Five stars are simply not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5/5

We spent two unforgettable weeks traveling through Uganda, and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of the journey.

One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see an astonishing variety of animals up close, creating memories that will stay with us forever. Every day brought new adventures and exciting experiences.

Throughout the entire trip, we always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The hospitality we encountered everywhere was simply outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. The warmth and friendliness of the people made this journey even more special.

A very special thank you goes to our guide, Baluku. He was knowledgeable, professional, and great fun to be around. His enthusiasm, sense of humor, and dedication made the trip even more enjoyable, and we shared countless laughs along the way.

The itinerary was packed with wonderful activities, ensuring that every day was interesting and rewarding. The organization was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.

This was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. We would not hesitate for a second to book exactly the same trip again and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Uganda.

We came for the animals, we left with memories for life
5/5

We booked a private safari in Uganda with this agency and it exceeded every expectation. Our guide Eddie was absolutely outstanding — friendly, incredibly safe behind the wheel, and with an eagle eye for spotting wildlife we would have never noticed on our own.

What really set him apart was his passion for sharing his country: from animal behavior and local agriculture to music and culture, every drive felt like a living classroom. He was also wonderfully attentive to all our requests throughout the trip.

The accommodations were top-notch, and the whole experience was seamlessly organized. This is a trip we will never forget. Highly recommended!

Incredible, perfect!
5/5

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Kajie Safaris — from the very first email to the full planning process, everything was smooth, professional, and exceeded our expectations. During the trip itself, everything ran perfectly, and it was clear how carefully every detail had been thought through. The lodges and activities were all perfectly chosen.

A special thank you to our guide, Eddie. He was outstanding — always friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and generous in sharing insights about wildlife, nature, and the country. His driving was consistently careful and made us feel safe at all times.

And honestly — he is a master at spotting animals! His eye is unbelievable. He would find wildlife we would have never seen ourselves, making every game drive exciting and memorable.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Good
5/5

Quite a good experience.
- Safari guide was very helpful and flexible. Thanks to that flexibility the quality of experience can vary quite a bit by the choice that the traveler makes. Perhaps what could be improved is to communicate available options and their experience value more clearly.
- We relieably saw everything we were supposed to see and managed to squeeze in a few extras.
- We had mid-range or upper mid-range lodges. I think they were good enough and by paying much is mostly pointless for most travelers unless they are very demanding. Some evenings it was nice to have nice lodge to relax but overall the time spent in lodges was quite limited.
- Uganda itself is quite a good value for money and has gorillas and chimps on top.

Some tips:
- Balance taking time looking at animals and birds that You do find and rushing around trying to see something better which can become exhausting after a while. We spent quite a bit of time chasing leopard, but perhaps a bit too long. Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth park had predator tracking tour available (big cats wear trackers around neck) which make locating them easy if You choose to go on this tour. It costs over 200 euros per person but I think it is worth it.
- At least 1 night game drive is good to have as it is different experience.
- Try to step out of car few km before your gorilla lodge and walk up to the lodge. The views are good.
- We managed to squeeze in shoebill sighting on the last day's afternoon and got a very good view of a shoebill.
- Kampala is worth visiting couple of days, but it can be a bit scary for traveler not used to chaos of developing country city.
- Drink as much Divine Bushera as You can.

Really the Pearl of Africa
5/5

We spent 10 days in Uganda with Kajie Safari. In particular with Arafat as our guide, and the experience exceeded all expectations. His extensive knowledge of the country, its national parks, and its traditions enriched every part of our journey.
Arafat stood out for his kindness, calm attitude, and ability to anticipate our needs. Always punctual, organized, and incredibly helpful, he turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.
We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Uganda.

An amazing trip that will stay with me forever!
5/5

Firstly, I was a female solo traveller that had never done this type of trip before.

I chose the 11 day trip with Kajie Safaris.

I primarily chose Uganda because I wanted to experience and see the mountain gorillas. I did not really know what to expect other than I would see amazing wildlife. I chose this company from the reviews and also how they replied to my emails so promptly and how friendly the replies were.
I was blown away by the service I received. I had my own driver called Arafat…. who was amazing, so knowledgeable, friendly and as a solo female I felt exceptionally safe. I would 110% recommend this company and Arafat…..

