The people of Tanzania were welcoming, and the country is very scenic !

No doubt Tanzania is a beautiful country. We visited 8 national parks. Tanzania has most animal, bird viewing compared to other countries in Africa. Go to any national park here we can see all animals easily. Ngorogoro crater is absolutely a blissful place. Serengeti had all the animals including big 5 easily seen. But accommodations around parks like mikumi , Ruaha are terrible. The roads are absolutely a nightmare. The road from Ruaha to Mikumi parks took 10 hours long drive. These conditions of the roads discourage tourists. The tour operators are not customer friendly. While the country has abundant animal life in the parks, tourists have very limited decent accommodation around small national parks. Also tourists are not treated the way they are treated in Kenya. Animal viewing is much much better than South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Rwanda. Given opportunity, will definitely choose Ngorogoro and Serengeti over any place in the whole continent.

Many safari destinations, a great variety of parks; from savanna, to montane rain forest. High wildlife densities. Unique animals and chances of observing them.

Tanzania is a haven for parks. While some are more off-the-beaten-track than others, nearly all of them provide unparalleled wildlife viewing activities and stunning scenery.

Mainly very quiet but one or two places are very busy at times.

We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay and we didn't feel particularly crowded by hordes of other people.

Wildlife, the big animals, are almost easy to see. It's not 100% guaranteed, but I think it shouldn't be that way. Tansania is a peaceful country. You don't have to be afraid all the time.

Tanzania is great but I would say it doesn't compare to Botswana or Zambia which offers more variety and exclusivity...however Botswana and Zambia seem more expensive.

Tanzania has much wildlife in parks which are not so crowded visited. For that you need a good gide to bing you near the animals. We had an excellent guide. The known parks are to expensive and there are to many tourist being there. In Mikumi it is cheaper and there are a few tourists and you can see all the game (except the rinoceros.
