Nice small tour operator which you can rely on
We had a really nice tour with Nhlalala Travel. We booked the 3 days Tour to Kruger from Johannesburg. We were no big group. Only the two of us were picked up and drove to Kruger. We were able to choose our hotel by ourselves. We really liked it. Nhlalala Travel has organized our safari tours very well. Our Guide Dan managed everything and we could always communicate with him. We really liked our tour.

Well organised, highly knowledgable and extremely friendly - an amazing experience
We did a four day safari and panorama route with Nhlalala travel and had an amazing experience.
Norman was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable guide. He communicated well and arranged everything perfectly - the booking process was seamless. He was always on time and was prepared to answer all our questions (and there were a lot), providing a lot of insights and creating a great atmosphere for the trip.
The safari was brilliant, we were able to see lions, elephants, hyenas, wild dogs and a lot more up close, and the Panorama route was beautiful with lots of breath-taking sights.
Highly recommend Norman and Nhlalala Tours.

Provides an amazing experience from start to finish
Norman was helpful and communicated great from start to finish. I was able to book super easy from another country and he stayed in touch during the lead up. He ensured we were comfortable and safe the entire time and was there to ensure we were picked and and dropped back after each individual safari. The accommodation he booked us into was great and the travel to and from Kruger was great. The trip back along the Panoramic Route was spectacular. 100% would contact Norman directly for any future bookings!

Very Knowledgeable and Professional
Pilanesberg Safari Nature Reserve park was so beautiful. The wildlife scenery was very beautiful to look at. Seeing most of the big 5 was so exciting. The weather was nice, lunch provided was very tasty and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various types of wildlife and their characteristics. It was worth the money. I totally recommend this tour.

Fantastic Safari in Kruger
This 3-day safari to Kruger could not have been better. Tour operator Norman Mlambo was in constant contact with me, checking in and making sure everything was alright. All the logistics were meticulously planned and implemented, including pick-ups, meals, and safari game drives. Norman is an exceptional tour organizer. My driver and guide, Loyd Makhubele, was with me every step of the way. He picked me up at my hotel in Johannesburg, drove me to Kruger via the spectacular Panorama Route, picked me up and drove me to all my game drives in Kruger (including one at 4 a.m. for a pre-sunrise drive!) and got me to the Mpumalanga Airport to catch my flight to Victoria Falls. He was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and I was lucky to have him as my guide. I was in Africa for over 3 weeks, and this tour was only 3 days, but it gave me some of the most memorable moments of my whole trip. Thank you to Norman and Loyd!

Organised everything and looked after us well
Norman was a great owner/operator of the safari and organised everything as well as looked after us for both our outward and inbound drive from and to Joburg. He booked our stay the Kruger Gate Hotel and organised our Safaris with SANParks and one of his freelance tour guides. Although at times it was a bit confusing who our guide would be for the day as plans did change along the way, we always felt safe and well looked after and Norman himself was warm and friendly.

I had a four days Kruger National Park safari tour with Loyd. Norman and Loyd organised an amazing trip for me that will last for a life-time memory. I stayed at the Kruger gate hotel which is excellent. The animal safaris were fantastic! The communication is great. Lyod is very responsible and considerate. He goes beyond and above and make sure everything is taken care of. The team is very reliable. I highly recommend you this company if you want to visit South Africa. They will not disappoint you!!

I watched other tourists at Kruger National Park on the phone with their tour operators yelling at them for their bad experiences - you don’t want to make a mistake on your operator & Nhlalala will NOT be a mistake!
They were very communicative, and gave me the utmost confidence in our 2-day safari. They customized our safari to be exactly what we were looking for. The travel accommodations and lodging were exceptional.
I can’t say enough good things about this company - 10/10 recommend and if we come back to Kruger National Park, they will be the only place we consider contacting!
Flexible, professional, and organized safari tours
2 Days, 1 Night Kruger National Park Safari from Johannesburg with Panorama Route – South Africa
We took a 2-day, 1-night Kruger National Park Safari with the Panorama Route from Johannesburg, South Africa, organized by Nhlalala Travel. Nhlalala Travel was responsive, flexible, and very accommodating with all our requests during the planning of our Kruger safari.
Loyd was our guide and driver for both pickup and drop-off in Johannesburg. He also guided us along the Panorama Route. Loyd did a fantastic job from the moment he picked us up—he was professional, informative, and very friendly throughout the journey.
He arrived promptly at 6:30 AM and drove us to Kruger National Park. During the long drive, he shared insights and stories, which made the ride enjoyable.
At Kruger, we took one afternoon game drive on the day we arrived, and an early morning sunrise game drive the following day in a safari jeep. The game drives were arranged by Nhlalala Travel and led by different safari guides. We were lucky to see four out of the Big Five—rhino, leopard, buffalo, and elephant—as well as many other animals.
We stayed one night at Perry’s Bridge Hollow Boutique Hotel in Hazyview. The hotel was clean, had a great atmosphere for an overnight stay, and the food was excellent.
On the way back to Johannesburg, Loyd took us through the Panorama Route. He was incredibly friendly and made multiple stops based on our requests. He managed the entire journey—pickup, drop-off, and guiding—professionally, punctually, and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip to and from Johannesburg.
I highly recommend Nhlalala Travel to anyone looking to explore Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route in South Africa.

Excellent Best of Kruger 4 Day Safari
I did the 4 Day Best of Kruger Safari and stayed at the Kruger Gate hotel.
Great experience all around: Norman was my contact person at Nhlalala before arrival and was very responsive and helpful. My actual guide for the 4 days, Konge, was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized: he worked with the hotel and the Kruger safari guides to make sure everything went smoothly.
The 4 day experience allowed me to do several game drives within Kruger National Park and to do the scenic Panorama Route day trip.
Kruger Gate Hotel was excellent.
