Safari in the parks of the North + Zanzibar, organized by mail with Roberto.
Fabulous experience ... climate, landscapes, colors, atmosphere, hospitality, organization .. everything perfect!
Thanks also to the skill of our guide we saw lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs and leopards..the migration of the gnu .. everything ... only the rhinoceros did not come ..
It was a wonderfull experience!

Roberto the best!!!
So ... we organized our Wedding Trip with Roberto ..... and we could not have been more lucky !! I'll explain it from the beginning !! We were looking for a local agency so we could save, but we were organizing our honeymoon trip to Africa so it was hard to be able to trust !! We read many reviews from various agencies, but they did not allow to tailor the journey according to their own ideas !! Then one day we read about Savannah Explorers and it was tough because this review was perfect, but Savannah Explorers did not find anything on TripAdvisor (in fact my advice is to sign up) !!! In short, we contacted the agency and found out an absurd availability !! Roberto not only responded to over 30 emails but also called me by telephone to give me every detail! And so it was: the trip we customized us by choosing the lodges we most liked among many !! Obviously it is important to also stay at their advice because being in the place know what is best and what not !!! All the holiday (North Parks + Zanzibar) were organized to perfection without giving anything to chance !! A great thanks to our guide Jamesy who with his experience has been able to see us all: lions (more than 50), leopards, cheetahs, lion cubs, migration gnu through Mara River and also rhinoceros (very rare) .... .and then all the rest that Savana can offer you !!! Not forgetting 3 lioness horses !!! Roberto also organized the Night Safari (experience you can not miss) !! Last tip .... do not miss the camped tent camps Ang'Ata Camp .... the night at 2 there were gnu and gazelle in front of the tent entrance with hyenas at 20 meters !!! Thanks Roberto and thanks to all the staff and I hope to reorganize something together soon !!!

Excellent safari, our guide has been very friendly and was really prepared
It was our first safari. We are a family with 3 kids (from 12 to 7). We did Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide has been very helpful to explain every aspect of wild animals life and was also very patient with the questions of the kids. We really enjoied the kati kati tented camp in the Serengeti. Everything was well organised. The only thing we didn't enjoied much was the visit to the Masai village just north the Ngorongoro crater. But, to be onest, it was not in the program and we did ask our guide to stop there. Enrico

wonderful
i don't know english very well, so excuse me for mistakes. Our travel in Tanzania was wonderful. We have see a lot of animal bot in tarangire, serengheti e ngorongo. The organization was like swize, the lodge was beautifull, clean and the personal very gently. It was an experience to make again

My dream trip. A fantastic travel, that we will always carry in our hearts
We've always had a dream: visiting Africa and discovering its parks.
Surfing the net, we discovered Savannah Explorers (http://www.savannahexplorers.com) and it's the best choice we have ever done.
From the first contact, Roberto and Floriana, gave us the impression that they are seriously and professional.
Roberto and Floriana asked about our dream trip and offered us a travel package including sightseeing Tarangire's park, Ngorongoro's park and Serengeti's park. They also recommended us to spend a few days in Zanzibar.
We followed all their advice and for one night we slept in a tent in Serengeti's park. This was an amazing experience.
Ibrahim, our guide for 5 days, spook Italian very well. He showed us many animals and he explained a lot about them.
All the locations, when they have booked, were beatiful and no one had left us disappointed.
We have known Masai's lifestyle and have visited an orphanage. All the experiences have been very exciting.
What can we say? Thank you for helping us to realize our dreams!
Great Tanzania Safari
Our safari with Savannah Explorers was amazing! I researched this trip carefully and found that Savannah Explorers offered us the most for our money. There were three of us and we were very happy with this choice.
Roberto was extremely helpful. We e-mailed and skyped with him. He answered all of our questions promptly and sent us a detailed itinerary and a lot of valuable information about Tanzania and about what we needed for safari. He designed a plan for us according to our wishes. There was never a problem with planning.
We did not see Grayson, but our guide Abdul was great! He showed us so many animals.We saw all of the big five. He was good at spotting animals we otherwise would not have seen and he gave us a wealth of information about the animals, the people and the country. When we asked questions he answered in detail. He stopped often for us to observe and take photos.
Our vehicle was more comfortable than I had imagined it to be, although we drove over many bumpy, rutted roads. Water, soft drinks and beer were provided. We charged our phones and cameras in the vehicle.(Be sure to bring a converter to connect to.) We went on exciting game drives, including a night drive with a different guide. If you go on a night drive, be sure to bring a camera. We saw three cheetahs eating a zebra, which we were told was a rare sighting.
All of our accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. I especially liked Kati Kati tented camp in the Serengeti. The atmosphere was just what we expected on safari; the food was amazing and the staff, especially David, the camp director, was friendly and very helpful.
Do not miss Ngorongoro Crater. It is worth your while to spend a little extra to stay at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge at the lip of the crater. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge itself was gorgeous. The view of the crater from the lodge's huge windows, from the terraces and balconies and from our room was magnificent. We saw baboons playing right below our window.
The animals, the terrain, the people, our accommodations-all of our experiences added up to an unforgettable adventure which we highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Savannah Explorers!

