We are tourists from China who planned to visit Tanzania during the National Day holiday with friends. After comparing various reviews online, we found Zanzi Trekking, a travel agency that impressed us with the communication with the owner. We booked a 6-day Kilimanjaro Lemosho route trek and a 4-day Safari with them. Zanzi arranged a great team for our mountain climbing service and a knowledgeable Safari guide. The owner of the travel agency is very communicative and reliable—highly recommended!
Kilimanjaro Lemosho Trek: The team members were all very friendly, and our guides, Charles and Lazaro, were very professional. They provided a lot of encouragement and support along the way, adjusting the pace according to our needs, which greatly contributed to our successful summit. Kilimanjaro is truly beautiful, with the scenery changing from tropical to temperate to cold as we ascended. The sunrise, sunset, snow, blue skies, white clouds, and the night view of the city at the foot of the mountain are all unforgettable. The Lemosho route can be quite tiring, so it's recommended for those with a certain physical fitness. Otherwise, you might consider other routes.
Safari: Due to limited time, we arranged a 4-day Safari visiting three or four national parks. We saw four out of the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos) up close, and many other lovely animals. Our driver, Suma, was very responsible, gentle, and talkative. He studied German and is interested in China and Chinese language. In short, the Safari was also fantastic!

We paid £500 deposit in this country and the rest on arrival in Kilimanjaro. It was this that made us book with zanzi as the worst thing that could happen would be that we’d arrive and have to find our own tour. That didn’t happen . About a week before we set off, we were given a direct email to ‘Honest’ - a very good sign , and we communicated directly to him about pick up times, flight numbers etc, answering our queries within a very short timeframe and he was at Kilimanjaro on our arrival .
He took the rest of the payment upon arrival at our first hotel, met us the following morning and transported us to our Safari vehicle. We were then in the hands of Humphre who was just the nicest man and so kind.
We had the most amazing, informative and fun trip you could imagine with beautiful scenery and animals, visiting Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We returned after four days and after a night in Arusha, were transferred to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar where we relaxed for a couple of days before booking a boat trip to Mnemba island and swam with wild dolphins.
This trip has been one of the best experiences of our lives and we take with us so many happy memories.

Kilimanjaro 7 day Lemosho
Our experience with Zanzi was very smooth. The sales team responded quickly and answered our questions. On the hike, our guides Charles and Mathew were knowledgeable, helpful and positive. Our cook Bazili was wonderful and cooked us delicious meals. Our waiter and summit porter Calvini was lovely and helpful. Overall the entire crew was positive and very hardworking, would recommend.

A great one day safari!
My husband and I booked with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris for Ngorongoro Crater for a one day safari in Tanzania for our honeymoon. We had limited time in Tanzania so we opted for the day trip and it went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great and we would always recieve a fast response to our questions. The actual day of the safari was also great, our guide had great knowledge of the local area, the history and the animals, and of course the animals were spectacular as expected. Amazing honeymoon day trip to Ngorongoro
My wife and I booked with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris for a safari in Ngorongoro Crater for our honeymoon. We had limited time in Tanzania so we opted for the day trip to the crater and we couldn't have been happier. Booked the trip for my husband and he had the experience of a lifetime on the trek. The team was quite helpful from the initial enquiry down to the moment he landed in Tanzania. They were a pleasure to deal with on the phone, very patient with us even aftee having taken a whole month to decide on what we wanted. We paid a deposit and the balance on arrival which gave us peace of mind as it was our first time dealing with them. When my husband landed, they made sure he was well taken care of and gave me timely updates everyday so I had nothing to worry about. 110% friendly and professionel
I did a 7 day Safari and joined a group, travelling solo. It is challenging depending on weather, different schedules of group members etc. And they managed perfect solutions for everybody every day. My high expectation have been easily outmatched. Ask for Mike as guide. He does not have the nickname ‚Magic Mike‘ for no reason. Best guide I could imagine: Relaxed, driving skills (which are needed!), deep knowledge of the animals, incredible sharp eyes to spot them. After 7 days you want him as your second Daddy! 😅
