Organised operator, excellent guides
I chose Lulu after shopping around a bit and finding that they were well priced and, importantly, incredibly responsive. I chatted to Elvis on WhatsApp and he very quickly prepared detailed itinerary documentation based on my needs, including a few iterations.
From an excellent start, the tour itself only gets better. I meet my two guides, Simon and Simon Peter in Kasese. They have just such a great energy. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. The vehicle is clean and comfortable.
Over the next 6 days we have such great adventures. Each of the activities was so much fun. The chimp and gorilla trekking delivered in spades. All the time my guides are keeping me informed on the natural and cultural phenomena of Uganda. When we share meals (I was travelling solo, so very happy for the company!) we laugh and joke and just have such a great time.
At every point Simon and Simon Peter make sure I’m comfortable, have what I need, and am well informed about the plan for each day. They are both professional and personable - and I’m happy to call them good friends after our time spent together.
Overall, I would happily book again with Lulu. They were fantastic :)

Amazing experience !
We booked the 4 days tour gorilla trekking, which included the golden monkey, gorilla trekking and game drive in lake mboro. We had an amazing experience Smith its a very knowledgeable guy, he is very social guy, literally knows everything and everyone in Uganda and Rwanda!!

Amazing tour operator! Excellent customized tour
I visited Uganda and Rwanda with guide Samuel. Everything was going the best way, i were enjoy it a lot. Samuel is very kind and have very good driving skills.
Tour agent responded very fast and made tour for me as i wished, even helped with visa. all hotels were very good (and food there as well).
I definitely reccomend Lulu safaris

Lulu Safari was the best choice for me, a solo traveler
Elvis, from Lulu Safaris was very quick to respond to my many emails. He worked quickly, I booked at the absolute last minute, and was able to accommodate some itinerary changes.
Lorand was the best guide/driver you can ask for. He is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, often before i got to ask them, and is able to name many bird/insect species and provide you with a little fun fact about them. He loves his job, and he is excellent at it. He checked-in with me regularly, ensuring I was having the best time. Enthusiasm is key, and Lorand was excited for me to get to see all that I did. He made sure the lodges/restaurants knew about my dietary restrictions, he made sure to stop so I could take photos. He was able to call ahead and make arrangements when there were problems with the itinerary (only a few, and they were minor). He made sure I felt safe 100% of the time. I could not have asked for a better driver/guide for my « once in a lifetime » safari as a solo female traveler.

Excellent 10d tour in Uganda
My wife and I did a 10d tour through Uganda. The itinerary was well planned and Elvis, our contact at Lulu Safaris before the tour, kindly included our additional requests, i.e. the inclusion of a boat tour in Mabamba and a night at Lake Mburo NP.
Elvis has also offered us lots of optional activities in addition to the regular ones. Generally, we enjoyed the diversity of all activities which includes game drives (also night game drives), boat tours and trekking. However, we were not informed about all optional activities, unfortunately. Particularly, in Kibale and Bwindi it is possible to do habituation tours which allow you to spend even more time with the primates, which we would have loved to do but we only found out about that later. The experience that we had with the mountain gorillas in Bwindi was magical nonetheless.
Our guide Charles has been a great companion through the entire journey. He is very knowledgeable about the various flora and fauna in each region that we visited. Furthermore, he excelled in spotting wildlife!
Overall we had a great time in Uganda and we recommend Lulu Safaris.

Perfect combination of gorilla tracking and safari
The trip was perfect, we didn’t know what to expect of the wildlife safari but we saw the big 5 and a leopard in a couple of hours. The rooms were big and had beautiful views. Out tour guide was Smith, he always did everything with a big smile and he knew everything about the countries and the safari’s. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a happy guide, that will help you with everything with a big smile on his face. He drfenitly made out trip much better!

Amazing ,professional Tour Operator
Thank You Lulu Safari ,Thank you Elvis and Samuel for the amazing ,organised Trip to Uganda. I had the opportunity to see everything that is possible to see in this blessed Country .
Of note, it was my birthday on the tour, and they even got me a cake. This is a small example about how sweet they were.
Samuel is very kind ,professional Guide and with very good and safe driving skills.
I would definitely recommend to visit Uganda, it is indeed the Pearl of Africa and also Lulu Safaris to show you the treasures among its land.

What an amazing trip! The gorillas experience was super special. The tour guide Smith, the BEST in the business. He is always happy and tries to find positives in everything even if something isn’t going your way! For sure try to get him as your tour guide.

An amazing experience we will never forget.
My family and me travelled with Lulu Safaris for one week in Uganda during Christmas holidays. We are very used to travel all around the world with different travel agencies and we all though that this travel in Uganda was just breathtaking.
We experienced magical moments with the animals and we were able to admire amazing wild landscapes that we rarely had the chance to observe. The local communities and culture were also very interesting and authentic.
We loved traveling with Lulu Safaris Uganda very much. Elvis Masiga, the manager of the agency was extremly accomodating, he organized a tailor-made trip for us respecting all our expectactions and numerous requirements. Thanks to him, we were able to see and do everything we wanted in a very limited number of trip days.
Derrick, our guide and driver, also exceeded our expectations. Driving for long hours everyday to make sure that we would be able to attend all the planned excutions at the best hours of the day, making sure that we were happy all the time, paying attention to every details such as the quality of our picnic location and view or the best postion of the car when observing the animals in the savana, he really made all the efforts necessary for making sure we were having the best time possible and even more. In addition to that, Derrick was always very joyful and of good company. We wish every other tourist who would like to visit Uganda, to discover this awesome country with him.
To conclude, we really recommed Lulu Safary Uganda to anyone and we hope that everyone who will visit Uganda will have the same beautiful experience as we did.
Great Family Experience
Wonderful 12 days with King Charles. We loved the people, animals, land, language, food, and culture of Uganda. Really appreciated the extra assistance beyond the tour - in getting Visas, waiting up throughout the night while our flights were delayed/cancelled, and helping us retrieve lost baggage. Thanks so much Lulu Safaris!
