A super friendly, remote and luxurious encounter with wildlife in a beautiful environment
Our safari to Lower Zambezi National Park organized by Wilderness Horizon Safaris was an unforgettable experience!
Eva supported us with finding the most suited package for our wishes. She also supported with organizing the payment, which is reliable (for all foreigners being a bit hesitant to send a sum of money to a Zambian account ;) ) and worked well.
Our guide David was both extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. He was able to search the tracks to see a variety of beautiful animals in their natural environment. Supported by the chef he also aranged several delicious picknicks in the park. The landscape of the park is so beautiful and diverse, changing constantly in appearance. It feels relatively remote, which adds to the adventurous experience of being truly deep in the wilderness. Add elephants, hippos, impalas, crocodiles and lions to the mix and you won't believe your eyes. We were even lucky enough to encounter the wild dogs.
The lodge makes you feel completely at home, very comfortable (we concluded best bed in the world) and with a staff that goes the extra mile in everything they do. Don't forget to put off the lights at night, the view on the milky way is stunning.
Basically, we were sad to leave. Everyone interested in a safari, we would definitely recommend to book via Wilderness Horizon Safaris!

Very reliable tour operator
Very professional and reliable company. Perfect organization and services. They booked everything for us, including domestic flights. We visited Lower Zambesi, Kafue and South Luangwa parks, and the Victoria Falls at the end. We were constantly in touch with Eva of the agency, and always supported for the entire duration of the tour.
Nice lodges, particularly Mopani Lodge.
The guides on the game drives were prepared and professional.
Good value for money.
Wonderful tour in a wonderful country.

All promises were delivered
We enjoyed every single minute of our safari. The lodge recommended was absolute perfection, we were treated like royalty. South Luangwa National Park has amazing wildlife and everything scheduled ran as planned. Absolute satisfaction, except for the fact that our guide spent a lot of time texting on his cell rather than advising us on wildlife. He may have missed some elusive cats because he was more concerned with his personal cell.

EXCELLENT !!!!
EXCELLENT
I'm a freelance guide who passionately accompanies groups of friends around the world. I had the opportunity to work and organize a trip to Zambia with the support of WHS. It's a small agency that passionately organizes safaris in Zambia and other countries. In addition to supporting the local community, it's also very attentive to ecological aspects and respect for the environment. I greatly appreciated their services and their flawless organization, with affordable and sustainable prices. Eva, my contact for the trip, was always attentive to my and our needs, and she, with great patience and passion, helped me make this trip unforgettable for the group of friends I accompanied. I also thank all the guides, drivers, and staff who proved to be up to the task. We spent three nights at the Lower Zambezi Lodge, where we admired the extraordinary and unforgettable landscape of "True Africa." We then spent another three nights at the Mopani Lodge in South Luangwa. This, too, was an unforgettable experience. We observed so many animals in the park, and it's perhaps the place in all of Africa where I've had the best and most spectacular time admiring leopards. All in all, a truly extraordinary trip.
I highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Zambia to contact WHS.

our first time visiting the South Luangwa national park, I never thought it would be possible to travel within our budget as a family. we had a lovely experience to top it all wilderness horizon offered us a very friendly and exceptional service and i must say they also have very good staff who are knowledgeable on different bird species and animals indigenous to Zambia and Africa. Everything worked according to our expectations and plan.

Fabulous 2 Day Canoe Trip on the Zambezi River
The whole trip was amazing - especially given my luggage did not turn up and we needed to postpone the start of the trip by one day. Everything got rebooked and whole trip went like clockwork. David from Wilderness Horizons was there 5:30 am promptly and it was smooth sailing .... The canoes, camping equipment, food etc. couldn't have been better. I was so happy that Wilderness Safaris could tailor make my trip for just me on the dates wanted. I went on the trip as the lone female and felt perfectly safe and looked after. Would definitely recommend them and most of all will be contacting Wilderness Safaris for my next trip to Zambia - which I hope is very soon!!!
