Professional and Well Organized Tour Company in Kenya, Highly Recommended
I reached out by email to African Skimmer Safaris. Nick responded to my email within 24 hours of it being sent. I explained that I was a photographer and which parks I wanted to visit. We talked about the number of days and my budget. He then sent me a customized itinerary based on what animals I wanted to see and photograph, my budget and number of days. I was able to communicate all of this through email.
I was met by the driver/guide at the Nairobi airport and driven to my hotel for the night. My driver/guide was with me until I was safely dropped off at the Nairobi airport at the end of my safari.
Everyday my driver/guide did his best to find the animals that I really wanted to see and photograph. From day one there wasn’t a single game drive that we didn’t find amazing animal sighting. Some game drives were more successful than others, but it’s good to remember that no animal sightings are guaranteed, but my driver/guide did his best to find the animals that I wanted to see. My driver/guide talked to other drivers to get information about animal sighting, locations, etc. He was not only great at finding animal sighting he was also very informative about local flora and fauna, and the history of Kenya. He answered all my questions during the safari. Nick, in the office, always kept in contact with the driver/guide throughout my entire safari to make sure there were no problems.
I highly recommend African Skimmer Safaris as your local tour operator in Kenya. Nick is fluent in English and communication is never an issue. Nick listened to my requirements, budget and planned an itinerary with options of my choosing.

Extremely knowledgable about culture and wildlife
The guide was excellent. African Skimmer provided a suggested itinerary and a couple possibilities on lodging for each location, which was helpful. Ultimately we used Trip Advisor to pick from the options and that worked well. But, overall, the guide is really important and African Skimmer was outstanding here.

Amazing experience! Planning to go back next year!!
I really loved my experience with African Skimmers! They were always on time with all our planned activities and that meant that we had enough time to enjoy our safari and accomplish all we had planned for the day. The highlight of our trip was getting to see the big five which was absolutely breathtaking!! I would highly recommend this company because they made my experience extra special.

The most amazing experience ever!
My travel to and stay at the Amboseli Kibo camp was a five star experience. The communication was on point, accomodation tip top and transport to and fro were world class. A detailed itinerary provided with follow-up with confirmations. Flexibilty to accomodate my needs and preferences. The safari tour as a whole was out of this world, and it showcased The Amboseli and the country's culture in the best light possible. While I was satisfied with the experience, I was at the same time left yearning to come back for a repeat which I definitely will.

Wonderful safari in a private vehicle at good price
I did the safari when I known little about Kenya. But I only needed to give expectation and timing then they shorly designed the great program.
