Amazing!!! Nick is very knowledgeable, always scouting for animals, excellent driver.
This was a trip of a lifetime. My husband and I celebrated our 45 th anniversary with Nick and our new friends. We asked to see lions, and Nick found them. Watched the elephants take morning walk in front of Mt Kilamojaro. So incredibly close to all the wild animals in their natural habitats. We would definitely do this trip again!!!

Professional tour operator with a lot of knowledge of wild life and open mindset..
In april 2026 we (group of three) went on an 10day safari trip to Masai Mara (4day inside) and lake Nakura (4day) with African Skimmer. Our guide Nick was amazing, he is an expert in spotting wild life. Besides spotting the big wild life, Nick has an expert eye for smaller animals and birds. For us, it was a huge added value that bird watching was also part off the safaris. When a bird is flying in front of the car Nick directly knows what it is. When we were traveling for a place to another place, Nick told us a lot of stuff from cultural facts to nature facts to background differences. Nick has a very chill mindset and the communication is very clear. You notice that Nick has a lot of experience in the field, that gives a really safe feeling. Nick gives estimate time scales that are always right. Thanks Nick, we enjoyed it really much. 100% sure that we would go on another trip with Nick.

Amazing tour operator, we did 10 days trip woth African Skimmer and visited multiple parks.
We (group of 3) traveled with the kind Nick from African Skimmer for 10 days. The jeep was clean, good and comfortable. It was a so good organised and big plus, because Nick knows everything about birds. On top of that, thanks to our guide we have learned and seen so much nature and amazing places. The trip to masai mara, nakuru and elementaita was smooth, and Nick was alsways thinking along and making the trip the best experience

Nick was a perfect guide for us. He knew very much of the wildlife and birds.
We booked a 9 days tour, started in Nairobi, and we loved it. We were lucky to be in Masai Mara during low season. Very beautiful out there with morning and evening games. There were not to many other jeeps driving around. We also visited Nakuru lake and Elementaita because of the pelicans and flamingos. In the jeep was always water available.
We were very pleased the way Nick drove us around and his knowledge of nature, animals and birds.

We had a transfer between de coast and Tsavo west, and made a game drive in Tsavo East on the way. We had a good and relieable driver, a good car and everything was on time

Amazing Nature Treasures
As 2 female solo travellers, we felt very safe and were so well taken care off by Duncan our guide, it made it a most amazing and fantastic trip. We felt like royalty and saw the most amazing wildlife! Great accommodation and all very well arranged allowing smooth sailing. Definitely recommend!!

Peter and Charles - top-drivers!
We visited Kenya with the Jins, our scout group from 50 years ago! Hugo and Shiku invited us to their home nearby Nairobi.
A once-in-a-lifetime-experience!
Peter, the driver of African Skimmer Safaris, was always on time to pick us up with the minibus. He brought us to a different beautiful place every day, to the Longonot mountains, to Lake Naivasha, tot Hell's Gate, Crater lake, Karen and so on...
And of course to the city, to a mall, to a restaurant,... Even in the evening! Always very friendly, helpful and a super good driver!

Thanks also to Charles who drove us with his jeep through National Park of Nairobi. He brought us to the right places to see the most beautiful wildlife. And even took the time to drive us to a special viewpoint... What an adventure, what a good driver...!
