Very good communications, simple e-mail contact for Safari, pricing and payments definition and other remote activities.
It is easy to find the best Safari for everyone; Mamasavana is willing to manage custom Safaris defined with the client.
Very good fleet and organization, absolutely reliable.
In my case the guide, very empathic and cheerful, was able to speak multiple languages.

Good & friendly drivers
We didnt do the safari tour with them but we do transfers from Kilimanjaro to Serengeti and return. It was all good, drivers were experienced and helpful. Thank you for the safe ride

Excellent experience with tour organizing in Tanzania with Mama Savana
This July and August we went with our two girls (12 and 15 years) to Tanzania. Alex from Mama Savana organized an individual family tour for us. Our tour included Dar es Salaam, Selous Game Resourt, Stone Town, Beach in Zanzibar and back to Dar es Salaam. All the transfers worked fine, the Logdes and hotels he picked for us, werde excellent and we felt very safe and in very good hands. We had wonderful and interesting experience with all people we met through Mama Savana. Alex was always atainable and made sure our tour went according to the plan. We are very happy picked Mama Savana and would highly recommed it to everybody who seeks individual tours.

Professional and excellent tour operator!
Our experience with mamasavana is very positive. The service level is very high. Every detail small or big mamasavana made our vacation to the best. The first contact took place with John which gave us detailed information about the safari tours and helped us decide which period suits us best to go. So John thank you so much for everything and administrative tasks before our trip. The guide we had, Allen, was a perfect guide with a lot of experience and so much knowledge about the environment. We had so much fun during the time we spent together. Thank you for all the laughs! We will miss you!

great tour with lots of tayloring to our wishes
We are a family of 4 and stayed for vacation in Tanzania for 18 days. Pick-ups from airports and hotels were always on time and as expected and drivers and guides had good English skills and could explain a lot about the country and its wildlife and plants. The 3 days game drive in Selous was the deepest impression. Mansoor did a great job in driving, finding animals even Eland antilopes and told us a lot about Africas mamals but also about birds and plants. The first day in our lunch break an elephant went direct in our direction but turned slightly 100m away but this was a little bit scarry since we already were ready to get all food back in the car and interrupt our lunch but Mansoor stayed calm but observed the animal very good and concluded there is no need for action and he was right. So this became one of the most impressive events but also lions with a giraffe what they got just shortly before we found them. Lodge pick in Selous and hotel choice in Dar and in Stonetown met our expectations as well and communication before travel and during an interruption due to a self organized beach stay was working excellent by whats app and even after our arrival back in Germany we were still chatting a bit. Thanks Alex and Leina for organizing everything very well. We looking forward to met you in Germany when you come to Berlin for ITB- all in all we highly recommend Mama Savana

Absolutely awesome tour enjoyed every second as honeymooners!
Our safari lasted 8 days. We travelled a lot (Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorogoro and Serengeti) and slept in 4 different accommodations. Every single accommodation was superb and the time schedule was well thougt. We enjoyed the most the accommodation in central Serengeti. It was a tented lodge with an awesome location, delicious food, very clean and friendly service! As honeymooners they even arranged a candle light dinner at the fire place. But all accommodations were better than expected! There is nothing to complain about. The car was clean, had a fridge and did its job very good.
We saw all " big 5". The guide knew everything by heart and headed to every spot being the first. We were almost every time the first guys to see a spectacular scene. e.g. 2 lions going to a big stone and coming out with 4 baby lions. 5 min after our arrival there came 30 cars to watch this scene...even on 1 day a car arrived at 8 pm saying that they could not find their camp in the darkness - our guide drove them to their camp. Allen was unique and we felt like being a little family in this week we laughed a lot this guy was just awesome.
To sum up. We cannot complain about anything. We can definitely recommend mamasavana 100%!!

Absolutely great experience with adventure every hour...
The accommodation was clean and well equipped for Safari.
Hot water supply was a very unique feature, we were a group of 4adults and all vegetarian the kitchen catered very well for our needs.
I can't wait to go again.

Very well organized and professional tour operator
Very reliable, helpful, prompt, well organized and knowledgeable tour operator, Mama Savana Safaris offered us a very nice experience and a well thought itinerary. Eric, our driver and guide, was polite, careful, helpful and took good care of us. He knew very well the roads, drove very professionally and by the law, tried to please us and find always a good spot to watch the wildlife. We highly recommend them!

是值得信赖的一家safari地接. We did a 14-day safari with Mama Savana that covered both Kenya and Tanzania. We had 4 guides in total, they were all super nice. 2 guides really stood out. Erick, he's young, funny and fun, we spent the most days with him in Tanzania, there was never a dull moment with him, and we saw lots of animals because he was able to locate the animals fast. And Amani in Kenya, he's very professional, very knowledgeable of the animals. He loves to share his knowledge of the animals which I loved to hear every time when we spotted a different animal. And he's very punctual and serious with his work so he would organize your daily activities very diligently. I also have to thank the owner Alex's hospitality. When he learned that I was visiting Malindi after the safari, he welcomed me by sending an employee to pick me up at the Malindi airport and drove around the town to show me around and took me for dinner. I really appreciated their hospitality. So ya, you can totally trust Mama Savana with your safari trip. (Just one small complaint, that we didn't like the Safari car in our last few days in Kenya. It's an older model and the condition wasn't great. And it had a smaller windshield in the front so there's no way for us to see any animals sitting at the back, that means, every time if we wanted to see something, we had to stand up to see thru the pop-up, which can be quite inconvenient (especially during bumpy drives). Everything else was great. I had a good time.

Breath taking trip start to finish
An Unforgettable Tour with Mama Safari Tours
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mama Safari Tours! From start to finish, Alex was incredibly responsive and ensured everything was seamless.
Jay, our guide, was waiting for us at the airport with a sign and proved to be an expert at spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw all the animals we had hoped for—and more!
Accommodations:
Amboseli National Park (Serena Lodge): A stunning lodge with wild monkeys roaming the grounds and exceptionally attentive staff.
Lake Nakuru Lodge: Another breathtaking location, overlooking the lake. Our hut had a view of the grasslands, and we had an incredible close-up sighting of a white rhino!
Figtree Camp (Masai Mara): A five-star experience in a tented camp with hippos nearby—one even gave birth during our stay! While electricity and hot water were limited at certain times, it only added to the authentic safari experience.
Tips for Travelers:
1. If you’re doing the hippo boat tour, shop around—you can find it for $25 per person instead of $50.
2. At Masai Mara, entrance fees were initially quoted at $50 per person, but we negotiated and got in for half the price.
3. On the way back, skip the $10 buffet and ask for the regular menu—you’ll get freshly cooked food with drinks for about half the cost.
This was truly an unforgettable trip to a beautiful country. Jay was an amazing guide and is a real asset to Mama Safari Tours. Highly recommend!
