Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater - Great experience with Benson Safari and our Guide Zablon
The overall experience with Benson Safari was perfect. Starting with sending offers in a very short time, consulting and finally the whole trip from A to Z. Special thanks to our guide Zablon who did a great job, was very kind, share a lot of insights/knowledge about the wildlife. It was very well orginized.
I did not want to book through a Europian touroperator. I wanted to keep my money in Africa for our safari. It worked out very well trough booking Benson safaris. We made agreements about paying this trip and everything worked out fine. Our driver Amini was at the airport and he was our guide all week. He was always smiling and he learned us a lot about wildlife. We were extremly satisfied about our safari and about the other things we did during our stay in Tanzania. Do not hesitate to book Benson safaris.

Amazing safari august 2023
We had an amazing trip thanks to Benson and our personal guide Amini. We enjoyed the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire and had a fun day exploring the Marangu waterfalls and coffee processing at the foot of the Kilimanjaro. We slept in really nice accommodations for the whole week and even saw a hippo outside of our tent. Benson and his crew have always been really nice to us and were always ready to help arrange our perfect holiday. It was a trip to never forget. Thanks again to Benson and Amini.

The most amazing memorable experience
Excellence. Everything was organized down to the detail with sympathy. I went alone with a 6 year old child, felt safe and taken care of eveywhere, not only from the safari organization, but also the different hostings along the way. From the beginning the responsiveness was immediate, transparent and well-rounded options. Our super knowledgable guide was flexible and we felt at home. What an adventure, we loved it ! Best safari Ever !!!!!!
Benson Safaris Tanzania Was amazing. Our guide, Liberatus, was the best! He found so many lions, leopards, chitas hiding in the vegetation. The organization of the whole week was very good and we could show the big 5 and other animais to our grandchildren.
We had been twice in South África and never saw before chitas and leopards in the wild.
Liberatus could spot the animais far away. We had the best time.

A unique and unforgettable event for the whole family
We (a family with two children, plus another family with two children) went on a 3-day safari. Day 1: Tarangire NP, Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, Day 3: Lake Manyara. The organization was done in advance via email and WhatsApp. We were very well advised by Benson. All our wishes were taken into account. In Tanzania, before our safari, the last details were finalized. The safari was perfectly tailored to the needs of both the children and the adults. For example, we had a campsite where the children could run around and play after the long car journey. The experiences during the safari were more than impressive. We saw a lot of animals. Accommodation and food could not have been better.
We particularly enjoyed the first two days with the respective national parks. The 3rd day with Lake Manyara NP did not offer enough variety for the children. We saw very few animals there. In retrospect, we would prefer a 2nd day in Ngorongoro Crater instead of Lake Manyara, as in our opinion one day there is not enough.
All in all, we had a great, very impressive and unforgettable time with many great and caring people. Thank you very much for that! We would book a safari with Benson again at any time and can only recommend Benson Safari.

Benson Safaris - best experience ever!
As a family, we had a great time traveling with Benson Safaris! Even though rainseason already started, our guide was able to find wonderful places and animals to see. We were able to visit 3 NPs in 3 days. Our guide was very friendly, great with the kids and a skilled driver.
We stayed at a comfortable campsite with pool and lovely surroundings. The cook treated us with delicious food and lunchboxes during the day. Worth the money. Thumps up!

Professional, committed and smooth
Being Tanzania and safari first-timers, traveling with children, one may prefer to book “everything” through a tour operator established back home. Wanting to tailor make our trip, cut costs and maximize the positive local impact of our spendings we instead asked for quotes from three operators via safaribookings, one of them being Benson Safaris Tanzania.
From the very first contact, Benson Safaris have been impressively professional, committed and smooth. They made sure they understood our preferences correctly and swiftly gave us a few different budget options. They were flexible and attentive during our bit of tossing and turning before deciding. All in all, excellent communications and service before the trip! Since we’ve looked into several tour operators, we also believe Benson Safaris offer excellent value for money.
When finally in Tanzania we were met by our driver/guide as planned, who in a committed and knowledgeable way was our companion during our amazing safari. Making sure we got to see our personal favorites (everything from the lion king to the ugly five) and even the Great Migration (which isn’t necessarily on one’s doorstep). Keeping us safe and happy from the first hello to the very last goodbye!

Great Operator - Fantastic Driver-Guide
We found Benson Safari very reliable. Communication with Peris was fast and efficient. She easily accommodated the needs for our trip.
Everything went perfect in our week long Safari, from finding our driver guide Zablon at Kili airport to drop off a week later at Kokatende airstrip.
Our itinerary was Tarangire, Ngorogoro, central serengeti and north serengeti.
Benson set us up in lovely lodges, with special mention to Kubu Kubu in Central Serengeti. The view is incredible, and the rooms luxurious. Serena Manyara was in a good location but a bit outdated. Mara under canvas is the definition of Glamping. Beautiful grounds and very comfortable tents, with hot bucket shower! Service was impeccable everywhere.
Zablon was fantastic as our driver guide. Patient, knowledgeable and always in good mood, always making sure to get the best viewing spots. We spotted the big 5 and much more. The migration crossing at the Mara river is something indescribable.
My wife celebrated her birthday during our trip, and Benson arranged for a surprise ar the Mara Under Canvas lodge. That was very special!
