An Unforgettable 9-Day Safari in Uganda
5/5

We (My husband and I) traveled to Uganda for a 9-day safari with Kajie Safaris, and it exceeded all of our expectations in every possible way. Ronald, the manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He handled all of our requests with great care and professionalism, making everything smooth and stress-free from the very beginning.

Our trip was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful guide, Baluku. He was not only friendly and funny, but also exceptionally professional and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure every single one of our wishes was fulfilled without any issues.

We would highly recommend Kajie Safaris to anyone looking for a truly exceptional safari experience.

Outstanding Experience with Kajie Safaris – Exceptional Guide Timothy
5/5

Our recent trip to Uganda was nothing short of extraordinary, and Kajie Safaris played a central role in making it so memorable.

From the initial planning phase to the final day of our journey, the level of professionalism and customer service was impeccable. The team carefully listened to our requirements and designed a truly tailor-made safari that perfectly matched our expectations. The itinerary was thoughtfully structured, well-paced, and flawlessly organized. It was clear throughout that Kajie Safaris operates with high standards and a genuine customer-oriented mindset.

A special mention goes to our driver and tour guide, Timothy. He was with us for the entire trip and quickly became much more than a guide. Timothy is an exceptional professional with a warm, calm personality and an impressive sense of responsibility. He was always punctual — never once late — and managed the schedule with precision, ensuring we arrived at every destination comfortably and on time.

His standards of hygiene, both personally and in maintaining the vehicle, were excellent. The vehicle was consistently clean and well-prepared each day. Safety and security were clearly a priority for him, and we felt completely at ease throughout the journey.

What truly sets Timothy apart is his patience, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile without ever being asked. He was always ready to assist, answer questions, share insights about Uganda’s wildlife and culture, and adapt where needed. His deep knowledge of the country, combined with his approachable and friendly nature, transformed our trip into something genuinely special.

Without Timothy, the experience would simply not have been the same. He brought the journey to life and turned wonderful moments into lasting memories. He is a true ambassador for Kajie Safaris and for Uganda.

We highly recommend Kajie Safaris to anyone looking for a professional, well-organized, and customer-focused safari experience in Uganda.

Absolutely amazing and even better than expected!
5/5

As a group, we went on a 10-day safari in January/February and visited the national parks at Murchinson Falls and Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Buyoni, Bwindi, and Kigale. It was incredible to get so close to the animals, especially on the walking safaris and the to see the chimpanzees and gorillas. A wonderful experience that I can absolutely recommend. Kaje Safaris put together a great itinerary for us and offered us many inexpensive extra activities (e.g., a village visit in Kigale and a visit to the Batwa in Bwindi), which were great.
We were very happy with our guide Collin. He showed us lots of animals and told us all about them, often made us laugh, and mastered even the bumpiest roads with ease. Thank you very much, Collin, and thank you to Kaje for these great experiences! 🫶🏻

We came to see animals- but left fallen in love with the people and the country
5/5

Uganda was trip with high expectations from our side. First time on the African continent, first time with a a tour operator and a guide to plan our journey.
After an extensive research, we get a pretty good idea what we wanted to see and with whom we wanted to do the trip.
The reviews for Kajie were great, so we decided to give it a try - and they delivered a world class service, Including every idea we had in our trip, always responding quick, very transparent in the pricing, and very flexible, and always friendly.
So we felt in good hands starting the trip.
Arriving in Entebbe on our 15 day trip all these high expectations have not only been matched, they have been surpassed dramatically.
And you cant talk about exceeding expectations without speaking about one guy Andrew Murari. Andrew is just ticking all boxes you can expect, an excellent driver through all the difficult conditions, we have been challenged with, and expert for every animal you can encounter, and we did encounter many. Fluent in many languages, equipped with a great network to get the best out of every game drive and lunch stop. Andrew has a combination of being ambitious, stubborn and patient which results in making sure you not going home with without seeing every single thing you wanted to see, even if you start to loose hope, he will never give up.
He is great teacher and ambassador for his country giving you the right mix of knowledge about country and people without feeling beeing in a lecture. But most important he is a great human being, respectful, reliable and incredible funny. It will be 100% not our last trip with him, and when you want to make the same experience ask for him.
The lodges where amazing and we would love to stays for a longer time in every of them. Kidepo Savannah Lodge has been our a favourite, as Kidepo was our favorite region and park in Uganda. But KaJie also surprised us with an upgrade to Buffalo Safari Lodge in QNP which was an awesome experience. So the review comes to an end and we have still not mentioning animals. So even without all the encounter it would be a great trip but, being close to baby gorillas and a silverback, walking with giraffes and rhinos, spotting leopards, and lions, seeing a pyhton eating and antelope, being among chimpanzees and golden monkeys. If you want to have the journey of a lifetime go to Uganda book with Katje and drive with Andrew. Thank you for giving us this experience.

