Absolutely fantastic experience seeing all the wildlife
We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had during our tour with Mimsoft Safaris. Wonderful lodges, excellent services, with wonderful meals onboard.
Kenya 🇰🇪 is definitely one of those places, especially the savannah(Mara), the actual beauty of which you can not capture through your camera lens no matter what you do. It settles deep into your soul in ways you cannot imagine. You lose track of time, and you lose your connection with this artificial world. You only exist in the wild, alongside your oldest pals, and get a good whiff of how far humans have strayed away from what they were supposed to be.
Kenya was fantastic, and it was nothing less than a wonderful surprise for all of us. The weather, the hospitality inside the resorts, and lodges were excellent. Thank you Steve, for planning and execution of a wonderful safari for us.
We wish to visit Kenya in the future, again.

We loved Kenya: it did not disappoint. The landscapes were spectacular, the animal sightings amazing, the people interesting, informed and so wanting us to have a good experience.

Exellent Trip, Highly Recommend. Great experience with Steve of Mimsoft Safaris
We had a brilliant trip with Mimsoft Safaris. Communication was great before the trip - every question was answered professionally and lots of helpful tips. We loved spending time with our guide, Kevin. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the animals, areas we visited, and life as a guide. We learnt so much and saw all the big 5 several times. On our trip, we went to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboselli. Everywhere we went, we had something new and beautiful to see, ranging from multiple lion prides, illusive leapards, or herds of elephants. We'd highly recommend this once-in-a lifetime trip with Mimsoft Safaris - and you'll be extra happy if you end up with Steve. Thank you, Steve and Kevin, and all the staff at every hotel. We will never forget the experience we had.

Well Planned yet Flexible
Mimsoft safaris was exceptional in the planning phase. Steve gave us all the details to help us plan the tour and even helped to modify the itinerary to our liking with utmost ease and patience.
During the safari, Isaiah, our safari guide was really knowledgeable about local culture and safari in general. He was very accommodating to all our requests and was fun to be around too.
Our guide had good communication with other safari drivers to take us to the animal spotting. Within 2 days, we say 36 lions, 6 cheetahs, a leopard, buffalos, elephants and much much more. Even saw lions in the hunt along with an amazing african sunrise.
Although, we could have used more experience to get to spots to view the river crossing. But I understand, this is random and depends on the animals too.
All services were provided as stated out in the itinerary with minor hiccups here and there which is normal. Make sure to confirm all accommodation bookings before hand.
Overall, you will enjoy your safari with MIMSOFT. They are great value for money and operate the tour with compassion and without any fuss. Professionals at their job !! I definitely recommend :D

Extremely Disappointing Safari Experience, Would Not Recommend
Unfortunately, our experience with this company was deeply disappointing. From the start, the service fell far short of what we paid for. Our guide, Isiah, consistently did the bare minimum and showed little interest in providing quality experience.
In Tsavo, he spent much of the time on personal phone calls and speeding through the park, even when wildlife was visible. He rarely attempted to spot animals, and when we asked him to stop, he did so briefly, sometimes even driving off while we were still standing to take photos. Questions were ignored or answered incorrectly, and his overall knowledge seemed limited.
Amboseli was worse. After only 1 hour and 45 minutes in the park, he decided, without consulting us, to head back to Nairobi. Not only did we miss time in the park, his decision to leave early put us so far ahead of schedule we also missed the prepaid lunch. On the way back, we were left waiting in the vehicle twice, once for him to have an extended coffee break and then several minutes while he shopped for personal groceries from roadside vendors. While he was out of the vehicle, we experienced aggressive harassment and uncomfortable confrontations.
When I raised concerns with the company, the response was dismissive and offered no real solution. The last two days were more of the same: distracted by his phone, ignoring wildlife, and even discussing letting strangers join our private tour, something we paid extra to avoid.
Thankfully, the second week with a different company and team was a stark contrast: professional, passionate, and truly representative of Kenyan hospitality.
Sadly, Mimsoft Safaris failed to deliver what was promised and missed an opportunity to make things right. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend their services.

We respect divergent opinions and welcome feedback; however, we also believe that feedback should be sincere, balanced, and factual. While safaris can at times be challenging and not every expectation may be fully met, it is equally important to highlight the positive aspects of the experience, as this reflects the genuineness of the feedback provided.
We would also like to clearly clarify that on a private safari, no strangers can join your safari whatsoever. During game drives, guides often communicate with one another via radio calls to share wildlife sightings and improve the overall experience for guests. Unfortunately, this was misunderstood as strangers joining your safari, and the radio communication itself was also raised as a concern. We respectfully note that such communication is a normal and essential part of a guide’s work and is intended solely to enhance wildlife sightings for your benefit.
During the safari, your cooperation was essential. For instance, after every game drive, our guide would ask what time you were comfortable starting the next activity, including early morning departures. You expressed discomfort with this, feeling it infringed on your privacy. Nevertheless, we respected your preferences throughout, as our clients’ comfort and choices remain our top priority.
Our guide, Isaiah, is highly experienced, with over 10 years in the tourism industry. His knowledge and professionalism are well recognized, and many guests can attest to the quality of service he consistently delivers.
We believe in maintaining integrity when evaluating others and the services offered. Constructive and unbiased feedback helps us identify areas for improvement, whereas biased feedback does not assist in addressing gaps or enhancing service delivery.
