicated with Mwanje who provided a detailed itinerary with costs. The communication was good with quick responses via WhatsApp and email.
Our driver David worked hard throughout our Safari and was with us throughout. He was an excellent driver and guide who navigated the roads effectively, which due to the recent rains were quite difficult and involved long journeys. David drove us to all the Safari parks where he spotted lots of animals and we saw the big five including a leopard cub in the Masai Mara!!
David managed to get us back to Nairobi airport from Masai Mara on time for our flight to Diani beach 😀
All three of the lodges we stayed in were excellent and in great locations to see all the animals.
I would probably recommend doing a fly and drive Safari to save the long car journeys.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Safari and recommend Image Travel. We took home wonderful memories of seeing all the animals in their natural environments.

Terrible experience with Image Travel
We had a very bad experience with this Travel Operator and we highly recommend you not to make the same mistake. Just to name a couple of examples:
- Program was changed last minute and we were not informed until the first day
- Pick up from hotel/ airport were often late (sometimes even by 1 hour) and with bad quality vehicles
- Instead of 3 tents for 5 people as per program payed, in 2 of the accommodation they only provided 2 room
- The refund promised for the mistake has never been effectively sent

Wonderful tour - highly recommend!
My wife and I booked a 6-day private safari and had a great experience with Image Travel. Our tour guide John made our trip very enjoyable, and we highly recommend him!
We visited Amboseli (2 nights), Nakuru (1 night), and Masai Mara (2 nights). This felt like the perfect length. Each park has its own highlights. Our favorites were the many elephants (including baby ones) in Amboseli, the rhinos in Nakuru, and then seeing lions, cheetahs, and leopards up-close in Masai Mara. We also did a 1 hour optional boat ride in Naivasha, which was unique and relaxing.
John was an incredible tour guide and made sure we saw all the animals. He spotted several animals other tour guides didn’t see and enabled us to get up close to lions and leopards. John was familiar with all the parks and found the best driving routes and viewing angles. We were able to see elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and many more.
Picking good lodging is very important, as you eat all meals at the resort. We stayed at higher-end places such as Serena and Sarova and were thankful we did so. Rooms were clean, service was friendly, and having on-site animals was fun as well. Some of the walls are a bit thin, but we thought that was okay.
Pickup/dropped from/to the Nairobi airport was prompt and easy. We traveled in a minibus. Some roads in Kenya were fairly bumpy, but that’s to be expected - we took non-drowsy Dramamine to avoid motion sickness and didn’t have any issues. John was a great driver and safely maneuvered us through traffic jams and detours. It can get stuffy in the car, and we used our hand/neck fans quite a bit. John was friendly and knowledgeable, teaching us about Kenya, animals, and even his music.
Our only regret was not packing binoculars, as a few times animals were a bit further away and we couldn’t get the best view. Overall we had a wonderful trip and will be recommending Image Travel and John to anyone going on a Kenya safari.
