Excellent Kilimanjaro Trek Operators
We went with Zanzi on a 7 day Kilimanaro hike (Lemosho route). They were excellent - supportive, helpful, and fun. Particular credit to our lead guide Charles, and guides Nestor and Antidus. Their wider group of porters were all excellent also

We had a great time doing the 7 day Lemosho route with Zanzi! Food was amazing, the porters all really friendly and helpful. Our guides Charles, Nestor and Antidius were very knowledgeable and looked after us really well. We'd looked at quite a few companies at different price ranges before going with Zanzi, definitely worth it, from what we could see the more expensive tour operators offered a very similar experience to what we had. Can't recommend Zanzi enough, was an amazing experience!
Once in a lifetime experience
Highly recommend Zanzi Trekking & Safari for hiking Mount Kilimanjaro. We did the 7 Day Lemosho route with Guide Charles and Assistant Guides Nestor and Antidius, who looked after the group well and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. The guides adjusted the pace according to how the group was going so it was the perfect balance between efficient and manageable. Communication was also very clear, and the guides let us know the plan for the day ahead each night. Food prepared by chef Basili was also enjoyable - simple and provided the energy needed for the day ahead. On summit night, the guides carried our backpacks which we didn’t expect but was much needed and Im not sure we could have made it there otherwise. Overall - an amazing experience! Thank you Zanzi!!

Amazing experience
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience with Zanzi Trekking and Safari! We saw so many animals, and our driver Daniel was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Everything ran smoothly, including easy airport pick-up and drop-off. The hotels were excellent with great food and entertainment, and extra attractions were added along the way. It was everything we could of looked for ina safari and much more. Highly recommended!

Our 7-day Lemosho Route tour to Kilimanjaro was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we started the trek, we were blown away by the incredible dedication and support of our team. The porters worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort, carrying our gear and setting up camp ahead of our arrival at every stop. They were truly the backbone of this adventure, and we couldn't have done it without them.
A huge shoutout goes to our amazing guides, August and Lazaro. Their professionalism, knowledge of the mountain, and encouragement were unmatched. They knew just how to pace us and keep our spirits high throughout the trek. Whether it was sharing interesting facts about the route, keeping us motivated during the challenging parts, or just their warm and friendly personalities, August and Lazaro made the journey so much more enjoyable.
The food was far beyond our expectations—delicious and perfectly suited for the demands of the trek. Very professional, guide Omar very kind and attentive. He did his best to find the animals and show them to us. Was very patient. Honest the manager was also very friendly and comes to your hotel before and after your safari to give a briefing and make sure everything is ok. The guide is very punctual. I recommend!!

We are so glad that we chose Zanzi Trekking and Safari Tour as our travel company for our 10 days and 8 nights tour in Kenya and Tanzania. The company exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first day to the eighth day, the manager, Honest, and our guides ensured that our journey was smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Honest also helped us coordinate the airport pickup driver to make our travel experience more seamless. The guides in Kenya and Tanzania were excellent and they made sure we had a memorable game drive experience and always found the best locations for us to take close-up photos of the wildlife. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well prepared, and the meals provided were also very good. We were also provided with plenty of cold water to ensure that we stayed hydrated throughout the day's tour. Highly Recommended! Superb Tour Guide
We had a great experience with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris tour. Overall journey was smooth and the accomodations are well provided. Mr Honest, the local tour operator always ensured our safety despite we are quite worry initially. During game drive our tour guide also always ensured we had the best spot to capture the animals in a close up view. He is a good animal tracker!
They too provided us a great ride to Arusha supermarket. Love it so much! I would say that Zanzi Trekking and Safari tour gave us an amazing experience and definitely will revisit again;)

Zanzi Trekking and Safaris was amazing! Justin and David were great guides and were very helpful and kind all throughout our climbs of both Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro. They were very motivating and felt more like friends because of how personable they were from eating with us to talking with us as we were hiking. The rest of the team was also wonderful. Calvin, Dominick, Lazaro, Preygod, Tumaini, Elisha, Matayo, and the chef were always on time and we could not have done it without them. I highly recommend this company!

Best service, felt like family!
Had the most amazing time on Kilimanjaro with Zanzi. It was just me and a team of 4 porters, 1 guide and 1 chef. They did such a great job making me feel good every day. The food was amazing, I even felt like I was glamping in stead of camping. The team is wonderful and so is the mountain. My guide Charles could tell me all about nature, animals and of course Kilimanjaro. Learned a lot and had the best time climbing the highest peak in Africa. Thank you Zanzi!
