We had a fantastic time
Topy Tours is a reliabel organisation. They offer different tours in Tanzania. We booked a tour to Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro crater, Serengetti NP and Lake Manyara. Because of the rain Lake Manyara wasn't possible to visit. Topy Tours offered another good option: Mto wa Mbu Bike Tour - Cultural Cycling Experience. This was really nice.
Topy Tours is very quick in answering questions, they had a really good itinerary for a good price.
We had guide Ben for the Safari. He was a great guy as person. He spotted many animals for us. That made our Safari very special.

Exceptional planning of the tour & great driver + guide!
When I started looking for African safari, I was not sure which tour company to pick. I have researched and requested quotes from many tour companies from Safaribooking website. We wanted someone with local knowledge and expertise. I researched hundreds of safari companies, reading reviews, looking for any bad reviews or experiences people shared. Now you don’t have to the search. Just in case if you are searching Topy Tours reviews and company info, " Quaggay Topy Tours was the original name and to keep it simple they now known as Topy Tours. I am so glad that book with Topy Tours and you’ll have a top-notch safari experience! Everything was perfect for our 9 day tour.
Communication was very easy with JACKSON prior to and during our tour. Everything was made easy from inquiry to booking till the very end of our tour. Tour Coordinator Jackson was extremely helpful, informed and an excellent communicator. We were able to customized our own, private Serengeti safari within our budget. I changed my mind on our dates & itinerary multiple times, so that my family get to see the most in given times frame before finally booking and Jackson was incredibly patient and helpful. Cost of tour is the best I got when compared to different quotes I received from other companies.
We tour almost all the world famous National Parks in Tanzania, customized all in one Safari trip - Arusha, Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, North / West / Central / East / South Seregenti (chasing great Migration ) , Lake Natron and Ngorongoro Crater. At the end of the trip we added at the last minute and decided to visit Wild Life Sanctuary near Arusha and it was the best decision of our trip. At the sanctuary, we got to feed and pet the fully grown wild animals including Giraffe / Zebra / impalas / Antelopes / Lion. We had no idea how completely unique and stunning our tour will be. The lodges were carefully selected and also very good, well maintained and exceeded our expectations. It was a unique experience for us to stay overnight in the wild. We experienced wild life outdoor night experience and saw many animals around the tent lodges. The tented lodges are very safe and security all the time provided you stick to the rules and regulations.
Our driver & guide AMOUR was exceptional, extremely knowledgeable about the Safari National Parks, friendly, relaxed and open to whatever we wanted to do & wherever we wanted to go. On one occasion, we spend long game drive time n the park and it got dark. And when is dark in serengeti, it is really "dark and scary". Our driver had exceptional GPS skills and we found the lodge which was newly built and had no visible directions. nOur safari was a magical experience thanks to our wonderful guide, We couldn't have asked for more. During our 9 day trip, we were able to see BIG FIVE, although RHINO was difficult to see and only found in Ngorongoro crater, we were able to view from distance but we managed it. We even saw LEOPARD, which is the rarest of all the animals to see as they live on trees. Overall we did approximately 3000 km ( 2000 miles) cross country game parks
We did not visited Tanzania only, but in fact we made friends for long lasting relationship !!

Very thoughtful and caring Safari company
Our tour was overall a good experience. Topy Tours and Jackson were very attentive and quickly replied to any questions or concerns we might have. Our guide Matcha was very knowledgeable and experienced and our guide Ben was a blast to go on safari with and a very passionate naturalist. Our accommodations and food were great and we enjoyed our nights camping the most. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 wasn’t an issue with Topy Tours or the service, it was more that we’ve never been on a group safari the switches guests around several times and we didn’t know all the parks in Tanzania only allow operators to run safaris from 6 am to 6 pm, so we felt like we missed out on morning and evening safaris, which is the best time for viewing wildlife.

Nice tour, although subject to last minute changes in schedule
The tour was great, I loved the experience! Anwar was an amazing tour guide (not employed by Topy Tours). I was however a bit dissapointed with the last minute changes in schedule. I had booked a tour including 2 nights camping and 2 nights in a hotel and was going to visit 4 National Parks. In the end, we camped for 3 nights, 1 night in a hotel and visited only 3 National Parks, and paid the same amount. I wish they had been more transparent about this from the beginning.

First and foremost thanks for giving us feedback on the whole Safari on your last day and also for taking the time to post it here. Somehow we are happy to hear the Safari was Great but saddened also by this area of concern. Please accept our deepest apologies for this inconvenient event.
Furthermore, the changes were made from visiting Lake Manyara to spending two nights inside Serengeti National Park. This means spending an extra day inside the Best National Park in Africa! and this was done with good intentions. ( The option was presented to other clients who were very happy about it) And this could be one of the factors that your Safari was great!
Moreover, the price remained the same and this was not advantageous to us because Serengeti is more expensive than Lake Manyara. So the price was not much of a concern to us but your overall experience.
Lastly, we would like to provide a 10% discount on any of your future trips with us.
Note: Normally we provide a briefing before Safari, for all our future clients we would like to alert you to take great attention to all the details provided. If anything is not clear, please ask for more clarity.

Great wildlife experience
We enjoyed this trip so very much. Both the two days of safari - in which we were brought to 2 parks with plenty of wildlife - as well the last mountain hike to the Materuni waterfall and visit to a coffee village. The food was also good and tasty. The guides were skilled and good company. The communication with Jackson was very good from the moment we booked the tour intil the end where he helped us with out further travels in Tanzania. Topy Tours is a good choice if you want a great experience for a budget price.

