Make sure you ask for George by name as having the right guide is extremely important and he will show you warmth and provide many laughs but will most importantly get you to the roof of Africa.

Zanzi Trekking made climbing Kilimanjaro a happy and safe experience!
My two friends and I had a WONDERFUL experience with Zanzi Trekking. We did the 7 day budget Lemosho route with Isack and Jumane as our guide and assistant guide. The crew was friendly and professional throughout, we especially loved our camp manager Shedraki (Sheddy) and the cook Menas (Shay Shay), who put together three delicious courses for every meal.
Isack and Jay pushed us the right amount and were always there to support us when we needed it, leading to a successful summit! It would not have happened without this wonderful combination. They were both incredibly knowledgeable on the environment and the history of mountaineering at Kilimanjaro, making for interesting chats throughout the hike. There was laughing, singing, and learning everyday - could not have asked for a better trip 😊
Absolutely fantastic experience with Charles, Nestor, Antidius and team
The trip with Zanzi up to the summit of Kilimanjaro was absolutely incredible. The guide team of Charles, Nestor and Antidius were phenomenal in both the serious matter of looking after us on the trek and at altitude, but also filling us with positive vibes, boosting morale and throughout enjoying chatting about all matter of things and dancing to the tunes. The chef of the team was fantastic and kept us fuelled through the full week with excellent breakfasts, lunches and dinners that were tasty and different every day. The porter team were fantastic treating us like a big family and greeting us with huge smiles and fist bumps every day and looking after us brilliantly for the week. And a special shout out to the team of summit porters who joined the guide team to carry our bags, watch out for us and give us all important boosts to morale on the way to reaching the summit.
All in all I would absolutely recommend Zanzi to anybody wanting to climb Kilimanjaro, and especially the team of Charles, Nestor and Antidius who were simply fantastic!!!

Well-informed, very responsive and super reliable
Booked with them a 7-day hiking expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro's Uhuru peak. Communication via email and WhatsApp was prompt and responsive. From picking us up from the hotel to guiding us through the mountain for 7 days, we always felt secure and well taken care of. George, the mountain guide, alongside his team (porters, cook, etc), was extremely experienced and patient. I highly recommend.
Johny Jackson was great at taking the time to be sure we got the pictures we wanted of the animals
Great value for the money. Tent camping was clean and safe. For anyone wanting a safari experience without the bougie cost this is the way to go.

The operator was well organised
I recently climbed Kilimanjaro with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris, and I can't recommend them enough! The main guide, August, was exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about the mountain. He spotted all the wild animals in the rainforest at the start of Lemosho. The entire experience was well-organized, and the team made every step enjoyable. If you're looking to conquer Kilimanjaro, Zanzi Trekking and Safaris is the way to go.

Excellent!
A very kind and professional team. We went 2 people with a crew of nine. Always looking after us with a smile. They listen to our questions and fixed how we wanted. Very good food everyday. Can’t understand how they can fix starter, hotmeal and fruits every day. Even breakfast was porrige, egg, vegetables, mango, pineapple ond so on. They also choosed good places on the side for the camp. Not so crowded snd buzzy. And they were quiet when we needed to sleep. Other campgroups were more noisey. I will recommend you this agenyfor their tranparancy for costs and opurtunity for arrange the trip we wanted. We go for Kili, safari and zanzi total 19 days. You can not find that in other bigger companies.
