A very perfect trip
At first I was attracted by the travel agency's affordable offer, but its reviews were very few and far between, so I was a little concerned, but when I landed, I found that my worries were unnecessary.
Kevin and his team won me over with their professional expertise and dedicated service. They crafted customized travel plans based on my itinerary, allowing me to fully experience Africa.When I encountered issues, they promptly addressed them, not only fulfilling my requirements but also letting me immerse myself in the warmth of African hospitality. Their exceptional service made me fall deeply in love with this land.
All in all, Kevin and his team are absolutely trustworthy.

The Nduruma waterfall hike and Meru coffee tour was one of the highlights of my stays in Arusha!
This is a very authentic visit to a small community of artists and coffee growers in Mount Meru. There is a beautiful hike to a pristine waterfall called Nduruma, and a visit to a small community of artists and coffee producers. They prepare an authentic Tanzanian lunch on wood fire with clay pots, the flavor profile is just spectacular. You have the chance to pick coffee fruit, separate the bean from the fruit, and roast them over wood fire, finally grinding the coffee you roasted over wood fire with wood mortar pestle, and then brewing it Tanzanian style. The bloom is just beautiful and it was like trying coffee for the first time, for me at least, there’s nothing like a cup of fresh coffee in Tanzania. A special thanks to Junior and Elijah! They were really welcoming and provided such an amazing experience! Our driver and guide was also just an amazing host, very attentive and concerned for our enjoyment, Enoch! Thank you all for an unforgettable and wonderful day together!
Great experience and energy
I stopped here for the coffee portion of the tour. All of the guys were awesome! They provided great information and the singing was unbelievable. The young woman that made lunch didn’t speak English but here food spoke for her! It was amazing.

I have enquired about a joining camping safari a few weeks before the trip. Kelvin replied immediately with all the necessary information and quotations. I could not make up my mind. Kelvin kept in touch asking if he could be of any further assistance.
The morning before the trip @ 4am I decided to go ahead with the booking. To my surprise Kelvin responded immediately. He assisted with accommodation referrals as well as last minute questions.
When I arrived to Arusha later that afternoon, there was transport waiting at the airport. Kelvin also took me shopping for a backpack and took me to rent binoculars.
Throughout the safari he checked in to find out if I was doing ok. I was a sole female traveller and always felt safe.
The safari itself was an unforgettable expierence. We saw all of the big 5 multiple times except for the rhino. The food was deliciously home cooked and I had the best soups I've ever tasted.
Kelvin as well as the service providers he make use of and hotel he referred, made my stay and expierence amazing and smooth sailing.

We just finished an incredible 7-day trip through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Shenga Safaris, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the very start, our operator, Kelvin, was incredibly friendly and super responsive, making the booking and planning completely seamless. Our guide, William, was fantastic—he kept us laughing with his great sense of humor and had an amazing eye for spotting the big animals. Overall, it was a flawless experience and we highly recommend them!

Great people, great accommodations, great food, and most importantly fantastic wildlife sightings!
We went on a safari with Shenga early this may. We were greeted at the airport by kelvin (one of the owners) and Eli (the tour guide. Everything from start to finish on this safari was perfect. From the jeep to the lodges, to the animals we got to see. Eli, our guide, really made our trip. He was so funny and so knowledgeable and really made this an unforgettable expirence. I highly recommend requesting Eli. We saw just about everything we wanted to see. 30 plus lions, some of them just 5 feet away. 5 cheetahs also just a few feet away and so much more. What an experience!
Best Experience I could have dreamed of!
After looking around at various companies, I chose Shanga tours and had an incredible experience. They answer questions quickly, were very organized and professional, and provided the most amount of Safari days (5days) at the lowest price compared to other companies, which only offered 4 days of safari at the same price or higher. They even upgraded us to a nicer lodge at no extra charge. Ellie, our tour guide, was exceptional! He was charismatic, knowledgeable, flexible, and so fun. He genuinely cared that we enjoyed our experience and managed to get us only a few feet away from lionesses, hippos, elephants and their babies, male lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildabeests, etc, etc. you HAVE to choose Shanga tours you won’t be disappointed!!! Thank you Kelvin and Ellie for everything!

Shenga tours is a great tour service especially when it comes to price. It was very affordable and the experiences had during the tours are ones that I will not forget. I highly recommend anybody to book a tour through Shenga no matter the budget size. Kelvin (one of the owners ) is a very kind and caring person along with our guide Elli. Elli made sure we had fun no matter what we were doing and by the end of the trip became more of a friend than a guide.

Exceptional
I contacted a range of different tour operators for my safari to the Serengeti and to the Ngorongoro Crater. Shenga Tours immediately stood out from the others in the way that they responded quickly and comprehensively and always went the extra mile to respond fully to questions and to provide valuable advice.
Nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel like I was Shenga's special customer with the degree of attention that was provided. All of the accommodation that we discussed and agreed on lived up to - and exceeded my expectations and the safari itself was an wonderful experience with an excellent driver / guide, who was a great source of information and was expert in tracking down a huge range of animals - including the 'big five'.
Special mention goes to Kelvin who was meticulous in every detail and supported me all the way in my safari plans. He was a total pleasure to deal with and I cannot thank him enough for all his hard work and care. He met me on arrival and escorted me when I left for the airport at the end. He was fundamental in making my safari the huge success that it was. With the current travel problems caused by the situation in the Middle East, Kelvin helped resolve any issues and concerns that arose due to events outside his control. I had to stay an additional night in Tanzania due to flight disruptions and Kelvin immediately stepped in and made hotel arrangements for me accordingly.
I honestly would recommend Shenga Tours and Safaris to anyone who wants a safari organised with peace of mind. It was excellent value for money and I enjoyed every minute.
