Uganda is an amazing place to view wildlife. In 5 days, I saw everything - chimps, gorillas, lions (and cubs), hippos, hyena, water buffalo, antelope, elephants, and tons of birds. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and I felt completely safe with my guides... It is an incredible value - not nearly as expensive as other trips I researched.

Uganda was one of our favorite countries of 9 Eastern & Southern Afrcian countries visited. Wildlife was not as prolific as some other destinations, but still plentiful and of course offers the chance to visit the mountain gorillas! The people are very friendly, scenery is stunning, roads are decent, attractions are affordable and the country felt progressive and not corrupt! And the birds, I almost forgot the birds, best in Africa...and that's saying a lot!

The people are wonderful- warm and kind. The scenery is beautiful. The gorillas are amazing ! I would love to come back to visit all the other parks.
Great safari experience
Our safari in Selous national park was very professional from start to end, Ndamungu very responsive . They picked us up from the hotel on time and the safari followed the agreed pattern. Our guide,Ernest, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He knew where to look for the various animals, had great vision to spot them, went off-road when needed to, great driving and fantastic spirit, funny and friendly all the way through our 3-days,it is very joyful for me never had that before.

We went at the end of the rainy season and while we saw big game we might have seen more if we had gone during the dry season which forces the animals to the larger watering holes making them easier to view. But we loved the country - people are warm and welcoming, very polite. Uganda truly is "the pearl of Africa ",

Fell in love with Uganda
Yes, we had a great time in Uganda. The whole experience from start to finish was really great. The guide, was great. Nothing was too much trouble and we didn’t have any problems along the way. When we wanted to change our rafting trip, get a refund and book extra accommodation, this was sorted out no worries. He gave us the refund without question and organized our other trip for us It was all very easy. I have never booked travel over the internet before and was a bit worried about what we were going to get. However, the trip exceeded our expectations. Your help in the process was very good as well, our questions were always answered promptly.

Uganda is really called the pearl of Africa. when it comes to weather or climate, it is really better. i had my honey moon in Uganda i went with Dauda as my guide from Augur tours and travel and i had my best honey moon trip and the best experience with Gorillas . need beautiful scenery and wildlife, just go to Kidepo Valley National Park, L. made me glad i was there to experience another life of beauty and authenticity
Our trip was much more than gorilla trekking (which was awesome.) Traveling the roads of Uganda and Rwanda with our guide (Tolbert G), seeing miles of villages, animals and daily life was truly a "spiritual" experience in that life is lived in culture, and US culture is driven much differently. Without American "comforts" and physical abundance, life seems refreshing and honest. I loved it there.
