The best of the best!!
5/5

I cannot recommend this safari experience highly enough. I joined the tour from May 28–31, and it was truly one of the best 4 days and 3 nights of my husband and I's life. We celebrated our honeymoon here!

Our guide, Andrew, was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park was unmatched. He knew exactly where to go and how to navigate each area to maximize our chances of seeing the wildlife we were most excited about.

Thanks to Andrew’s expertise, we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless other amazing animals. He was passionate, professional, patient, and incredibly skilled at tracking wildlife. Beyond his expertise in finding animals, Andrew was also incredibly knowledgeable about Tanzania itself. He shared fascinating insights about the country’s history, culture, people, and landscapes throughout the trip, and we learned so much along the way. His storytelling and depth of knowledge added an entirely different dimension to the experience.

Every day felt like an adventure, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making the experience unforgettable for everyone in the group. If you’re considering a safari, do yourself a favor and book it.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and I will be talking about it for years to come. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An Unforgettable 7-Day Safari Across Tanzania with Andrew from Serengeti Wakanda
5/5

We had an incredible 7-day safari experience through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, and so much of that is thanks to our outstanding guide, Andrew from Serengeti Wakanda.

From the very beginning, Andrew went above and beyond to make sure every part of our journey was seamless, safe, and unforgettable. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife behavior, and local geography truly brought every game drive to life. He didn’t just spot animals, he helped us understand their patterns, interactions, and ecosystems in a way that made each sighting even more meaningful.

Andrew was incredibly patient, attentive, and always willing to adjust plans to give us the best possible experience, whether that meant staying longer at a sighting or changing routes to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. His passion for his work was evident every single day, and it made a huge difference in how much we enjoyed the trip.

Beyond his expertise, Andrew was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. He made us feel comfortable throughout the long drives and remote areas, and we always felt completely safe and well taken care of.

This safari exceeded all of our expectations, and we are truly grateful to Andrew and Serengeti Wakanda for such an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Mother and child safari experience was 10/10
5/5

My son (10M) and I (33F) did a 6 day safari circuit through Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. I would highly recommend this company to all travellers and particularly any parents travelling with children. Aishwarya made the planning seamless and assisted us every step of the way, including being available via WhatsApp to confirm airport transfers during travel when flights were delayed. Our tour guide Zepher was knowledgeable, kind and made my son and I feel super comfortable. He assisted with wildlife spotting and we saw some truly amazing sights, including the big 5 and the Wildebeest migration. As a mother travelling alone with my son, safety was of the utmost importance to me. Serengeti Wakanda chose accommodations where we felt safe and secure on our journey.

It’s a 10/10 experience, did not want to return back home!
5/5

It has been one of the best trip in Tanzania, the hospitality here is just top notched!! Truly one for the keeps! I went there with my sisters and brother-in-law and we had such an enjoyable time, we didn’t want to leave!

My sister was the one that liased with Aishwarya and she has been so forthcoming to help us throughout our plans for this trip.

On the first day, we had a short hike up on Mt Kilimanjaro with Samuel (guide), Arnold (junior guide) and Fabien (driver). He shared the history and lots of interesting facts , accompanied by his good vibes.

Then the remaining of the trip, we did a 7 day safari circuit through Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris, with Andrew! With his years of expertise, he managed to bring us up close to the animals, so versatile with his plans just so that he could bring about the best experience to us. His way to narrate stories of Tanzania captivated our hearts through good sense of humour. Even made us coffee though he is not a coffee drinker. Abdullah and his wife also prepared meals for our picnic lunches daily. We definitely appreciate that!

For the tribe experience, we had Musa that took us on this journey, it was a wild one! Hah, we even managed to run along with the tribes there!

Can I also mentioned the hospitality at all our accommodations?! Under the Shade Safari, Ngorongoro Mareira Mountain View Lodge, Lala Salama Camp, Moonbow Lodge & Kibo Palace Hotel. We were greeted by Jumbo Bwana, nice food, great company and warmth in all the places we went!

Everyone we met along the way, gave the best Tanzanian hospitality. Our safety and comfort was very much assured. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back again!! We loved it!! 💕

Highly knowledgeable guide, going above and beyond
5/5

As two female travellers safety was very important to us and Wakanda took this seriously from the outset. We had such an incredible time from beginning to end with a great level of communication from Beatrice our point of contact. Zepha our guide was reliable and very knowledgable, knowing all the great angles to ensure some good views of each park and the big 5. We even got to see the wildebeest migration! Thank you so much for organising a trip of a lifetime!

Perfect tour start to finish
5/5

With so many tour companies it can be challenging to decide which company to confirm. Serengeti Wakanda was an obvious choice for us from the start due to the incredible communication and ability to tailor a safari itinerary to exactly how we wanted it. Aishwarya was our point of communication and she was very organised and reliable. Once arriving in Tanzania, Joshua picked us up from the Airport, helped us sort phone plans and provided a tonne of local knowledge for our trip. From there we met our guide, Julius and our chef Sulle. There aren’t enough words to describe how much we loved our tour with Julius and Sulle. We felt safe with our guide the whole time and he ensured we had great game drives each time, seeing a huge variety of animals. Not only was he informative, professional and caring, Julius was also fun and we got along very well as a group. Sulle made the most incredible meals and also felt like another member of our family.
10/10 experience and one I will definitely recommend to any friend or family planning a trip to Tanzania. Thank you Serengeti Wakanda.

5/5

Serengeti wakanda tours were amazing. They were arranging everything exactly the way we wanted and even more. We did the 5 days northern circuit safari. Our tourguide was awesome and very proffesional. He did the very best to show us the big five and gave us good position for taking pictures.
We would highly recommand wakanda tours to everybody who wants to have a great safari.

Everything was awesome. The city tour, the waterfalls in the Meru Park, the one-day safari in Ngorongoro and the accommodation. A luxury service with backpacker budget! Definitely I recommend them! Don't hesitate!

THE BIG 4!! Can't ask for much more than that!!
5/5

Carlson and Bartho are the guys running Wakanda. They could not have been nicer and more helpfull. From arranging  (and included in the safari price) accomodation (night before and night after) , picking me up at the airport (such a relief not having to think about that one!) helpfull tips before I set off, everything!! In all fairness I didn't have a great budget, and it was 22h and I was trying to go on safari the next morning, and they still managed everything perfectly for me!!!
Six of us set off in a jeep, we all had window seats, which doesn't really matter because all the jeeps have hatch tops, so the minute you see something everyone is standing anyway.  Bottled water was included in the price (which isn't the norm, so keep an eye out).
I had chosen 1 day in Tarangire, 3 in the Serengueti and 1 in Ngorongoro. We did 1 night at a lodge and 3 were in camp sites, which was great because of wild life walking around at night.
It's all super safe, our guide knew where to go and we saw more animals than we could of ever asked for.
Carlson and Bartho kept in contact with me, which is kind of impossible, but when we passed through the gates of the parks we got a few mins of wifi and a message from them. And of course they were there to receive me on arrival.
As a tip, defo bring binoculars (or rent there), always use local currency when travelling, but I think in this case it's best to travel with us dollars for the payment of the safari  (they will apply the correct and up to date exchange rate) (and not old bills, best with recent date on bills). Everything else we payed in shillings.
Wakanga have a load of different options for different budgets. You get what you pay for and I always ask people not to try and haggle prices way down, since the park fees are high, and the team has to be payed.
I would suggest to contact Carlson and Bartho for any queries, because they are just so lovely they will help you with anything they can!!!
Good luck travellers!!!
