Pascal was patient and accomodating given the challenges with my flight changes.
Safari.com helped us find the perfect safari experience to maximize the short amount of time we had for a sister's safari trip. It was our first safari for both of us and Pascal helped us find the perfect place based on our requests. The Simbavati Ridge Lodge was a top notch place to stay- 5 stars all around. Amazing food, warm and friendly staff, clean and modern accommodations, and importantly, helped us see the Big 5 by day 2. Trip of a lifetime!
Umkumbe lodge rocks
We have nothing but praise for our bush experience with Umkumbe and our guide Pieter and our tracker Phineas. The game drives were exciting and successful in finding all the big game we hoped for. Pieter has deep knowledge of the wildlife and got us to some awesome viewing positions. We always had a refreshment break, one morning even fresh crepes with fruit and whipped cream. The camp itself is top shelf with very helpful and pleasant staff and excellent meals. I have no suggestions for improvements. It was all so great.

Generally good but Tour Guide Disappointing
We arrived on Victoria Falls Tour at National Park Entrance and the guide hands out cold water bottles to everyone in the group, but mine was a used bottle which was 3/4 full and seal was broken so handed it back the guide he then took the last remaining full bottle from the esky for himself and excepted me to accept the used bottle. For the money we paid for the tour provided by Victoria Falls Safari Lodge it clearly shows customer service is non existent and they are a pooly managed company treating customers without respect. The tour guide should be terminated instantly from Victoria Falls safari lodge.

Izanne Meyer was brilliant & meticulous in the planning of our safari with a family of 17pax.
Safari.com and all the arrangements made by them as well as their partners they used were reliable and trustworthy. We definitely received value for our money.
We were blown away by Izanne's promptness to answer any query, even if it was after hours. The Safai.com team were always professional and friendly.
We appreciated the reliable transfer companies and their drivers that Safari.com use. All the drivers for our transfers from and to airports and our accommodation were professional, friendly and most importantly good drivers.
The accommodation that was booked for our family of 11adults and 6 children, was exactly what we wanted. From extravagance to rustic and ending with fun in Sun City.
The highlights are to many, but I'll mention a few.
Kapama Safari River Lodge was amazing. From luxury accommodation to delicious meals and the friendliest of staff. All our rangers and trackers were professional and their knowledge of the bush and animals very impressive.
Five of our grandchildren were old enough not to have an adult with them. Their ranger and tracker loved the children's enthusiasm for all animals from tiniest to the big 5 of course. The children say they will never forget Kat and Martin and everything they taught them. Especially, a little of the art of tracking. Seeing the dung beetles at work in elephant droppings, the praying mantas at night and the big 5 in two days was exceptional.
Thsukudu is a small game farm with lovely, rustic accommodation that feels like one is part of the bush. Just so peaceful to sit on the veranda and watch the tortoise and warthogs wander in from under the fence. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a happy one. We loved the tales of our ranger. Seeing the two cheetahs that were saved as babies all grown up and back in the wild was beautiful. Watching the hippos at play and a big herd of buffalo was a highlight.
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe was a certain highlight of our tour. Loved our accommodation and the best view one could wish for over the waterhole and bush. Seeing the animals right from our rooms or the deck and Buffalo bar is fun. The vulture conservation efforts here is serving as a critical, proactive step toward safeguarding these endangered cleaners.
The arrangements made for our 5 days there was perfect. Walking the tour of the Victoria Falls and experiencing the overwhelming power, deafening roar, and soaking rain of Mosi-oa-Tunya, or "TheSmoke of Thunders" is an unforgettable experience.
Choebe also gave us an explosion of memories to take home. Seeing the sights and wild from a boat and from the land was incredible.
Ending our tour at the magnificent Sun City was all we had hoped for.
Thank you Safari.com!

