Excellent very accommodating great customer service and knowledge
I took my 13 year old son for his birthday to a safari in Zimbabwe and Botswana organized by Cuckoo Safari we had a long list of wishes including:
Seeing the lions that kill elephants in Hwange and Chobe, seeing wild dogs cheetahs and leopards , rare antelopes like sable roan and tsessebe , flying over the Okavango delta and watching elephants swim… they made all that happen while staying in great accommodations and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them

Would definitely use Cuckoo Safaris again!
We only had a week so reached out to Cuckoo to create an itinerary so see as much variety as possible. Tatenda Tarzan was excellent! Communication was very fast and knowledgeable. He suggested a couple changes that worked perfectly for us. We wanted to go to church while visiting and he even went the extra mile and contacted a church member to pick us up for the service and was able to communicate with them before going which was very helpful. They offer airport pick up and return and the groups are smaller than most. That was one of the main reasons I chose them initially.
Having Cuckoo for the entire week was great. We had the same driver most of the days and Luwis is THE BEST! He is now a forever friend and went beyond so many times not only for us but other clients we had a safari with.
We enjoyed all the tours and safaris, the Safari guides are so knowledgable its amazing how much they know. TK at Hwange National Park catered to our interests and we learned so much. Also a shout out to Cedric at Stanley & Livingstone Private Game Reserve; he used old-fashioned tracking to guide us, and was a pleasure to visit with.
I could go on, but won’t. We would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend Cuckoo Safaris.

Awesome team!!
Since the beginning the Cuckoo Safaris was able to adapt to our requests and comeback with some ideas/ajustements to make our trip unforgettable. We did a trip covering Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana and everything runned so smoothly.
All staff is incredibly nice and attentive!!
If I comeback to I will certainly use their services again.

Cuckoo Safaris gave us outstanding wildlife experiences and excellent accommodations.
Everything about this tour was of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Two aspects were way above what we could have expected: 1) the quality of the wildlife viewing was incredible, including up close and personal experiences with lions, white rhinos, elephants, hippos, all manner of beautiful birds, and a wide variety of antelope. 2) the Matobo Hills Lodge is the most beautiful and unique facility we have ever experienced. Perched high on rocky outcroppings, the views of the vast Matobo Park landscape are stunning. Tarzan and Simon know how to provide outstanding tour packages in Southern Africa!

Wonderful and Courteous
We loved Cuckoo Safaris and would recommend to anyone. They are very easy to organize your personal itinerary, and respond quickly to inquiries. We added a game drive in the afternoon and it fit quite nicely. The guest house was amazing as well. Overall a great and affordable option for touring the falls!

Highly recommended local tour company form Victoria Falls
Very friendly and professional guides for both safari and the transfers.
We decided to do 3D2N Hwange National Park safari with them and were extremely satisfied.
Everything went smoothly from booking to game drives.
The hotel was excellent, transfers were on time, price reasonable.
The cuckoo team had an amazing spirit.
Timekeeping and punctuality were exceptional and I'd recommend travelers to be supportive of these young, energetic guides.

Extremely friendly, professional and caring
Tatenda was fantastic from day 1 when I reached out. It was late at night and ge still continued to correspond. The service remained the same throughout the entire trip. Accommodated last minute cha ges without a problem including increasing the lenght of stay. Had a fantastic time both at vic falls and chobe. Simon and tatenda are terrific guys to work with.

From beginning to end the service was excellent!
Everything about this tour was great! I went alone and felt so safe! Everyone made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions. They were always early to make sure I was on time for all of my activities! They would even text me to make sure everything was to my liking and even made sure I liked my lodge accommodations! Thank you all for making sure I was safe and well taken care of!
