I’m overall very happy. The guide was very knowledgeable, nice and we always felt like we were in good hands. The tour was well-planned out with a nice breakfast and lunch.

Claude is incredible--very personable and knowledgeable!
The tour was very easy to set up through the website and the owner/operator was prompt, courteous, and responsive. My driver was Claude, who was super friendly and knowledgeable, even though I was the only passenger and had a million and one questions. He knew all the roads in the park and where the animals were most likely to be.
100% would use Golden Rwanda Safaris again and 100% would request the same driver!

Absolutely amazing and thorough with his information.
Our 12 day journey throughout Rwanda was top notch. Frank, the owner, was very responsive before, during, and after our trip with any questions or needs that we had. The trip itself was absolutely incredible from the driving, the hotels, seeing animals such as wild gorillas, chimps, all kinds of monkeys, birds, and some of the big five with many more animals, to the somber genocide memorials. Rwanda is an amazing country with much to see and do and this trip provided insight to all of it. Our driver/guide, Jean Claude, was also fantastic. He was thorough with his information and anything he didn’t know he was able to discern for us later. He was very accommodating to our trip needs if we wanted to veer off course. I can’t recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris enough. You’ll be extremely satisfied with the trip, price, and customer service. L

Professional and service oriented
The whole experience was very professional, and they made an excellent effort to make sure that we were comfortable and had a good experience at all times. Our guide was very friendly and had a lot knowledge that he shared with us. The experience was in other words very good, and I will recommend Golden Safaris when traveling to Rwanda.

Efficient, Informative, Friendly, Fun!
Loved my experience with Golden Safari at Akagera! Our driver was Frank and he was prompt, friendly and fun. Our tour guide, Justine, was just as fun and informative. We saw almost all the Big 5 animals except for lion, and it was well worth it.

Excellent service！
Golden Rwanda Safaris is a very reliable company with excellent customer service and affordable car rental price. Me and my partner had hired a Toyota rav4 from them and the car worked perfectly on both sealed and unsealed roads. The owner is always very responsive and genuine. He is happy to go extra miles to support us even it is offoffice hours. Strongly recommend to people who need a car or any travel packages.

Breath-taking & Ultra Accommodating
Before I go on THANK YOU JOANNA for being the best guide we could ask for.
Prior to arriving, Frank was very responsive, helpful and professional when making our itinerary. This process was the start to a very carefree trip where we didn’t have to worry about a THING.
From the moment we landed in Rwanda the team was by our side, there was no moment where we felt confused nor felt lost in a new city. They were always ready and willing to go the extra mile for us.
For example we planned a day in Rwanda just to ourself , easier said than done in terms of getting around. As soon as we told them that we planned to check out the city they asked if we wanted a driver to show us around. What was supposed to be a day of just checking out the place turned into a tour where we learned so much.
The accommodations at each destination were top notch and the service was unreal especially where we stayed to see the gorillas!
The days were well planned but also flexible if we needed to modify. It was all about the details! For example: There were always fresh bottled water in the car. And having the resource of a local guide at all times gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and culture.
A perfect example of the level of thoughtfulness:
While in Akagera we wanted playing cards. Joanna and our local guide went so far out of their way to get someone in town to buy and deliver a pack of cards all the way into the national park. It was BEYOND our expectations.
Jonna and team are super thoughtful. We were able to totally customize our trip to our schedule and spend our time the way we wanted.