The accommodation was exceptional and the food was always a very high standard. The staff at the lodges were always friendly, helpful and had great smiles!

I am still on a high from all my experiences and would highly recommend Uganda and Kajie Safaris as a place to visit and create amazing memories !

Thank you Kajie Safaries and also Arafat !!

We came to see animals- but left fallen in love with the people and the country
5/5

Uganda was trip with high expectations from our side. First time on the African continent, first time with a a tour operator and a guide to plan our journey.
After an extensive research, we get a pretty good idea what we wanted to see and with whom we wanted to do the trip.
The reviews for Kajie were great, so we decided to give it a try - and they delivered a world class service, Including every idea we had in our trip, always responding quick, very transparent in the pricing, and very flexible, and always friendly.
So we felt in good hands starting the trip.
Arriving in Entebbe on our 15 day trip all these high expectations have not only been matched, they have been surpassed dramatically.
And you cant talk about exceeding expectations without speaking about one guy Andrew Murari. Andrew is just ticking all boxes you can expect, an excellent driver through all the difficult conditions, we have been challenged with, and expert for every animal you can encounter, and we did encounter many. Fluent in many languages, equipped with a great network to get the best out of every game drive and lunch stop. Andrew has a combination of being ambitious, stubborn and patient which results in making sure you not going home with without seeing every single thing you wanted to see, even if you start to loose hope, he will never give up.
He is great teacher and ambassador for his country giving you the right mix of knowledge about country and people without feeling beeing in a lecture. But most important he is a great human being, respectful, reliable and incredible funny. It will be 100% not our last trip with him, and when you want to make the same experience ask for him.
The lodges where amazing and we would love to stays for a longer time in every of them. Kidepo Savannah Lodge has been our a favourite, as Kidepo was our favorite region and park in Uganda. But KaJie also surprised us with an upgrade to Buffalo Safari Lodge in QNP which was an awesome experience. So the review comes to an end and we have still not mentioning animals. So even without all the encounter it would be a great trip but, being close to baby gorillas and a silverback, walking with giraffes and rhinos, spotting leopards, and lions, seeing a pyhton eating and antelope, being among chimpanzees and golden monkeys. If you want to have the journey of a lifetime go to Uganda book with Katje and drive with Andrew. Thank you for giving us this experience.

Kajie Safaris combines great guides, beautiful lodges, and perfect planning for an amazing safari.
5/5

Our 11-day safari took us from the Mabamba Swamps near Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, and via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary back to Entebbe.

Throughout the trip we were constantly amazed by the incredible variety of wildlife and the breathtaking landscapes Uganda has to offer. Combined with the welcoming warmth of the staff at the carefully selected lodges and the kindness of the Ugandan people in general, it creates a truly special travel experience.

The absolute highlight of our trip – and probably of all Uganda – was the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Sitting just a few meters away from a gorilla family and observing them quietly in their natural habitat was an unforgettable and deeply moving experience.

Eddie and the team at Kajie did an outstanding job making this trip perfect for us. From selecting beautiful lodges and organizing little surprises for our honeymoon to driving us safely across the country and, last but not least, helping us spot all of the Big Five.

We are incredibly grateful to Eddie, Ronald, Maxine, Josephine, and everyone behind the scenes at Kajie for creating such a wonderful and seamless experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Uganda.

Absolutely amazing and even better than expected!
5/5

As a group, we went on a 10-day safari in January/February and visited the national parks at Murchinson Falls and Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Buyoni, Bwindi, and Kigale. It was incredible to get so close to the animals, especially on the walking safaris and the to see the chimpanzees and gorillas. A wonderful experience that I can absolutely recommend. Kaje Safaris put together a great itinerary for us and offered us many inexpensive extra activities (e.g., a village visit in Kigale and a visit to the Batwa in Bwindi), which were great.
We were very happy with our guide Collin. He showed us lots of animals and told us all about them, often made us laugh, and mastered even the bumpiest roads with ease. Thank you very much, Collin, and thank you to Kaje for these great experiences! 🫶🏻
