We are LIJIA and SIYUE, two girls from China, we were sincerely wanna thank you for guiding our three-day safari tour. Thanks for taking care of our itinerary with warmth like a father and provide assistance for our future plans , so we have written this letter, hope you can see this, and also share those info for the same needs person, We strongly recommend our guide Mike, he is super nice !
As two Chinese girls who are visiting Africa for the first-time crossed the entire hemisphere ,we know less for this country’s people. There’s always have some concern for our safari tour. In our country, people tend to have cautious and conservative altitude for outside-country tour, so we feel really nerves at the beginning when we landed. However, after our guide Mike arrived, he friendly greeted us, took the initiative to pick up our luggage to help us to put it on the car in order to let us relaxed. Then Mike specially called the platform and putting me on speakerphone to let them knew we were safe, (This is because mike was not the earliest contact), Mike warmly introduced Nairobi for us, throughout the process, Mike was very patience and humble, with polite altitude, he told us different culture. When he heard us need sim cards, but the people nearby sim card shops would take half an hours unless, he help us get it by other ways.
Those Mike’s behaviors let us increase safety feeling for Nairobi, and become kinda could enjoyed our trip.
Mike pays great attention to details!
From check in, transportation arrangement, Mike would wait for us all the things be down, caring us all the unlike others, tell us what was in the lodge, usually, like us, small groups tourists, we might not catch on time so precisely, mike would gave us patient, not to push us, reminds us times up frequently, this keeps our space feel not rush. And also is an mainly good manner for us,
There’s one more details!
After the end of this trip, our outbound trip was DIY and we didn't have anyone pick us up for the second trip. MIKE heard that we were going to cross the border alone, he could have delivered us to the designated location and left because it wasn't his job, but MIKE didn’t! he chose to stay, not to leaves and ensure every necessary procedures and transit arrangement, even helped us booked a car etc tried to make all the arrangements were properly arranged before leaving, all because of Mike’s sense of responsibility and kindness, we really thank him, we may not have been able to travel from Kenya to Tanzania so smoothly
During our whole tour, what Mike shows to us, politely. Friendly kindly and thoughtfully, all those impressed us deeply, especially, its not easy to make a plan for Africa safari. We sincerely thank Mike gave us such a unforgettable trip, hoping more ppl can came and joining this safari tour too,

Good experience
Good coordination and pre safari communication from Tim. Our guide Mike was warm and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the accomodation option included, it was a luxury camp with great service and food. Safari was great, saw 3 out of the big 5 and cheetah which are rare in the mara. Overall good value for money. We did the overnight option and had 6 hours of game drive. If there's time and budget the 3 day option with all day game drive on day 2 would totally be worth it.

We had a great experience from start to finish, and a lot of that was because of Timothy. From the very beginning, he helped us with planning and booking and was genuinely helpful, patient, and accommodating. He walked us through options, pricing, and logistics without pressure, and it always felt like he was trying to make the trip work for us, not just sell a package. He was responsive, reassuring, and supportive throughout the planning process, which made a big difference.
During our stay in Kenya, everything came together exactly as planned. The vehicle was comfortable, spacious, and reliable. Our guide Roman was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and very communicative. More importantly, he made us feel safe and supported the entire time. We trusted him completely, and that peace of mind made the trip even better.
Roman knew the area extremely well, had strong local connections, helped with dinner reservations, and was very engaging throughout the trip. He went above and beyond and truly elevated the experience.
Overall, this was a smooth, well organized, and stress free experience thanks to both Timothy and Roman. Highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to the region.

Real Africa Travel planned, organized activities and booked hotels for our wonderful Kenya safari vacation! From airport pickup to drop off everything was taken care of! Mike is a wonderful driver and was able to find all the animals on our list in only a couple days! We hope to be able to come back to Kenya and see more of the beautiful country! From start to finish our entire experience was excellent!
We did an 8 day tour in Kenya with Real Africa Travel in July 2025 and visited 5 national parks with a group of 9 (ages 12-47). From start to finish our whole trip was amazing. Tim was great to work with in the planning stages. His response time to my many questions was always less than 24 hours. He really helped us figure out what would and wouldn't work for the trip we wanted and offered many helpful suggestions. He and his team were on hand to greet us arriving on 3 different flights (including the one landing at 1 am) in Nairobi. Our drivers/guides, Mike and Roman were very wonderful. The vehicles were well maintained and we felt very safe the entire time we were in Kenya. Having traveled to developing countries before I came expecting there could be delays, changes of plans, and un expected hiccups during the trip. I was pleasantly surprised when this wasn't the case. Everything went according to plan and Mike and Roman were always on time. Both have been guides for over 10 years and their love of their country, the animals and their job was obvious. They shared tons of knowledge about the animals and landscape but also answered our questions about Kenyan culture, economic growth, and political shifts. Their answers about the countries current struggles and their hopes for it's future were honest and insightful. We were very happy we chose Kenya for our safari both for the country's emphasis ecotourism and the wildlife viewing opportunities. We saw a lion hunt and a cheetah hunt! We saw countless elephants, giraffes, zebras, 4 different species of antelope, hyenas, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, water buffalo, rhinos, flamingos, hippos, crocodiles, ostriches and more. I highly recommend Real Africa Travel

Kind, knowledgeable, agile and great hoats
The overall experience was great.
From the get go they were accommodating and cooperative wirh our needs and worked well in that manner.
From our arrival all the way to departure our guide Roman was wonderful. We did have a great time experiencing this beautiful country. They work well with last minute changes and we really appreciated that.
My only suggestion to all travelers please dont buy telecom sim
At the airport they said we would get coverage, and our guide dint discourage us. However we dint have data and not even coverage.
The purpose was for emergencies as we enjoyed being disconnected. Go with airtel or safari

A memory never to me forgotten…
About our African journey: it was a trip of our lifetime with three generations. My daughter and granddaughter and I chose REAL AFRICA TRAVEL and had the trip of our lifetime!!! We started with a Safari in the Masai Mara then proceeded to Siaya, Kissumu and Eldoret, where we have various Missions in place. Real Africa Travel booked us into the best hotels that I didn’t even know existed. Our driver Mike was tops and we all liked him so much. If we ever get a chance to go again it’ll be Mike we go with.!! Spectacular!
I traveled to Kenya from Colorado with my husband for our honeymoon. Real Africa Travel was the best tour agency I could have picked. From the moment I was quoted, Tim was patient and very informative on all my questions. Never felt pressured and he was so quick to respond. Tim and Lilian found great accommodations for us and planned our 2 week itinerary. When we were there, Mike, our safari guide was the kindest soul. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable he was. Our safari experience in Kenya was truly surreal and unforgettable. We had an amazing time with Timothy and Mike, who made the entire journey smooth and memorable.
From the very beginning, they were professional, helpful, and gave us the right suggestions while also being extremely flexible in accommodating our requests.
The safari itself was phenomenal. Mike, our guide, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable — he answered all our questions with great enthusiasm and shared so many interesting insights about the wildlife and surroundings. His friendly nature made the experience even more enjoyable.
