Great, very helpful
Great deals and Janine is very helpful. I loved the fact that they also included a list of what to pack to make sure you are ready for anything and have a great experience too. The lodge was amazing, good welcome by the staff. Overall I had an amazing time, staff takes care of you, whatever you want, they are super nice, just amazing. I'll definitely use Gems of Africa a lot.

Awesome service and quick response and more affordable than other operators.
I was very happy from start to finish with all the arrangements.
a few days before we went to Mabula we were contacted again and reminded.
They also hoped that we would have a good break.
That we did indeed! Was a much needed very enjoyable 3nights 4day stay.

Great company
We booked our safari tour with Gems of Africa Safari & Tours. We worked with Janine. From the first communication to the final result the experience was superb. Janine was able to find us a great price for the lodge in the Pilanesberg National Park. She helped us to book the transfer from the airport on the first day and a return transfer plus tour on the last day. It was so easy to communicate with her. Of course, we had a lot of questions/concern because it was our first visit to South Africa. Janine always provided us detailed answers, and she responded to all emails right away. She provided us all the details for our travel. When we arrived, everything went without any problems. The driver met us at the airport, the lodge was ready for our arrival. The return transfer went as promised as well. We are more than happy with our experience with Gems of Africa Safari & Tours and with Janine. We definitely recommend them to everyone who is planning to visit South Africa.

Fantastic safari experience for family with young children!
We are a big family traveling with 6 young children. We were concerned about finding a good fit for our safari. With Janine’s help, we were able to find the perfect safari for our family! The children had a wonderful time, as did we adults! We loved the food, the lodge and the safari drives! Everything went smoothly, and the people we met and worked with were fantastic! We highly recommend booking your safari here!

The service was brilliant and the lodge had thought of every little detail to make the stay perfect. All emails were answered quickly, professionally and helpfully. We had plenty of questions about options and they tailored the package that was right for us. Would highly recommend.

Couldn't be better!
Great customer service! It couldn't have been easier to plan and book-Andre was very, very helpful. We also SAVED money by booking through Gems of Africa vs. directly through the game reserve. We enjoyed the safari tour greatly and my parents (who were initially skeptical about everything) were very, very pleased and impressed.

Unfortunately the tour operator Gems of Africa went into Liquidation giving us only two days notice
Dream of taking our family of 6 on safari ruined as Tour Operator Gems of Africa went into liquidation without fully paying the Safari Reserve despite us paying the final balance to them two months in advance. Unfortunately this only came to light two days prior to us due to going on the Safari when we were notified by the Liquidator that our booking ha been cancelled. Need to be vary and next time would look to book directly.
