Great experience and deal!
5/5

All the trip happened as planned. The owner was very nice and the drivers and guide were great and able to spot animals from far away. I went to Mikumi NP with them and Camp Bastian was an excellent place where to stay (situated out of the NP). The deal offered by Hello Tanzania was better than the one proposed by many other operators and was worth it.

Flexible and accomodating
5/5

I was in Morogoro for 5 weeks project and Hello Tanzania set up a solo 3 day safari that fit my schedule. On both days at Mikuni we saw female lions. All the other animals were in abundant display. Abdullah the Driver Gilbert the Mikumi guide, and Freddie the Udzungwa Falls guide were very pleasant and knowledgeable making the tours very enjoyable. A nice break from my work.

Great Safari at Mikumi and Udzungwa!
5/5

We had a great time on our tour of Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa!

We booked a three-day safari leaving from Dar Es Salaam. Two days before the safari, Mwajabu, the owner, arranged for us to be picked up by the driver, Athman, who is her brother. It was a nice touch and saved us on the taxi fare to the hotel. She met with us that evening to conduct a pre-safari briefing and to provide the final payment. She explained the itinerary, asked if we needed any special services or changes. There had been some miscommunication and apparently the final payment needed to be in cash so that they could pay for the park fees. Mwajabu and Athman gladly took us to the nearest ATM.

On the morning of the Safari, Athman picked us up and provided us peanuts and juice for breakfast. We drove directly to Mikumi, which was a five hour drive. The roads in Tanzania is quite challenging, but Athman handles it like a pro. After checking in at the park office, we started on our safari with another couple. We were joined by our guide, Gilbert. Athman drove around the park expertly, while Gilbert was hard at work on his phone getting leads from other guides. We started with a view of many impala, warthogs, zebra, wildebeest and zebra. Then, Gilbert got a call with "good news". We drove toward the good news and ran into some elephants on the way. The good news turned out to be two lionesses and their freshly killed wildebeest lunch. We were able to really get up close to to one of the lionesses, which was napping just 5 feet from our land cruiser.

After seeing the lions we headed to a restaurant in the park for lunch. Lunch was some tasty chicken. Outside the restaurant a marabou stork and some monkeys were hanging out. The rest of the day was spent driving around cm viewing many elephants, zebras, and giraffes.

After a long day we headed to Camp Bastian, where we would be staying overnight. At Camp Bastian, we were welcomed with refreshing glasses of avocado mango juice. Camp Bastian is very cute and had about a dozen cabins surrounded by beautiful gardens. The cabins were private and cute with en suite bathrooms. Dinner was served outside by candlelight and started with soup with a main of a delicious curry and rice. Alcohol was available at the bar. During dinner they took out breakfast order (omelet or pancakes) and asked us when we would like it served.

We got up for breakfast around 6:30 the next day. Breakfast was delicious and served with coffee from a French press. We then got on the road to Udzungwa. The road was mostly dirt and rutted, but again, Athman handled it like a pro. We arrived at Udzungwa and we were joined by a guide from the park. The guide was quite knowledgeable about the plants in park. We hiked a couple of hours up into the mountains and the views were spectacular. We had lunch on the top of a waterfall overlooking a beautiful view if the plains below. Lunch was a packed lunch of chicken, veggie sandwiches, banana, boiled egg, and chapati. We hiked down to a pool where people could swim though we elected not to do so ourselves. While we didn't see a lot of animals in the park, we did see a lot of beautiful butterflies and for to see a couple different kinds of monkeys.

On the last day, we went back to Mikumi and saw many giraffes, elephants, zebra impala, crocodiles, buffalo, hippos, and jackals. It was a lot of fun.

We then headed back to Dar Es Salaam. Unfortunately, we got to the city right in the midst of rush hour and it took more than 7 hours to get to our hotel. Athman never lost his cool despite the horrible traffic. Despite dropping us off at the hotel after 10 pm, Athman gladly arrived at 3:30 in the morning to take us to the airport.

We really enjoyed our safari and wholeheartedly would recommend Hello Tanzania to anyone looking for a safari in Tanzania. Thank you Mwajabu, Athman, and Gilbert!

Good value day trip
4/5

I booked a day trip to Mikumi national park, where the car departed very early in the morning. It was of good value as it included everything: transport, park fees, lunch, snacks and guide. The driver was good and fun. Overall had a good experience, got to see most of the animals and big five in the park even though lions were hard to spot. The guide didn't speak English very well, so most of the time it was left to our guessing what was going on. One suggestion is that the guide should be more professional and can communicate better.

