Disappointing
Then came the worst !!! We went in our car without repairing to the Lodge and soon to travel to the North Serengeti.
The guide drove like crazy, we saw several animals on the way, including a rhinoceros a few feet from our car, but he did not stop and said we would see lots of animals in Northern Serengeti in the following days !!! And got lost because he did not know the place !!! For five hours we were driving in circles and the guide didn't want to admit that he was lost. him to ask for information from a car from a local company that passed by our car, luckily ours. We have to remember that it is totally forbidden to do excursions or safari at night and we were very lucky to have seen the headlights of this car!The next day, he didn't tell us that the car was broken and that we could not do the Safari. We communicated with the owner of Quest Horizon, who only then organized a new car and another guide. We missed the whole morning to go to Safari! The new guide only stayed with us that day and the other day another car was organized and a new guide arrived almost 2 hours late !! We lost almost 3 days of Safari and had lots of wear and stress.
The owner got us a flight to try to make up for so much lost time and we went to Lake Manyara which has practically no animal. It was the minimum that he could do!
We were very sad to lose so many days in such wonderful places in Central and North Serengeti.

there are a lot of animals but to many cars that disturb migrations and i feel so bad for the animals

Tanzania is a magical country which should be on everyone's bucket list.
The country is beautiful with incredible scenery and wildlife. Each day we were overwhelmed with the variety of animals and birdlife, and the guides were so knowledgeable. There is no rivalry between the companies, they all want the best experience for their guests and communicate via radios when one of the Big Five is spotted! We stayed at stunning lodges during our trip and the warmth and professionalism of the staff were way beyond many 5 star hotels in other parts of the world. To ensure your safety you are walked from and back to your lodge when dark which reminds you that there are wild animals around. When you open your blinds in the morning and discover a male baboon sitting on your veranda you know that this is not the run of the mill holiday!

Truly one of the best experiences
The highlight of my trip was exploring the national parks, especially Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Witnessing the Great Migration in the Serengeti was surreal—thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains, with predators lurking nearby. The safari guides were knowledgeable and ensured we had the best chance to spot the Big Five.
Mount Kilimanjaro stood majestically in the distance, and though I didn’t attempt the climb this time, just seeing it was inspiring. The beaches in Zanzibar offered a perfect contrast with their white sands and turquoise waters—ideal for unwinding after the adventure-filled safaris. We swam with wild dolphins and got to explore the beautiful coral embedded with thousands of marine life.

was another highlight. Visiting Maasai villages and learning about their traditions and way of life was both humbling and enriching. The people of Tanzania were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile.The weather was warm and pleasant in most regions, making it easy to explore. As for safety, I felt secure throughout my journey. Following local advice and using reputable guides made all the difference.
If you’re a nature enthusiast or someone seeking a mix of adventure and culture, Tanzania should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to return someday!

Beautifull
The Mikumi National park was very beautifull, we seen a lot different animals. The Safari had we booked by KIHINDO safari’s and the communication was very good, winnie keeps in touch before and after the safari.
We stayed in Dar es Salaam but we found it very busy en chaotic.

Unforgettable experience with Commiphora Africana Safari
We had an incredible experience travelling from Kilimanjaro Airport to the Namanga border. Everything was perfectly organized by Jackson, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the trip without any concerns. Our guide, Hussain, was exceptional, making the journey truly unforgettable as we spotted numerous lions, leopards, and other breathtaking animals. By the end of the trip, we had witnessed so many stunning sights that we decided to put our cameras down and simply savour the experience.
We wholeheartedly recommend Commiphora Africana Safari to all our friends and family.

Never though a trip to safari could be so entertaining!
We had beautiful 3 days in safari and relaxed another week in Zanzibar after. Very happy we did safari first because you need some time to rest afterwards. Recommend to visit Serengeti and Ngorongoro, fantastic places!

Incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience I'm sure will never be topped!
We had an amazing time on our safari in Tanzania. We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro! We went in March, so it was off-season, and it was incredible. We only got rain 1 day, though rain was predicted for several. The weather was warm and sunny most days, hot and sunny one day, and rainy and cold one day.
The wildlife we saw was incredible. We didn't go during the migration, but we still saw so many amazing animals and tons of babies! We didn't see predator activity (possibly too hot), but still did see predators. We didn't get to see Crocodiles or Leopards on our trip, but many people we met said they saw leopards! We were jealous.
The people were lovely. Very welcoming and always willing to help out. The roads were dusty on dry days and a bit bumpy, and windy to Serengeti and Ngorongoro (take meds if you get motion sickness!). But, our tour truck provided cushions on the seats and that helped so much. Hardly noticed the rough conditions most of the time.
We want to go back!

The safari in Tanzania was amazing!
The safari experience in Tanzania was an incredible experience! I was traveling with my mother inlaw and at all times we felt safe and well cared for. All the accomodations were very nice, the camping in 'tents' was definitely more like glamping. The rooms were always clean, beds were comfortable.
The food at all the resorts was delicious with several options,
and all the staff were so gracious, friendly, and helpful! We had so many enjoyable interactions at each stop.
We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see and then some.
Our guide, Jaffari, did a great job of making sure each game drive was successful.
He was so knowledgable about the animals, plants, culture; we really enjoyed
our adventures with Jaffari.
I highly recommend going on safari in Tanzania, you will not be disappointed!

Fabulous experience
We have just returned from a fantastic safari in Tanzania (Nyerere tented camp). The overall experience was amazing. From the minute we landed in the bush we we very well taken care of with excellent food, accommodation, transport and tours. I did not expect to be able to get so close to the animals. The safari itself was exceptional. The people of Tanzania are very friendly and are always willing to help. I would not hesitate to go back again and would encourage anyone else thinking about it to try it.
