Depart from Nairobi in the morning and journey south towards Amboseli National Park, passing through changing landscapes and local towns along the way.
Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, check-in, and a short rest before setting out on your first afternoon game drive in the park. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
During the game drive, keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and, with some luck, predators such as lions and cheetahs.
As the sun begins to set over the savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