Hello Tanzania
5/5

These were truly two of the most beautiful and unforgettable days of our lives. Our safari in Mikumi National Park with Hello Tanzania and Mrs. Sylwia exceeded all of our expectations and will stay in our hearts forever.
Throughout the entire trip we were accompanied by a Maasai guide, Noah (warm greetings to you!), who not only shared stories about his culture, but also made us truly feel the spirit of Tanzania and see life from a completely different perspective. On the first day we visited a Maasai village, where we learned how to make fire using traditional methods, danced together, and discovered the everyday customs and lifestyle of the Maasai people. It was an incredibly authentic, emotional, and positive experience.
In the afternoon we went on a safari drive through Mikumi National Park. Seeing wild animals so close was absolutely breathtaking — giraffes, lions, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeests, and monkeys in their natural habitat. One of the most magical moments was when a family of elephants walked right next to our vehicle, and a baby elephant gently brushed me with its trunk. It was such an emotional and unforgettable moment. Every second in the park filled us with excitement and admiration for nature.
In the evening we enjoyed a campfire under the stars. The silence of the bush mixed with the sounds of wild animals and the overnight stay in lodges located inside the park created an unforgettable atmosphere. Listening to the sounds of African wildlife during the night was something truly magical.
The most extraordinary experience, however, was the early morning safari at sunrise. There was practically nobody else in the park, which allowed us to fully feel the true wildness and beauty of Africa. Near the hippo pool we were even able to get out of the vehicle and observe the animals from closer distance. After breakfast we continued our safari drive and once again had incredible luck — we saw lions from very close range. It was a moment that literally took our breath away.
Thank you to Hello Tanzania for the perfect organization, wonderful atmosphere, and an experience we will never forget. If anyone dreams of a real safari, authentic emotions, and an unforgettable adventure, we recommend this trip with all our hearts. These are memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. 🦁

The review below is the personal opinion of Boguslaw Solski and not that of SafariBookings.
We felt cheated, he accepted payments but did not carry out the safari.
1/5

Wild Hello Tanzania is not reliable from our experience. They defrauded and abandoned a group of 16 people on safari in Tanzania. The owner fled the hotel at dawn with all her money. She didn't pay for hotels, cars, or entrance fees to the Ngoro Ngoro and Serengeti Ndutu parks. Although they received full payment for the entire group, they didn't have the money to cover the fees. We had to pay for everything again—cars, hotel, game reserve entrance fees, meals. We had to organize everything ourselves.

They owe me nearly $20,000. They refuse to pay, cheat, and manipulate. I warn you against these people and their companies.
This case is from February 2026.

They have defrauded many people, and the police are investigating in Tanzania and Poland. They operate illegally under different names.
I'm not writing this anonymously; these are facts, not fabrications. I definitely don't recommend them. There are many other honest companies.

The statements published above are incomplete, one-sided and contain numerous false allegations regarding both the safari itself and the financial settlement.

The safari program was partially carried out. Both I and my local team continued organizing accommodation, vehicles, activities and logistics throughout the safari. The client and the group had organizational support during the entire trip. At the same time, I would like to clarify that my agreement and direct communication concerned only the person publishing these accusations, not the entire group, therefore I do not know what information was presented to the other participants.

The author of the post also omits important facts, including that some previously confirmed accommodations were cancelled due to significant delays in payments despite the payment schedule agreed in the contract. The first payment was made approximately 10 days late, while the second payment was delayed by over one month. As a result, some reservations had to be rebooked at significantly higher prices during the peak migration season in Tanzania.

It was also omitted that part of the outstanding amounts has already been settled and that the remaining financial settlement is currently being handled through formal channels.

This is a civil contractual dispute regarding the settlement of costs related to a partially completed safari program, not “fraud” within the meaning of criminal law. I remain in possession of documentation, the contract, payment records and correspondence confirming the course of cooperation and safari organization.

At the same time, I inform that legal steps have already been taken in connection with the ongoing harassment of myself, members of my family and friends, the publication of false information, damage to my reputation, and attempts to pressure and extort payment of a higher amount through reputational threats and intimidation.

I will not continue discussing this matter publicly. The case will be handled exclusively through formal and legal channels.

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

I had an incredible experience booking my safari through SafariBookings. The platform made it very easy to compare different tour operators, itineraries, and prices all in one place. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for without any confusion.

The communication with the tour operator was smooth and professional from the beginning. They answered all my questions quickly and helped me customize the trip according to my preferences. Everything was well-organized, from airport pickup to accommodation and daily game drives.

The safari itself was unforgettable. We saw a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. The lodges were comfortable, clean, and offered great food.

Before planning my trip, I was also checking some travel-related information online, and I came across https://tmschecktz.com/
which had useful insights that helped me prepare better, especially for Tanzania-related info.

What I appreciated the most was how stress-free the whole process was. SafariBookings really helped simplify the planning, and the experience exceeded my expectations.
