Day 1

You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi for an exciting full-day hike along Mount Kilimanjaro’s scenic Shira Route. Starting at Londorossi Gate (2,250m), you'll trek through lush rainforest to Shira 1 Camp (3,505m), where you'll enjoy a packed lunch with views of the vast Shira Plateau.

If time allows, continue to Shira Cathedral for panoramic vistas before descending back to the gate. After the hike, you’ll be transferred comfortably back to your accommodation, concluding a rewarding day on Africa’s highest mountain.
