I couldn't have asked for a better, more informed and well organised company for this style of trip.
We received excellent service throughout the whole trip: warm contact, a very pleasant and interesting guide who was very experienced & knowledgable. We were lucky to be able to see the big 5 & a lot more animals & birds in the three parks : Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongora crater. What an incredible country ! Our guide was happy to help in any way, & helped us plan parts of our onwards trip in Tanzania. I can highly recommend Lion King Adventures. Thank you for everything !

First trip to Africa. Lion King Adventures made it simply superb.
We had a wonderful safari with Lion King Adventures in Tanzania (5days including Arusha NP, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Tarangire). It started with an easy booking process and flexibility regarding all the wishes we had. This helped create our dream safari. The team at Lion King organised an airport pick up and accommodation for the first night. As this was our first time in Africa, it was helpful to us to know that everything had been organised. During the safari, James was our driver for the whole of the trip. He was great! Friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly has a passion for what he does. . He always managed to get us in the right spot to see the animals and to take beautiful pics and made this experience very special. We had such a great time with him. We would recommend Lion King Adventures to everyone. You are dealing with people who are very helpfu, reliable, and honest. No hidden costs or promises they did not keep.

James Is The Best!
James is a fantastic guide, he could spot leopards no one could see and we were almost always the first car to arrive! James really knows his stuff, he can tell you the names and habits of every bird, insect and mammal we spotted. When you are competing with every other car to get great pictures and clear views of animals, James is the man! He is not afraid to get up close or jocky for good positions. He knows the secret spots and where to find rare critters! His English is great and he is a fun and friendly guy to spend time with. There are a lot of Safari operators, so it's important to make sure you are dealing with professionals! We saw countless safari vehicles broken down on the side of the road, Jame's Land Cruiser passed them all! In fact we even stopped to help a few tourists who's safari guide's just weren't up to par. He is a safe driver, listens to direction and takes requests. Your trip is entirely up to you and you have total control. You won't get this type of personal attention from the large "corporate" operators and they cost much more. You can't go wrong with James! I felt completely safe and in good hands, this was the trip of a lifetime!

My Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Maynara Safari
I was fortunate enough to have James as our guide for our trip, James was very knowledgeable of the Animals and provided us with a great experience! During our Safari he did not rest until we got the experience we wanted. Several times he stopped and pointed out animals that we haven't even seen at first glance it was hard to see them but he patiently explained to us the precise location. James also served as a Swahili tutor, and learned many things from him. Will definitely use them again. I am planning another safari and will be using them for sure. Amazing experience
I booked my trip online off course I was little scared how it's going to be but everything turned out amazing!
James is very professional and the same time so friendly. He treated us like we've been friends forever...
He is able to answer every questions even more than we have known to ask, he informed us briefly.
He was very careful about what we told him, what we are expecting to see, he gave us our dream come true. I fell in love with Tanzania in 4 days and now dreaming going back for more days.

I had the honour to have Mr. James Mlanga our guide! This guy is great, kind, funny and always happy to reply the million questions we asked him during our time around Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater!!
He kept us informed about the wildlife and the surrounding areas, which was my Trip target .

A truly perfect safari adventure!
From the minute James arrived to collect our group, we felt safe and well looked after. He was courteous, kind, funny and able to answer our millions of questions during our safari. He kept us well informed about everything and we were able to relax and fully enjoy this incredible country, it's wildlife and its people. James was very respectful of the wildlife and the surrounding countryside, which was very important for me. He used his extensive knowledge of the National Parks, animal behaviour and links with the other safari guides to ensure we had the best experience possible.

We just finished a 6-day safari with Lion King Adventures – and honestly, we’re still processing what we experienced.
From the very first moment, everything was perfectly organized, smooth, and professional. But what truly made this trip exceptional was our guide, Haruni.
Haruni is not just a guide – he is the reason this safari became something unforgettable.
His ability to spot animals is simply incredible. We saw an unbelievable variety of wildlife, often in situations that felt almost unreal – from a leopard resting in a tree to large herds of elephants, giraffes passing right next to the car, and even multiple big cats in a single day. It never felt rushed or forced. He always seemed to know where to go, when to wait, and how to position us perfectly without disturbing the animals.
But beyond his skills, what really stood out was him as a person.
Haruni is warm, calm, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. We had so many relaxed and fun conversations during the drives, and even in the evenings – whether sitting together for dinner or around the campfire. He speaks very good German, which made everything even easier and more personal for us.
There was never any pressure, never any stress – just a feeling of being in very good hands.
The entire experience felt natural, unforced, and somehow very “real”. Not like a typical tourist trip, but more like being guided through something special by someone who truly loves what he does.
Lion King Adventures delivered a fantastic safari overall – great planning, beautiful lodges, and a seamless experience from start to finish.
But Haruni made it extraordinary.

Outstanding. David, Yusuf, and Muita, together with their assistants Jacob and Kelvin, were very professional, kind, and attentive.
Always willing to help, with knowledge and experience that turned the safari days into something truly unforgettable.
They were the best part of the trip and more than enough reason to choose the services of Lion King Adventures.
Purchase process – María
Excellent service. Very efficient, smooth, and professional. We exchanged many emails reviewing options and changes, and she always responded quickly and clearly. This part of the experience was very positive.
After-sales service – Rose
Unfortunately, problems arose. I detected a billing error of more than USD 9,000. After several days, I was told it was an “administrative error” and that I still had to pay it. We were 15 people, with flights already issued and only two months before departure, so I had no real alternative. I paid so as not to disappoint my grandchildren and because it was impossible to restart the process with another provider so close to the trip.
I requested a phone number for emergencies, which was provided, but I did not receive adequate responses.
THE COMPANY
After the trip, I had numerous contacts with their CEO, James Mlanga, who impressed me with his professionalism and sincere desire to resolve the issues.
After his intervention, my conclusion is that Lion King is a fully recommendable company.

Very good but commnication with the pick up driver at Kilimanjaro airport needs improvement.
Back and forth communication with Lion King before arrival was good. However once our safari started our assigned tour Safari guide, Immanuel, was amazing. He made our safari memorable.