The best you can ask for
We chose Savannah Explorers as our safari operator in Tanzania. That was a great decision in all aspects!!!
First, Roberto the manager is a nice man. He is very responsible and taking the whole thing seriously. From the beginning, he gave us a very detailed plan and quickly answered with all the information we needed. We could feel he is much more serious then few more safari operators we tried to talk with. The price was also better.
The Safari experience was magical!
We had a privet great guide named Mdoe that was also our driver. Mdoe was amazing, very kind and profesional, we saw many animals from all kinds thanks to him and he could answer any question. He was also a very good driver, we felt safe.
All the accommodation we were in were very good. Actually we were even surprise from the very good level and great service. Part of the time we slept in tents that were very beautifull inside with privet bathroom.
We can sum up and say that strongly recommend Savannah Explorers as safari operator.There was not even one bad thing to say about them.
Savannah Explorers is the best you could find, dont think twice!

Amazing Safari
Our safari with Savannah Explorers was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed every minute of it!
Ibrahim, our guide, was excellent. He is a fantastic wildlife spotter who will see the ear of a lion sticking out of the grass at 1 km distance - amazing! He was also extremely good in positioning our vehicle always in the best position for observing and photographing, meaning he was excellent in anticipating the animal's behaviour.
In addition we highly appreciated the professional but very unbureaucratic organization of this safari. Roberto always replied immediately to all our inquiries and changes of plan and this made it extremely easy for us.
Thank you all for an overwhelming and unforgettable trip!!!

Our Bucket List Just Became Longer!
From first contact to our sad farewells, Savannah Explorers excelled in making this a memorable trip. Our guide, Peter, was simply amazing - his knowledge of the flora, fauna, animals and parks was only surpassed by his passion for the same and his awesome personality. Yes, we saw the big 5, many of them very up close & personal. It was the multitude of other animals we were just as fortunate to see that made it so that every single moment was special.
They even saved the day by chasing down one of our bags that didn't arrive with our flight - unfortunately containing most of Arlene's clean clothes - and getting it to us late on day 2 without any disruption to our itinerary.
Before we went, this was a once in a lifetime experience for our bucket lists - now we can't wait to explore more of the region, but only when Peter can be our guide!

The power of nature and a wonderful culture...karibu in Tanzania!!
We chose to go on a Safari in Tanzania as a destination of our honeymoon...A Safari in Africa was a dream of mine since I was a child, and what we actually lived was even better than my dream! Savannah Exploreres, especially Rama, our guide, made our week spent in Tanzania the most moving experience in our lives. The Nature is so powerful that makes you stir, Rama explained us everything about the animals and about Tanzanian culture, which now we are in love with!! A good guide makes the difference, and in our week spent together, Rama has become our friend (or better, our "rafiki", since we lernt also some words in swahili!!)
We completed our journey with a 4-day stay in Zanzibar, in the peaceful village of Uroa...beautiful seaside and another great cultural experience...now we know that "African homesikness" exists...and there is no treatment for it...just thinking of the next journey to Africa!! Thanks to Savannah Explorers we made our dream true...Asante sana!!!
