A family atmosphere with a personal touch! Absolutely awesome!
Phenomenal!!
Ernest and his team of specialists (Luca, Deal, Danford) were excellent! They coordinated a beautiful 3 day trip which included Tarangire, Ngornogorno, and a base hike to camp 1 pf Kili!
Phenomenal value!! The trip never have one boxed lunch but rather included hearty meals that were fresh hearty!!
The best part of going through Worldwide Safaris was the family atmosphere! Ernest teaches you about Tanzania and the people and doesn’t cut any corners!!
Anthony Bourdain used Ernest on his trip to Tanzania as well!!
Great with communication through email or the WhatsApp!
Highly recommend 5/5 stars!!!

Incredible
Congratulations! You've decided to go on Safari where you will have the best trip of life - seriously. Now you have to decide what tour operator to go with. If you want some large commercial tourist shop to take you Worldwide Safaris is not for you. If you want a personalized adventure, with friendly, passionate and thoughtful guides/drivers then call Ernest! There are no guarantees on safari, but give yourself the best opportunity to see the highest quality wildlife by going with an operator that has true local knowledge and, despite seeing it all by now, still get excited by the simple joys of the bush like watching a giraffe drinking water, finding baby warthogs or watching a leopard nap in a tree.
Maybe it was luck, or maybe it was Worldwide Safaris, but we really saw it all: lion kill, river crossing, the big 5 (we had single day where we saw the entire big 5 in one day), big animals, little animals, birds, interesting plants, Masai village, etc... Whether you have a specific interest or your group has mixed interests you can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing that Worldwide Safaris will take care of you.
I will definitely call Ernest and Worldwide Safaris when I go back to experience more of what Africa and Tanzania have to offer.

Exceeded expectations for an unforgettable trip
We spent five days with Ernest and there were 5 people in our group. From start to finish Ernest was very professional and it is obvious that he is passionate about his job which made the trip so much more enjoyable. We spent the first day in Tarangire and stayed in a lodge in Karatu that evening.
Ernest walked us around the local market and discussed some of the local produce. We then went for a local dinner which we all really enjoyed and thought that this was a nice touch. The following day we went to Serengeti and spent two nights camping there. The last night was spent camping on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater and we descended the crater the following day. We also visited a Maasai village which again, is something a little extra and shows that they really try to give you a proper taste of Tanzania.
During our five-day trip we saw approximately 40 lions, some cheetahs, rhinos, leopards, elephants and many other animals. One of the people in our group was interested in bird watching and Ernest made sure to point out and describe many birds. He really catered to everyone's interests.
Throughout our trip it felt as though we were taking part in a wildlife documentary because we were so close to the animals! Having done a Safari from Arusha a few years ago, this one was a million times better! Highly recommend this company!

Weekend in the Serengeti
We were 4 volunteers going to the Serengeti. We all had a great experience. Ernest is the best driver I have been been on a safari with, especially with the roads that were difficult to drive on because of the rain.
The weather wasn't ideal as it was raining a lot and the grass was high, but Ernest managed to make us see everything. The food and the car were very good. We all had a good time. He managed to find other people to go on the trip with us and reduce the price. Very professional and well-organized. Recommended.
Return to Tarangire Safari Lodge after 22 years
we chose Ernest's Worldwide Safaris because they offered a good fair price, could customise to our needs and they were very professional and responded to our emails promptly. Ernest is a very nice man, and we were so pleased to go with a smaller organisation which met our expectations in every way. Johnson our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and birdlife and also a really good guy. We would certainly use WWST again.

Amazing experience!!!
Ernest from Worldwide Safaris Tanzania provided us with an amazing 7-day African safari experience. The trip was well organised and safe. We started at Arusha and then headed to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro National Park, Manyara Lake and Serengeti National Park. All these parks have amazing views with so many different wildlife to see. The guide, Danford also made our trip wonderful with his vast knowledge and sense of humour. He was also very patient and accommodating. Some of the highlights are the wildebeest migration across the Mara River in Nothern Serengeti, lion hunt, leopard feasting on a tree and the beautiful views.
The accommodation provided during the trip was perfect. The lodges including the tented ones in the parks are very comfortable, clean, with friendly staff and have excellent food. This has got to be one of the best life experience thanks to the well planned trip. We will definitely come back.