We had an unforgettable week exploring Tanzania National Parks with Topy Tours!
From the start the communication was excellent, Jackson replied within minutes every time! The booking system was easy and the website showed great choice of Safari’s! The transfer between hotel and airport was flawless and very easy.
The accommodation was fantastic! The best we’ve stayed in! Our favourite was the Moyo tented camp! A must if you’re visiting the Serengeti! All the hotels and lodges were unbelievable. The Gran Melia in Arusha was fabulous as well, a perfect start and end to our safari. Escarpment Lodge had amazing views and pool, very much recommend. The Serena Lodge was also great, the view over the Crater was unreal and we even saw elephants through our binoculars!
All the staff at the hotels, camps and lodges were very welcoming and attentive. They made us feel at home! Lucy at the Escarpment Lodge was the best!
The food in all of the accommodation was some of the best we’ve had! The Gran Melia even has its own vegetable garden and coffee plantation! The packed lunches each day were very tasty and filling!
The national parks were excellent. Our favourite was the Serengeti, we saw 4 of the big 5 here with the final 1 spotted in the Ngorongoro crater. The best experience ever!
Our tour guide Ibrahim, was fantastic! He made it his mission to get us to see the big 5 and without him this wouldn’t have happened. He was very knowledgable and would always point out matters of interest and explain what they were or how they worked. Even on the drive through Arusha to the National parks! He organised a meeting of a local Masai village, where we met locals and had a tour. We loved the vehicle and the fact we were able to stand up through the popped roof, this made better viewing of the animals! In total we saw over 40 species… and that’s not including the amazing birds we saw! So many wonderful eagles!
Our absolute highlight was when Ibrahim drove us to see a leopard! A moment we will never forget and haven’t stopped talking about! Thank you Ibrahim for a wonderful week Safari… we won’t miss the African massage of the roads though!
Highly recommend booking with Topy Tours! The only thing I would change is that we didn’t book for longer!

Ben was the perfect tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable and made the week as fun as possible!
This safari was everything we could have hoped for! Our tour guide Ben knew just where to look for each animal, had a deep wealth of knowledge about the country, the savanah, and the wildlife that lived there, and made the days so enjoyable with his stories and conversation. The accommodations were all stunning as well, with the Gran Melia and the Escarpment being our favorites. Jackson from Topy Tours was very responsive with any questions we had before arrival as well. We would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone heading to Tanzania and the Serengeti! Thanks again for a wonderful week, you guys really made sure our honeymoon was a trip we will never forget!

We also want to thank Assad, who was our guide on the first day and gave us a great start to the trip. Our guide for the rest of the journey, Joseph, was also fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and professional, doing a great job of helping us spot the Big Five and making sure we enjoyed every moment out in the savanna.

A perfect way to make your Tanzania experience
If you want a fantastic time in Tanzania, with of course an safari experience you should book with Topy tours.
Booking, replying, info was good to find. A good price/quality balance.
We travelled the last week with Ben(endict) and was really so good.
Fine (safe) driver, guide and person, with lots off know-how about all the parks, routes and animals.
When we were stil looking for animals, he already spotted them from far away.
Also very fine is that Ben has a natural way off how he must park the (great, well maintained, clean, provisied with cold drinks) car.
In the most perfect positions, he placed the car, so we could make great pictures from the animals.
For Some drivers it can be challeging where to stop, but Ben made it seem easy.
Because off Ben we have seen the big five!
We have seen almost 50 lions, 15 cheeta’s, so many birds, more then 10 rhino’s, so much zebra and wildebeast. And a fantastic all alone spot with a leopard in a tree, so close by!
Ben also gave us so much information about the animals.
Topy tours with our guide Ben made our safari so memorable, and I am my husband greatfull hè has found Topy tours online.
When we come back to Tanzania, because iT is so beautifull, we definelity book with Topy tours again, and hopefully Ben could en our guide again and show us the different parks Tanzania has to offer.
Topy tours picked is up from the airport, and from beginning to the end it was fantastic. We travelled in the wet season, and Ben made sure we never goten stock somewere. His driving capacity gives you trust and a way that you can sit down and just relaxe from all the beautifully things Tanzania has to offer. You can feel he has got your back and he shows you the animal and good spots.

Absolutely the Best in the Business, this was our 2nd trip with Jackson, Ben + team!!
Being the 2nd trip with Topy (1st Dec 2024), this time was even better. While we saw abundant wildlife, several sightings of the “shy rhinos” was the the most exiting. This time we requested the same guide Ben (who seems to have additional set of eyes on the back of his head) who has an amazing knack for spotting animals in unusual places.
Our friends, a couple from the States had the misfortune of being airborne when the attacks on Iran began, resulting in their flight turning back to USA. Being absolutely determined to make it for the safari planned a year in advance, they immediately rebooked via alternative route to reach JRO a day late. Jackson went out of his way to ensure our friends joined us a day into our safari (we did Ngorongoro the first day) and also adjusted the programme to cover Ngorongoro on return from Serengeti.
Our friends and us (3 couples) were absolutely thrilled with the experience and sincerely thank Jackson, Ben, Andrew + team for a memorable safari.
Most likely go back to Topy for a “Migration Tour”.
