Perfect organization - outstanding adventure
We chose Uncensored Safaris due to professionalism of Avitus - the manager, which struck us in the very e-mail as well as reasonable price. The adventure (two-day safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro with flight from Zanzibar) was perfectly organized and carried out. Our guide - Juma was very friendly and knowledgeable, not only about wildlife but also about history and culture of Tanzania.

Beautiful, Organized and professional experience
Amazing organization and flexibility. We had risked postponing the trip due to travel disruption in the Middle East and the company was very flexible even if we paid upfront, proposing a voucher to be spent in the next year. Thankfully we were able to fly to Tanzania and the experience has been perfect and hassle free. Avitus has been excellent in organizing the trip in every detail, from hotel pickup to the airport to the romantic dinner in the Luxury lodge in the park. The safari guide Fadhil is exceptional: knowledgeable about animals and culture in Tanzania and expert in driving and fixing car issues
Wow just wow, read this if you’re considering
There were so many choices of tour operators to choose from and honestly the prices and plans are kinda the same but you should choose Uncensored if you’re considering for these reasons,
1. The price is best for what you’ll get : we chose the luxury program with luxury accommodations. With us comparing the prices for a little while - this is the best and (im not sure) but it seems to be owned by Tanzania people while other companies have different nationalities operator.
2. Avitus, the tour operator is amazing and helpful throughout the trip. We had problems with flight flying from Dubai and he was so accommodating and understanding. His care made our trip easier and he prepared for so many surprises during the trip for us and helped my soon to be husband executed the proposal during the trip perfectly. Thank you so much. Also, he’s so so thoughtful and kind - you’ll know what I mean when you message him.
3. Fadhil, the driver! Best driver for the trip honestly. We’re doing safari during wet season - there’s heavy rains, mud, and it’s difficult to find big 5 but with his experience and his eyes he spotted all of them for us and we managed to get all big 5 in 4 days! Moreover, he’s super resourceful, knowing all the animals : their behaviors, their scientific name? (Like how lol) we’re having so much fun with him. When we come back again we’ll choose him as a driver again if he’s not bored of us😂
4. The accommodations : we stayed at Escarpment luxury lodge and Lake Ndutu luxury tented. Long story short? Just go! Don’t worry about the comfort or cleanliness or food or whatever. It’s amazing. We were worried it’s gonna be a lot of bugs - dirty or uncomfortable for this trip but it’s totally the opposite so you can rest your minds

We booked a 2-day private safari with Uncensored Safaris and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent right from the beginning. Avitus responded quickly, clearly and professionally to all of our messages. He also sent us a very helpful PDF that outlined everything included in the trip, which made it easy to understand what to expect. I didn’t even realize we had booked a private safari (English is my second language), so that came as a very welcome surprise, it was just me and my sister in the vehicle.
The trip itself was flawless, but I’d definitely recommend doing some of your own research beforehand so you’re well prepared, especially if visiting Tarangire and Ngorongoro. A few essentials we were happy to bring: binoculars, warm clothing (it’s cold in Ngorongoro), mosquito spray, and a good camera with zoom. I managed with my phone camera, but I really wished I had something better for long-distance shots, especially for animals like lions, servals and more shy animals.
As for the service: it was top notch. Our guide and driver, Emmanuel, was incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the animals and bird species we saw. His ability to spot animals was truly impressive. He also gave us lots of interesting facts about Tanzania and Zanzibar along the way. We didn’t quite catch all of his humor (likely due to cultural differences), but he was friendly, professional and made us feel safe the entire time.
We especially appreciated how flexible and supportive the tour operator was when my sister fell ill the same morning we were supposed to fly out. Avitus rescheduled our entire safari for two days later with no additional cost, apart from a $100 flight cancellation fee charged by the airline. He handled everything so smoothly and we’re deeply grateful for that.
The safari itself was unforgettable. On day one, we visited Tarangire National Park and saw elephants, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lizards, birds of prey, and more. On day two, we explored the lush, green landscape of Ngorongoro Crater – such a unique and breathtaking place. And saw hippos, flamingos, pelicans, herds of zebras and wildebeests and lots of birds.
I’ll never forget the feeling of being surrounded by elephants in their natural habitat in Tarangire, or the dense vegetation and rich wildlife of Ngorongoro.
The lodge (Farm of Dreams lodge) we stayed at for the night was very luxurious with friendly staff and great food, but we arrived quite late and left early the next morning, so didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we’d have liked.
In terms of value for money, it’s hard to compare since we didn’t look at too many other options. And yes, the trip was on the expensive side. But considering the service, professionalism and overall experience, we still feel it was worth it. If you’re on a tighter budget, I’d suggest doing some deeper research, but we don’t regret booking with Uncensored Safaris at all.
Everything went as planned, and we always felt safe and well cared for. If I ever return to Tanzania for another safari, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Uncensored Safaris again. Thank you, Avitus and Emmanuel, for an incredible adventure and for taking such good care of us!

Excellent experience for attention and quality of services
My experience with Uncensored Safari was fantastic! Their attention to the customer is maximum from the first emails, the manager Avitus is very kind and available for any advice and additional service, the guide was very good and showed us a lot of animals.
The location- where we stayed (Safari view luxury camp) was great, with very kind staff and very good food.
The price paid was blessed and certainly well spent.
Definitely highly recommended!

Uncensored Safaris were excellent, they were supportive, flexible and proactive at every step
Avitus from Uncensored Safaris was incredibly responsive from the start.
I contacted 2 or 3 companies initially but decided Uncensored were the most proactive and flexible.
We were not disappointed.
Avitus helped and adapted the trip to suit us and was very supportive when plans changed due to a bereavement within the family.
He helped us even with the internal flights either end of the trip and the accommodation he arranged for us was fabulous.
Our guide Emanuelle was absolutely fantastic with his knowledge and enthusiasm - He went above and beyond to show us the Big 5 plus lots more and we were impressed with his bird knowledge too.
We even got to see a hiding Leopard at the end of the day as the sun was going down and a wandering Cheetah as the sun was coming up!
I would completely recommend Avitus and his team who made our family trip to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Taranguire such an unforgettable 3 day adventure.

Beautiful Experience
The communication with Avitus was excellent and left no question unanswered. The price was very good for the quality and the service given. During the safari, which we did with our 5y/o kid, Meshack took very good care of us all the time, having infinite patience with our needs to stop the car for every bird, bug and animal.

Professionalism and excellent treatment.
We chose this company not only for its reasonable price but also for its professionalism from the start. Avitus responded promptly to all emails, explaining all our questions and offering us different options that suited our needs.
The three-day safari was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed all three parks we visited, especially our 5-year-old daughter. The accommodation met our expectations, with good food and very friendly staff. Our guide, Meshack, was fantastic. He is an excellent driver who made us feel safe at all times and was very efficient in finding animals. He is also very attentive and friendly, and was kind and patient with our little one.
