Our guide the cat whisperer
Communications with David Maro where easy, once i figured out he was using WhatsAp. My friend and I were coming from different places and the transfers were smooth for both of us. The accommodations in Arusha were clean and pleasant with a lovely garden. Our driver/guide, Ziggy, really had an uncanny connection with animals, he not only knew where to find them but how they would behave. At one point dozens of other vehicles were watching a leopard in a tree near a small creek. Ziggy knew what the cat was looking for from his perch and drove us downstream where we waited a few minutes. Sure enough here comes the cat strolling down the stream and sits down in from of our vehicle to get a better view of the prey, a warthog across the road. We got to watch it get lunch! Pretty special. That gave us the Big Five!.
Accommodations were wonderful as was the food, especially at the Serengeti Mawe Luxury Camp where George of the Bush greeted us warmly and offered free drinks from the bar, as it was Christmas Day. Hanging around the fire at night hearing tales of animal encounters was so welcoming. And when it was time to leave we got a drumming-singing send off.
We decided to amend our program and go to Tarangeri Park instead of Lake Eyasi. I turned out to have walking pneumonia and Ziggy and David were quick to find me a doctor in Karatu, at the Lutheran hospital. My doctor has 30 years experience and was very kind. Visit and meds totaled $25! Having mobile phone connection made changing plans easy. David was so willing to be flexible for us; I felt very well taken care of. Ours wasn't a luxury tour, rather a mid-range, but the attention to detail and willingness to work around our needs was quite touching. We enjoyed it so much we added another day. David even called me after I got back home to make sure I arrived safely and was healthy. Now thats service!

Very friendly, fantastic experience in terms of placement of the vehicle and knowledgable.
They speak very good English and used to communicate with us regarding the park. Did exactly how I had asked them to place the vehicle. As I am a wildlife photographer I am more worried about the angles I want with respect to the subject.

Fantastic trip!
We booked an 11 day Safari to Kenya and Tanzania, visiting Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Natron. These places were spectacular and we saw lots of wildlife, including the migrating Wildebeast crossing the Mara river and a vast amount of animals in Ngorongoro. We had a fabulous time on safari and everything was taken care of - our guides Tom and Nova were brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend Kili Slope in Tanzania and Right Choice in Kenya.

The perfect safari!
We had an amazing safari with Kili Slope! It was one of the best things I've ever done in my life and will definitely be something I do again.
Right from the off, David looked after us, collected us from the airport (in Kilimanjaro) and dropping us to our hotel even though our safari did not start for 2 days. On the safari, we had Nova as our driver. He had had a very pleasant and calm mannerism (which helps when there's wild animals all around you!) was a safe driver and was extremely knowledgable about the Serengeti and Ngorogoro. Ibrahim was our cook and each meal was delicious and healthy!
We managed to see the big 5 (+hippo and cheetah) on our safari along with a lioness dragging a dead wildebeest back to the shade for her cubs to eat!! It was truly incredible and not something I will ever forget! We did a camping safari and we had zebras, an elephant and hyenas in our camp - it was surreal.
I can strongly recommend Kili Slope and if I'm ever to do a safari in Tanzania again (which is very likely!) I will definately be doing it with Kili Slope Tours!

Amaizing safari experience
We were two spanish friends and we went on safari with this company on April. We took 3 nights/4 days safari to Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The experience was really nice, we could see the big 5, and that is even better when you go with no expectation (nature is not predictable).
The driver/guide, Sigi, was such a good one! He knew a lot about the animals, he had lot of knowledge about all the locations, he could see the animals from really far away and in some ocassion we reached to the animals the firts, so we could have good place to see them and take pictures. He was so commited with his job, so he asked to the rangers about where to find the leopard... and we did! He give us all the time we wanted to be stoped looking at the animals, he was so fexible with us, so we could decide all the time all what we wanted about our safari experience. Really profesional guide.
The cooker, Buga, was also a nice guy. He cooked good food, always on time.
We had a great experience with this company so, of course, we would recommend it!

In proffesionel hands
My dad and I spend 7days/6nights on Safari with Kili Slope.
The whole experience from the dialogue with David during the booking process to the actual safari was really good for us. We felt in safe hands all the way and the safari was truly special. Our guide Ziggy did his outmost to make the experience good and he found some truly spectacular sights with 13 Lions in a tree, Lions hunting, Leopard (on 2 occasion). Accomodation was as agreed and our food even better than we hoped - our cook Halid did very well.
David was the only person recommending the Walking Safari in Arusha National Park - great expericence - can only recommend this.
We are been on safari 3 times various places in Africa, and I was very nice to work with a tour company that was always and time (or before) and we really had the feeling that that David (owner), Safariguide (Ziggy) and Cook (Halid) did their outmost to ensure we had a great experience.

Great experience!
These are great guys who are very determined to make sure you have the best trip possible. That is, they are adaptable and always willing to change the itinerary according to your wishes. They are also knowledgeable about the places you go (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, etc.), so you are able to learn as well as have many memorable experiences. I would definitely recommend!

Marvelous safari in Serengeti
We had a fantastic 8-day safari with Kili Slope driving the whole day with our great guide Fadhili. Excellent sightings of lions, cheetah, leopard, huge hers of elephants, wildebeests and zebras, and we also learnt a lot despite we have had many safaris in Africa. We went for tented lodges in Manyara, Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro areas and all of them were very comfortable, just like our 4x4 vehicle. Fadhili was very helpful whatever requests we had, and he respected nature the rules of the national parks unlike other drivers. I will always remember his saying: the animals are always there, it is just our luck how much we see them, that is why it is called GAME drive :-). I would highly recommend Kili Slope and always remember in Africa: Hakuna Matata!

Fair to Average
I booked 8 months in advance (group join option) with stated goal to spend as much time as possible with the migration. The itinerary indicated 1 day in the Crater and 3 days in the Serengeti including one entire day with the migration (large wildebeest herd) and at the river looking for crossings.
Unfortunately this did not occur primarily due to the driver. Room/board was good and the first two days went according to schedule. I was put in a Avocet Tanzania Safaris group (the 6 passengers had each booked with several different agencies and mixed together --this is apparently common in Tanzania). We had a very good visit to Tangamire NP. One passenger left and a young boy who did not speak english joined us presumably as a cook. He and the driver were always speaking Swahili so we got minimal information. Loud ranger station static over the 2-way seemed always on and prevented music from being played.
On the 3rd day we found the large herd early in the morning , an incredible sight. But after 20 minutes, almost as if the job was completed, the driver took us across the Grumeti where we spent another hour then told us they are not crossing today so we crossed back and despite request to return, we never saw the herd again. The rest of the day was spent driving at high speed chasing ranger reports of cats which we had already seen quite a few of (but no chases/kills). At dinner I found out other vehicles had seen groups of wildebeast crossing the river. The fourth day was spent chasing more cats.
My second complaint is that each time I stood up to take a photo, the vehicle would take off fast knocking me down. It would be nice to get a warning like "leaving in 10 seconds". The fifth day was at the crater. We spent only 3 hours and I was told that the 4 other passengers were on a 5-day safari so he was taking them to the airport. I was left at campsite near Lake Manyara for 18 hours without a guide. On the sixth day I had my own guide for Lake Manyara NP and then to the airport.
Of course, I will return to see another migration but unsure if at Serengeti or Masai Mara.