Efficient organisation of last minute trip.
Candis responded to all of our questions quickly and efficiently so that we could get our safari trip organised in a very short time frame. Although we had picked out what tour we wanted to do ourselves, she was able to link the dots and organise transfers to get us to and from our chosen safari safely despite our party coming in from different places. The complimentary insurance cover offer was an unexpected bonus and comfort. Plus free eSim. Although it cost a little extra to have the trip organised by someone else, it was a small amount for the feeling of security it offered with us having not been to South Africa before.

Amazing attention to detail, considerate of client’s budget and wants.
We were delighted with our Safari experience from start to finish. Customer service was truly exceptional. We had a last minute flight cancellation on a Sunday night and when I reached out to the team I had three responses within minutes. Everything was adjusted to deal with the flight cancellation and the rest of our journey went off without further incident. The recommended accommodations were simply outstanding, game drives spectacular, food and service excellent. Our Safari was everything we dreamed of and more. We really loved the level of expertise and attention we received.

Amazing
We recently booked a trip through Safari.com which included a 3-night safari in Kruger followed by 3 nights in Cape Town, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish.
Our travel agent, Kim, was excellent throughout. Communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful at every stage. Kim took care of every detail, including managing some last-minute flight changes, which made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless.
All transfers were perfectly organised — every driver was waiting for us exactly as planned, which made travelling between locations effortless. It gave us real peace of mind knowing everything had been arranged so thoroughly.
Kim was always available via email and WhatsApp, and even called me immediately when I thought I couldn’t find our transfer in Cape Town (which turned out to be entirely my fault). That level of responsiveness and care really stood out.
Overall, the trip offered fantastic value for money, especially considering the level of service and support we received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Safari.com, and particularly Kim, to anyone planning a similar trip.

Not as advertised
The first 3 nights were at Kruger Shalati, which is the accomodation in the train carriages! This place is awesome and excellent value for money. Everything is included - 4 meals a day which is far too many, all free wine etc (you can pay for cocktails but they are cheap), 2 game drives a day, great staff, very attentive, great animal viewing right from the accomodation and one of the 3 pools. We highly, highly recommend Kruger Shalati and will be back for sure.
Our next stop was Rhino Post - don't waste your time or money! It's very dirty, has a very strange energy, feels very unorganised and none of the staff seem to know what is going on. Our booking confirmation also said that all basic wines, water and soft drinks were included but they tried to charge for it all. This then all got paid by the booking company for us as it was false advertising. I wouldn't return or recommend this place to anyone.
We then did 2 nights at Plains Camp (walking safari) the camp is wayyyyy nicer that Rhino Post, very relaxing, great food, nice staff. There is no wifi at all so be prepared to relax and unwind and watch the animals in the plains like Wildebeest, Baboons and Warthogs. You may also hear the lions roaring at night. PLEASE BEWARE, you will basically see no animals at all on the walks. Animals are frightened on humans on foot vs the safari vehicles. When we got on our first walk our guide informed us that walking safaris were not for seeing animals and that was pretty disappointing as it is certainly not advertised that way. You will track prints in the soil, learn about plants and do a hell a lot of walking through thick grass which was not good for my partner as she is terrified of snakes and there certainly are snakes.
The walks are long 2-3 hours, twice a day. So also be prepared for that.
Finally that brings us to 3 nights at Geiger's. This was by far the most expensive of all the accomodations. The chef is incredible but there is no menu, you are just served a 4 course meal as a surprise each night, drinks are included. Its hard to get food, drinks or service in the day (I think the staff take their rest then). It only hosts 5 villas, so its a very small group which is nice. You reason it's worth paying the money is because the game drives on the private reserve that connects to the Kruger are amazing. We saw Lion Mums on a fresh kill with all their cubs, A leopard in a tree eating its kill, a leaoprd walking right up to the safari truck, 5 Rhinos in a group and a baby playing with its mum in the mud, wild dogs and hyenas having a fight, huge crocs and all the usual suspects Elephants, Hippos, Giraffe, Warthogs, Antelopes etc etc.
But for off road viewing right next to the action, this place is worth the money. Our guides Josh and MJ were lovely.
