Unforgettable Uganda Safari And Horilla Tracking
Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The trip offered many amazing wildlife sightings and was an incredible experience throughout. The guide was kind, knowledgeable and professional, and his driving skills were excellent, making the long drives feel very safe and comfortable. The entire tour was very well organized and truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Uganda!

Welcoming, kind and detailed oriented
I really enjoyed working with Kyooma Gorilla Safaris. I worked with them to visit the golden monkeys in Rwanda and to hike Mt. Bisoke. I reached out to many different companies to get quotes. Kyooma and Mwije (the office rep) was wonderful and listened to what I wanted to do within my budget. They definitely were the cheapest in terms of price of all those contacted, but not in the quality of experience. From start to finish they helped me plan a great and comfortable experience. I wanted to see crater lake on top of Mt. Bisoke and they made it happen. I had all the information I needed to experience my trip with ease. Blair was my driver and he was GREAT! I really enjoyed his company for the 2 days. Had lots of laughs and great conversations. He didn’t mind that I took a bit longer to hike and eat before departing back to Kigali. Loved learning from Blair about the work and his life in Uganda. I have zero bad things to say about Kyooma Gorilla Safaris. I would 100% work with them again!

Excellent, exceptional safari
I booked a three-day gorilla safari and it's really worth taking. My guideMuhwezi Shever gave me alot of information about gorillas and golden monkeys and he arranged the trip very well and accellently. Hotels were all good. The gorilla safari made me really tired becauseit involved Hikingand slopping down, but it's worth un forgettable experiencei have ever had in my life time thanks kyooma gorilla safarifor arranging such a beautiful safari. I reallyrecommend kyooma to travel with and ask for Shever as your guide he is the best guide and knowledgeable kind and hardworking.

Friendly
Communication with Kyooma was fast and easy. They sent helpful reminders leading up to our trip. We had a comfortable van for 4 of us and a smooth ride to Volcanoes National Park. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable.

Incredible experience on 2 day gorilla trek
Our experience with Kyooma for a 2 day Mountain Gorilla trek was exceptional! The entire experience was more than we could have hoped for, seeing a family of 10 gorillas up close was unforgettable. Highly recommend taking the 2 day option to visit the genocide memorial and enjoy the lodge and area, including the women's collective.
Mwije (office manager at Kyooma) was so friendly and responsive, planning was easy and seamless. Our guide Robert was knowledgeable and friendly and a great driver. The accommodation at Da Vinci Lodge was excellent - the food was terrific (we chose our menu for each meal and acccomodating a vegetarian diet was no problem) and enjoyed a warm fire in our room and hot water bottles in our beds. Everyone went out of their way to make it a comfortable and worry free trip from beginning to end. Very strongly recommend Kyooma!!

Well organized and professional
I booked 5 days with Kyooma Gorilla Safaris which included Mount Sabyinyo, one day Bwindi Gorilla tracking, batwa cultural, and Lake Butyunyi lake tour. The itinerary was what I inquired for and every trip flowed int the other with no issues. My guide Muttwezi Shever was instrumental in facilitating the activities, providing information as needed, and driving me everywhere. I always had water and snacks, and had the opportunity to taste obushera along the way. I recommend this business for Uganda hiking and gorilla tracking activities. Everything met expectations and there were no surprises (only pleasant ones).

Great experience
They were able to set up a two day tour within a day of the tours start date. They took me to hike the volcanoes. The next day I was able to go gorilla trekking with their help arranging a permit. Muhwezi the driver was quite friendly, and the car comfortable. The accommodations they arranged were good. Their price was fair.

2 Day Gorilla Trekking
Had an excellent experience with Muhwezi on my 2 day trip. I was looking for a quick add on to an existing trip to Kigali. Kyooma was quick and efficient to respond to my booking request and delivered everything I asked for. Muhwezi was there to pick me up right on time and we had a wonderful two days with the Gorillas in Uganda. Accommodations were delightful and vehicle was top notch.

Highly recomended!
We booked 4 days golden monkeys tracking in Volcano NP and gorilla tracking in Bwindi NP and everything was just perfect. Very well organized, pick up in Rwanda, transfer to Uganda, check out by the Lake Bunyonyi. Despite of our low budget the accomodation, food, transport etc. were of high standard.
And I would like to especially thank to Muhwezi Shever who was our driver and guide - he was carefull driver, educated guide, always with smile. He helped us with all trables we had (money exchange, buying staff ...).
Thank you very much, Muhwezi and Mwije, you made our trip exceptional!