An experience we will treasure forever!
Our 7-day, 6-night safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti with Danford (aka “Dannyboy”) as our guide was the most memorable and spectacular experience of our lives. After weeks of thoroughly researching our options for a relatively affordable safari (not camping, but also not high-end luxury), we chose Worldwide Safaris and requested Danford.
Danford was an extraordinary guide! He not only had an uncanny ability to spot wildlife from a distance, but also could knowledgeably answer nearly every question about the animals that we threw at him (and we indeed had many questions). Danford navigated the dirt roads in the parks like a pro and knew his way around the vast landscapes, at times offering help to other less experienced guides. Moreover, he was simply a pleasure to be around and his sense of humor and jovial personality raised our level of enjoyment to new heights. We experienced many long laughs together and had many interesting conversations sharing our cultures with each other. We still keep in touch with him. Do yourself a favor and make a request for Danford to be your guide. You will not be disappointed.
In Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, we saw lions, prides of lions, lion cubs, leopards, cheetahs, cheetahs eating their kill, giraffe, elephants, baby elephants, rhinos, hippos, wildebeest migrating, zebra, buffalo, and much much more. I’ve attached photos of wildlife that we took while on our trip. Our vehicle had charging ports for our camera batteries, an adjustable open top which was indispensable for wildlife viewing, and was well stocked with bottles of water. Danford also brought along a superb pair of binoculars that we were able to use whenever we desired.
As for making all of the arrangements, Ernest was quick to reply to our messages and willing to work with our many requests to come up with the perfect itinerary and accommodations combination. For example, since we were arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport mid-day after having overnighted at a hotel in Addis Ababa, we figured we would be well-rested enough to make the 2-3 hr drive from the airport to the Tarangire area even though most travelers overnight in Arusha first. Ernest had no problem modifying the itinerary.
We stayed at Sangaiwe Lodge (Tarangire), Tloma Lodge (Ngorongoro), Mbugani (Serengeti for 2 nights), Mbugani Ndutu (Serengeti) and Olea Africana (final night). All were great (I will review them separately).
Again, this was an incredible experience made possible by our guide Danford and Ernest with the logistics. If we go back to Tanzania, we will be using Worldwide Safaris.

A great personal experience. Easy and transparent to deal with.
Dealing with Ernest was a pleasure. Always prompt and accommodative. We planned this trip over a year, and our itinerary and number of persons kept changing, but Ernest never grumbled.
When we arrived, he and his team were great. Our guides Luka, Ali and George were like a family to our group of 16, and very knowledgeable. We saw all that was there to see, including incredible chases.
One of the most memorable trips of our life.

Greatest safari experience I've ever had!
We've just returned from the most incredible 8-day Migration Safari that Ernest Chiwanga of Worldwide Safaris led for our group of ten (which included our twin 11-year old grandsons!). I must say that given all the safaris I have been on over the past years (and there have been more than 15 of them!), this was by far the most incredible in many ways. The destinations they chose for us and the guides who patiently drove us for miles across the Tanzanian bush were knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and engaging - especially with the young boys traveling with us. The array of wildlife and the unique sightings were among the most prolific and exciting I have ever seen -- among the highlights we witnessed were one active lion kill, the crossing of what must have been hundreds of thousands of wildebeest across the Mara River with 4 being taken by crocodiles (although I'm sure we saw over a million in total!), the immediate aftermath of a lion kill that attracted hyenas and vultures surrounding our vehicles, leopards dragging their kill up a tree, and lions sleeping in a tree were sights I had never witnessed before. And then there were the cultural visits that put many things into perspective for us -- our visit to a Massai community was enlightening, and our visit to a local school at the end of our safari was inspiring. Thank you for this wonderful experience -- and for accommodating the children as well as you all did. Your organization was impeccable, and your team, exceptional. I plan to return soon.
Mr. Ernest Chiwanga, at Worldwide Safaris Tanzania, a most exceptional guide.
I cannot write a review about Worldwide Safaris Tanzania LTD because I have not, as yet, been able to take a safari with this company. I have, however, had the good fortune to be on a Mountain Travel Sobek trip in July, 2014 in Tanzania with Mr. Ernest Chiwanga, one of the leaders and guides for our group of 10. I have stayed in touch with Mr. Chiwanga since my 2014 trip and learned that he is now leading safaris with Worldwide Safaris Tanzania LTD and had his first group last month. They were lucky people to have Mr. Chiwanga as their guide! He is an extraordinary person, very knowledgeable about Tanzania and very interested in the animals of his country. He was a wonderful guide and a very nice person too. I do hope, someday, to be able to make another safari in Tanzania with Mr. Chiwanga through Worldwide Safaris Tanzania LTD as I know it will be a very rewarding experience. I fell in love with Africa on my 2014 trip (my first trip there). The people who made my trip so interesting, like Mr. Chiwanga, the unique places we visited and the beautiful animals and birds we saw made it a trip of a lifetime for me. My only fear is that continued poaching I read about almost daily will kill off all of the beautiful elephants, rhinos and other animals in Tanzania and throughout Africa and then there will be little reason to visit that wonderful place. Sincerely, Jacquelyn Wilson
