We had beautiful 3 days in safari and relaxed another week in Zanzibar after. Very happy we did safari first because you need some time to rest afterwards. Recommend to visit Serengeti and Ngorongoro, fantastic places!

We had an amazing time on our safari in Tanzania. We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro! We went in March, so it was off-season, and it was incredible. We only got rain 1 day, though rain was predicted for several. The weather was warm and sunny most days, hot and sunny one day, and rainy and cold one day.
The wildlife we saw was incredible. We didn't go during the migration, but we still saw so many amazing animals and tons of babies! We didn't see predator activity (possibly too hot), but still did see predators. We didn't get to see Crocodiles or Leopards on our trip, but many people we met said they saw leopards! We were jealous.
The people were lovely. Very welcoming and always willing to help out. The roads were dusty on dry days and a bit bumpy, and windy to Serengeti and Ngorongoro (take meds if you get motion sickness!). But, our tour truck provided cushions on the seats and that helped so much. Hardly noticed the rough conditions most of the time.
We want to go back!

The safari experience in Tanzania was an incredible experience! I was traveling with my mother inlaw and at all times we felt safe and well cared for. All the accomodations were very nice, the camping in 'tents' was definitely more like glamping. The rooms were always clean, beds were comfortable.
The food at all the resorts was delicious with several options,
and all the staff were so gracious, friendly, and helpful! We had so many enjoyable interactions at each stop.
We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see and then some.
Our guide, Jaffari, did a great job of making sure each game drive was successful.
He was so knowledgable about the animals, plants, culture; we really enjoyed
our adventures with Jaffari.
I highly recommend going on safari in Tanzania, you will not be disappointed!

We have just returned from a fantastic safari in Tanzania (Nyerere tented camp). The overall experience was amazing. From the minute we landed in the bush we we very well taken care of with excellent food, accommodation, transport and tours. I did not expect to be able to get so close to the animals. The safari itself was exceptional. The people of Tanzania are very friendly and are always willing to help. I would not hesitate to go back again and would encourage anyone else thinking about it to try it.

Tanzania was absolutely amazing. We saw so many animals in their natural habitat and because we went during the rainy season, the scenery was so picturesque!
The trees and the flowers made the backdrop of our Safari drives look like something out of a movie. We are looking forward to going this again in the near future :)

The dream of a child

Going on a safari in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater was one of the best experiences of my life. Since I was a child, I dreamed of seeing animals in the wild, like in the movies—but being there exceeded all my expectations. The vast landscapes, the incredible biodiversity, and the deep respect for the animals create a unique connection with nature. The Serengeti has a special energy that’s hard to describe, and the Ngorongoro Crater feels like a world of its own, full of life. It’s a journey that stays with you forever. Absolutely recommended.

Tanzania, with its diverse wildlife and magical landscapes, evokes deep emotions with every encounte

Our adventure began in Tarangire National Park, with our first encounters with wildlife: majestic elephants, curious giraffes, striped zebras, and lazy wildebeests… The magic took hold immediately. The next day, as we left the region, the road led us through colorful Maasai villages, crossing paths with herds of goats, donkeys, and even a few zebras. The landscape shifted as we approached Lake Natron, skirting the sacred volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai before enjoying a delicious brunch under an acacia tree, facing the lake’s unique and almost surreal atmosphere.

That evening, we stayed in a little corner of paradise after an excellent meal. The next morning, a gentle walk brought us to the lake’s edge, where hundreds of flamingos offered a magical spectacle. On the way, we passed zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests resting in this peaceful, timeless place.

Then we headed to the Serengeti, the long-awaited park. From the very first day, the landscapes and wildlife
Read more took our breath away. The long hours on the road faded away thanks to everything there was to see. That night, we stayed in a camp in the heart of the park, lulled to sleep by the sounds of lions and nearby hippos.

The second day exceeded all expectations: animal encounters at every turn, and just when we thought it was over, more surprises appeared. A cozy campfire closed out the evening before another wonderful night in a beautifully appointed tent under the stars.

Next, we made our way south in the Serengeti to witness the great wildebeest migration. The experience was breathtaking. We enjoyed a brunch on the hood of the car, surrounded by endless wilderness—a truly unforgettable moment. That evening, we reached a new lodge just in time for a stunning sunset.

Our final safari day took place in the Ngorongoro Crater. After a long ascent, an extraordinary view unfolded: a vast, protected caldera with a lake, green grasses, flowers, and abundant wildlife. It felt like paradise, shielded from the outside world. A perfect ending to our journey.

Tanzania revealed its treasures to us little by little, with gentleness and wonder, allowing us to take it all in without rushing. Throughout this incredible journey, our guide Goodfrey was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. He made the experience all the more special.

A heartfelt thank you to Serengeti-African Tours, who listened to us during the planning, welcomed us on arrival, and supported us throughout the trip. This journey truly lived up to all our expectations
