My safari was awesome! I went as a solo female traveler and felt safe the entire time. The accommodations were great beyond my expectations. My guide was so knowledgeable and we saw so many animals!! Perfect safari with a good guide
The guide picked us up in Dar Es Salaam. His english was good and he told us a lot of facts about the different tribes, communites etc. on our way to the national park. That made the driving fun and exciting.
We were on a two day safari. The guide did everything he could to help us finding cool animals. We did for example see many lions, giraffes and elephants close to our car.
We slept in a cabin in the nationalpark with a armed guard. It felt safe. The food was also good.
I do recommand.

Safari with Matata
It was the second time i‘ve travelled with Matata and it was again amazing. Matata organized the whole trip with beautiful lodges in the Serengeti as well as in the Ngorongoro crater. We had a great time there with very good food and nice people. I would book this Safari all over again with Matata and would recomend him any time :)

Very friendly and always attentive
We traveled for 1 week with Matata who was always available to our requests, patient and friendly in letting us know the culture of a country as fascinating as Tanzania. Friendly and Knowledgeable
Matata helped us with some research we were doing on tobacco farms around Iringa. From the first minute, the relationship was friendly and relaxed. Matata was interested in what we were trying to achieve and tried to help as much as possible. He then guided us for 4 consecutive days through the Ruhaha Park which he knows pretty well. He never counted his hours and was creative in the content of the daily tours to cover as much ground in search of animals and different landscapes.
