We explored Akagera National Park in Rwanda and did Gorilla trekking in Uganda - both were magical experiences that were well organised and seamless from start to finish. My trip was individualised to match my requests, budget and time frame. last minute changes were no problem and East Africa Safari Tours bent over backwards to ensure my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to me nearest and dearest. Yes, they are new (ish) and there are few reviews available but don't let that put you off. I had a wonderful trip which was full of things to see and do, food was great, transport reliable and comfortable. go for it!

Incredible, unique and authentic experience
The safari was magical. We left Kigali (me, Anna the organizer and Gerrar the guide) at 4:30 a.m. heading to Akagera Park. We arrived at 7 a.m. and immediately started the safari. I was lucky enough to see the Big 5 and other animals up close thanks to the open roof allowing you to stand up in the car. Then, we had a picnic at a "rest area" in the heart of the park. We finished around 2 p.m. after admiring many animals. We arrived in Kigali at sunset. An excellent day that I will remember for a long time!

Our 4-day primate adventure with East Africa Safari Tours was truly unforgettable! From the moment we landed, everything was perfectly organized including the paperwork for the permits.

You will not be disappointed if you book with East Africa Safaris. They make you feel safe and welcome prior to and during your entire trip in Rwanda! Anna and the team are extremely accommodating and will make sure that you have an excellent experience and are well taken care of. I was ill on the day of my excursion, and my guide Gerard was so kind in making sure I got the medicine that I needed and that I was in the appropriate group for my gorilla trek. For how expensive gorilla trekking can be in Rwanda, this tour group made the experience well worth it. Highly recommended.

Exceptional service, terrific variety, amazing guides
Quotes, changes to itinerary and questions pre tour were dealt with very efficiently. My tour was exceptional thanks to respectful, caring and thoughtful guides and driver Anna & Gerrard going above and beyond. Occasionally when photo opportunities didnt arise with locals and animals they created them. The tour had terrific variety and the surprise zip gliding through rainforests was really appreciated.