We came for the animals, we left with memories for life
5/5

We booked a private safari in Uganda with this agency and it exceeded every expectation. Our guide Eddie was absolutely outstanding — friendly, incredibly safe behind the wheel, and with an eagle eye for spotting wildlife we would have never noticed on our own.

What really set him apart was his passion for sharing his country: from animal behavior and local agriculture to music and culture, every drive felt like a living classroom. He was also wonderfully attentive to all our requests throughout the trip.

The accommodations were top-notch, and the whole experience was seamlessly organized. This is a trip we will never forget. Highly recommended!

Five stars are simply not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5/5

We spent two unforgettable weeks traveling through Uganda, and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of the journey.

One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see an astonishing variety of animals up close, creating memories that will stay with us forever. Every day brought new adventures and exciting experiences.

Throughout the entire trip, we always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The hospitality we encountered everywhere was simply outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. The warmth and friendliness of the people made this journey even more special.

A very special thank you goes to our guide, Baluku. He was knowledgeable, professional, and great fun to be around. His enthusiasm, sense of humor, and dedication made the trip even more enjoyable, and we shared countless laughs along the way.

The itinerary was packed with wonderful activities, ensuring that every day was interesting and rewarding. The organization was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.

This was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. We would not hesitate for a second to book exactly the same trip again and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Uganda.

Amazing, incredible, marvelous Uganda…
5/5

We visited Uganda with the 11-day tour organized by Kajie Safaris in July 2018.

When we chose Kajie Safaris, the criteria were: price, reliability, positive feedback and lack of negative impressions among tourists, as well as quick answers to E-mail inquiries, flexibility in discussing the program.

Ronald Muvunyi worked with us. He met us at the airport and then accompanied him along the entire route both as a guide, as a driver, as an translator, and as a friend. He is a man with remarkable organizational skills, friendly, cheerful, with a fine sense of humor. We were very easy and interesting with him. We enjoyed our trip!

During the tour, we wanted to change the program a little. Ronald graciously helped to correct the route, rescheduled the hotels.

When traveling is organized by people who love and know their business - they are sure to succeed!

We were just fascinated by Uganda. The next visit to Africa will be planned only with Kajie Safaris!

We wish you all a pleasant journey and a vivid impressions,
Sergii and Lana.

Amazing experience in amazing Uganda!
5/5

This was an amazing trip to amazing Uganda with excellent guide Ronald, who was very informative, helpful and communicative, great service in the car (plenty of drinking water, cold beverages, wifi). During our trip we stopped at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and saw many rhinos up-close, then moved to the Murchison Falls National Park with its eye-catching landscape, many animals to see (including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo) with few tourists around, took boat ride on the river Nile (about 2 hours) and hiked up to the amazing Murchison Falls (took us about 40 minutes, it can be a bit exhausting so take some water). Then we went on a scenic drive through Uganda to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. We saw less animals here than in Murchison Falls, but more animals up-close on our boat ride on the Kazinga channel, which took for about 2 hours.
We highly recommend Kajie Safaris as your tour operator and the Murchison Falls National Park as one of your destinations if you plan a trip to Uganda!
