Best views and VIP treatment at a budget price!
We were looking for a 5 or 7 day safari trip for our family of three (2 adults and a 10 yo) at a reasonable price. I've found Lenchada safaris operator while googling and sent them a request via WhatsApp. They were replying to all of my questions explaining the differences. We agreed on a 7 day tour including Maasai-Mara, lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha and the boat ride, Hell's gate National park and Amboseli national park. We had a 4x4 Toyota Landcruiser jeep with an open rooftop and wi-fi available on board which was amazing!
But the most important thing, we had THE MOST AMAZING guide - Moses! 🤩🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Moses went far and beyond in getting us to the most desirable spots to see the wild animals. We got the Big Five and The Ugly five in just 2 days, the pictures we made were surreal, we couldn't believe our eyes how close we got to lions, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, leopard, cheetahs, elephants and etc.
Every new location we visited was worth it and offered a completely different experience and views, that were mesmerising.
With Moses we were always the first to get to the best spot, sometimes there were noone around, just as and the wildlife. He made sure we are as close as possible to see the best scenes of the wild.
I think our pictures speak for themselves and keep in mind we took them onto our smartphones, no professional cameras, that's how close we were to the animals.
If you're still in doubt whether to book with Lenchada - don't be, BOOK ASAP! These guys know how to make your safari trip worth it! I'm sure all their guides are knowledgeable, but if you're getting Moses as your guide, rest assured - you're getting to see each and every animal that is out there! Moses works in the safari business for almost 15 years already and you can tell that, he knows a lot of facts about wildlife and tells them along the way!

💵 P.S. they offer different options, not only budget, but comfort and up, so it's only up to you and your wallet to decide. But on the budget ones we had, every stay was comfortable and the staff was very welcoming.

Lots of fun and a very professional team!
Our experience with Lenchada was great. Collins always answered my emails promptly and gave me all the necessary information. They pick you up at your place, so you don't need to worry about anything. Dickson was the best driver and guide we could have asked for! Very knowledgeable, experienced and caring, he made our experience unforgettable. We were able to see the big five and learn lots of fun facts about the beautiful animals. It was an experience I will never forget.

All arrangements were perfect and our guide was superb!
We went with Lenchada safaris based on online recommendations and we were not disappointed! It is a very reasonably priced safari but all the arrangements were first-class and perfect. From hotel bookings, to all the meals through the 5 days, to transfers from hotel to safari and drop to airport, everything was managed very smoothly. Huge thanks to Alex and team for the great arrangements.
But what made our safari experience really wonderful was our excellent, knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide and driver Kikitu Douglas. He went well over and above, making sure we were able to see and experience everything that Masai Mara, Naivasha, and Nakuru had to offer. He always had a joke and a smile throughout the 4 days we spent in his car. Very thankful to Lenchada team and Kikitu for a really memorable 5 days in Kenya!

Great safari experience!
Great first safari experience with Lenchada safaris and Andrew as our guide! He was super knowledgeable about the things we saw on our drive when we asked him questions. If you want to know something, just ask him!
The first day evening drive was my personal favorite. Throughout the trip, we saw tons of animals - elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, leopard, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and more! It’s important to remember that we’re in nature and it’s impossible to predict what animals you’ll see, so be nice to your guide and enjoy the ride through nature, regardless if you see big 5 or not :)
Lenchada camp was wonderful! Helen took care of us and helped us get hot water running when we had trouble - she was such a joy to chat with! The food at the camp was delicious and simple. Lots of beans/lentils and rice. Tented camps had an adjoining shower and bathroom.
Tiny cons (to be expected for a budget safari, not a big issue at all) : The packed lunch on the second day left a bit to be desired so I’d recommend bringing some extra food if you get hungry. Our safari vehicle had definitely seen better days, but it didn’t impact our trip too much.
Overall, would highly recommend this safari for budget travelers - it was WAY better than I expected and we had an unforgettable experience.
