Fantastic and Flexible Tour - Guide John was Top Notch!
I went on a 6 day private tour to multiple national parks. The experience was fantastic. I was able to organize a custom tour based off the pieces that I wanted to do from a few pre-set tours. The office was very responsive and helpful in setting that up. Upon pickup, service was top notch. As I spoke with my guide I wanted to add a few additional stops. A quick call to the office got everything adjusted. My driver and guide, John was spectacular. Great company to spend 6 days with someone solo in the car. In addition, as we passed things that looked intriguing, John was always willing to stop and was incredibly helpful. We became quick friends and he showed me some of his local spots. Would recommend Rwindi Voyage and highly recommend requesting John as your driver

Wonderful guide, beautiful experiences
Laban was everything you could ask for in a guide. He was extremely pleasant to be around, very knowledgeable, organized and punctual. Couldn’t have imagined a better experience with Queen Elizabeth, the chimpanzees and the gorillas. Accommodations were comfortable and the food was shockingly good. Huge thanks to Laban for the 10/10 experience!

We have been grateful here all our lives.
As a wildlife photographer, my trips require flexibility, patience, and guides who understand the craft — Expedition Rwindi Voyage nailed it. They knew the best times for light, the best vantage points, and were endlessly patient while I set up shots or waited for the perfect moment. They even communicated with rangers to position us in ideal trekking groups so I had better chances at capturing unique gorilla behaviors. Beyond the wildlife, they introduced me to stunning landscapes — misty mountains, sparkling lakes, and vibrant city scenes — each a canvas waiting to be framed. I came home with a portfolio full of powerful images, but more importantly, I came home with gratitude for a team that truly understood and supported my passion. If you’re a photographer, amateur or pro, this is the company to trust — they’ll get you the shots, but they’ll also make sure you enjoy the journey between them.

Incredible Gorilla Trek Expedition!
My time in Rwanda was beyond extraordinary, thanks to the flawless coordination and professionalism of the team who organized my gorilla trek, golden monkey trek, and visit to the Dian Fossey grave site. From start to finish, everything ran seamlessly — transfers, permits, timing, and communication were handled with precision and care.
Barrack, my guide, was amazing! He adjusted plans effortlessly to make sure every moment was optimized. Despite being deep in the forest, I always felt completely safe and well looked after.
The gorilla trek was simply life-changing — respectful and perfectly paced. The golden monkey trek brought a joyful contrast, and the hike to the Dian Fossey grave site added a deeply meaningful, historical layer to the experience.
Every aspect reflected care, expertise, and respect for both visitors and wildlife. I can’t recommend this team enough!

Incredible experiences, amazing guides, great communication
We booked the 3D2N package (Gorilla trekking + Golden Monkeys) with Rwindi Safari, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — starting with a visit to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda to see the playful golden monkeys, followed by an insightful cultural trip to meet the Batwa tribe in Uganda, and finishing with the absolutely unforgettable gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest.
A huge part of what made this trip so special were our incredible guides, John and Laban. From start to finish, they created a fantastic atmosphere filled with knowledge, stories, and plenty of laughs. They went above and beyond in every instance to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, while also giving us a deeper appreciation for the culture of the region.
The communication with Rwindi Safari during the booking process was also excellent — clear, responsive, and professional, which made planning effortless.
The experiences themselves were nothing short of amazing, with the gorilla trekking standing out as the highlight — an awe-inspiring encounter we will never forget.
Overall, this was truly one of the best travel experiences we’ve had, and we would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Rwindi Safari. A final big thank you again to our amazing guides, John and Laban, for making it all so unforgettable!

Fantastic Uganda Tour
Everything was perfect and according to planned. The company of Noah during my 4 days journey from Kigali to Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Mgahinga mountains was helpful and entertaining. I would contact again Rwindi Expeditions if I had to travel to Uganda again.

He goes the extra mile
Such an amazing experience. David our tour guide was great and showed us some great spots. We managed to see giraffes, elephants, antelopes, rhinos, warthogs, crocodiles, hippopotamus, many beautiful birds and many more animals. The ride across the country side of rwanda is very touching. The Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. All in all it's an incredible day. And they take great care of us. 🦬🦓🐐🐘🦒🦏🐊🐒

Professional and provided a wonderful experience
We engaged Rwindi Voyage for our gorilla trekking at Mgahinga, and we were assigned to Laban. Our communication started on WhatsApp and was smooth throughout. When we finally met Laban, he turned out to be such a wonderful person and accommodated all our requests—even showing us the community school where he teaches and arranging a coffee experience because he noticed how much our group enjoys coffee during the trip.
We also met Baraka, who was the first person I communicated with before being assigned to Laban; he was also very nice to deal with and a very polite person. Both of them personally drove us back from Uganda to Rwanda and saw us off at the airport.
The gorilla trekking experience itself was wonderful—we were lucky and managed to see the gorilla family within an hour of trekking. Apparently, we are the first Malaysian group to do this trek at Mgahinga National Park. We truly enjoyed our time with the gorillas.
Overall, it was a great experience with them—truly great people.
