Great work being done.
5/5

Thanks to all the support by Lencer who promptly responded and helped us with all the inquiries. It was both amazing and a wonderful trip.
Special thanks to our safari guides, they have a vast knowledge about the animals; their character, diet and habitat. I really appreciate their skill of spotting the animals. We learnt a lot about nature, diverse tribes and environmental situations which the country is facing.
It was both an inspirational and an adventurous trip.
We definitely recommend Fabrics of Adventure, it is the way to go.

EXCEPTIONALLY ORGANIZED COMPANY.
5/5

We took a 7 day safari with Fabrics of adventure safaris. Lencer was instrumental in planning everything including accommodation upgrade. We settled on Sopa lodges in all the 4 parks and a private safari in Land cruiser. The lodges were comfortable, clean and the foods were delicious. Joseph, our guide made our stay even more enjoyable as he was comical, knowledgeable and great story teller.
Highly recommendable!

GREAT PLANNERS
5/5

This company exceeded our expectations despite a relatively young company compared to other companies we engaged. Lencer was precise and gave us many accommodations options to choose from. To get a blend of lodges and camps, we settled on Mara Bush Camp, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge and Kibo Safari camp in Amboseli. Everything was perfect except for the distance between Lake Nakuru and Amboseli that seemed quite far.
Thank you Lencer and Philip for making this happen.

I Strongly advice you Avoid Fabrics of Adventure Safaris if you are looking for a honest agency
1/5

After spending a significant amount on a luxury safari tour, our experience was marred by:
- Misleading information and unachievable misleading itineraries. We wasted 2 days of itnerey 5 nights 6 day luxury tour.
- Meals served at roadside instead of promised hotels. Timings spelled in the itinerary are completely misleading.
- Though the agency Fabrics Adventure promises to have guests with the same itineraries, they load people who have very different itineraries. Hence you will be deprived of what you have paid for and Driver makes decisions based on the mix of guests. WASTE OF MONEY
- Grueling 12-hour drives with minimal time spent in parks - completely off from itinerary and missing quality safari time you have paid for.
- The tracker cum Driver, PAUL, seemed lost and inexperienced. on top of that he is trying to dictate terms with guests. He is a very poor tracker and failed to spot animals and even disrupted rare hunts.
- The Fabrics Adventure direct contact is great until you confirm your tour. Once you are in Nairobi he will just show a jeep to get in and from there he is unable to help you and Driver runs the show.
- Fabrics Adventure gives you a 3P vehicle owned by a different company and has no control at all on changes the Jeep agency does.

If you want a peaceful and memorable safari experience in Kenya, look elsewhere. Fabrics of Adventure excels only in creating false itineraries, giving 3P to manage guests where the driver takes decisions even if you are completely out of your itinerary given by the agency.

overall strongly recommended to avoid this agency if you want a peaceful and great safari in kenya. which i am sure we all look forward to.

myself and my wife who was planning this trip for some time and looking forward for great time, left Kenya with sour feelings.

Dear Mr. Aruna,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we value the opportunity to respond to your concerns.

First and foremost, we would like to clarify a few key points:

Before confirming your booking, our team clearly advised and strongly recommended that you opt for a private safari experience, given your preference for a more personalized and flexible itinerary. However, despite our guidance, you insisted on joining a group safari, which by nature requires certain compromises in timing, routing, and overall decision-making to accommodate all guests equally.

Group safaris are designed to serve diverse travelers who may have different accommodation levels and itineraries. These shared tours operate on fixed schedules and routes, as communicated to you in advance. Unfortunately, during your tour, it became evident that you were uncomfortable sharing a vehicle with other guests who had booked different accommodation categories, despite full transparency on this point at the time of booking.

Furthermore, while we understand your desire for control over the experience, it’s important to note that in a group setting, it is not feasible to have one guest dictate the itinerary or override the interests of others. Our guide, Paul, did his best to accommodate everyone fairly under difficult circumstances, while still ensuring that national park schedules and road safety guidelines were followed.

Regarding meals and driving durations, please understand that traffic conditions, park timings, and wildlife movements can impact the exact itinerary. We strive to deliver as close to the promised experience as possible, but some flexibility is essential, especially on a group tour.

We’re sorry that your expectations were not aligned with the nature of a shared safari. Our goal is always to create memorable experiences for our guests, and it is unfortunate that this situation escalated due to a mismatch between your preferences and the product you chose.

Had you followed our professional advice and booked a private safari, we believe your experience would have been significantly different — and more in line with your expectations.

We hope you understand that we did our best within the framework of the group safari you selected, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Biggest flop of my trip.
1/5

1. Agreement discrepancy.
They did not deliver the service they promised. We paid more for an upgraded open-sided vehicle as they promised they would provide, but they sent us a Landcruiser without a popped-up roof and below industry standards. One day during the Safari, because there was no roof to cover, I got sunstroke and ended the day's trip early.

2. Cover up problems and shirk responsibility.
When we questioned that the vehicle they provided was not what we required, they kept trying to cover it up, telling us that the Landcruiser was the industry standard and that no guest had ever questioned it (with an ironic tone), and requiring us to bear it as there was no other option. However, we were not questioning Landcruiser, but that they did not provide an open-sided vehicle as they promised.

3. Their quotation is more expensive for the same services.
Taking the price we paid as a reference, they did not provide an open-sided vehicle which generally requires an additional $700, therefore, in fact, their quotation was $500 higher than other agencies for the same services. Don’t choose them and save your money!

4. Irresponsible and lazy tour guide.
The tour guide they arranged for us was extremely irresponsible, often driving while making personal phone calls.
Example 1: In Mara, it is 20 kilometers from our hotel to a gate of the park, and it took him 70 minutes to drive us there. Then wandered 2 kilometers near the gate for a whole morning and we saw almost nothing.
Example 2: When we parked just 1 meter away from a lion ready to hunt, he kept talking and laughing loudly. We tried to stop him, but he continued on the phone for 40 minutes. At last, the antelopes were scared away by his voice, and the lion gave up hunting. We missed a great scene that could have happened, which made us very upset.
Example 3: He lacked a basic sense of service and courtesy. Firstly, I want to clarify that we have treated him politely and respectly. However, he didn't share enough information with us, didn't thank us for tips and snacks, interrupted us, and argued loudly with us.

Do not choose this travel agency, they will ruin your trip!!!

Ines and her husband Fred were very stubborn nothing we said made sense to them , they kept comparing us with other agency till the very last minute. They ruined their own trip since they did not want to understand what we were saying about the land cruiser from day one. The open sided land cruiser they insisted they paid for can only be used inside the parks of which we did not promise that and we did not overprice neither did we downgrade their accommodations. Our guide is one of the best and is very professional and knowledgeable. That is all lies, our guide cannot be rude to our clients.
They were difficult to deal with.
