These guys rock!
We had a 4 day safari with these guys (just 2 of us and the driver) and as the other reviewers have mentioned peter was really good at setting us up with a personalized trip. We went to tarangire, serengetti and nongorogoro crater and we saw everything I could possibly have hoped for (and a hyena kill from about 2 meters away that I'm gonna have trouble forgetting! :P). Our guide, Glaizer (Who went by the nickname Six) was an absolute hero, as knowledgeable as you could wish for and very chatty and friendly and a great sense of humour. He was an ex mechanic too so we felt very safe in his skills to keep us going, would def recommend asking for him if you go with these guys.

Fantastic experience
I visited Tanzania with mi girlfriend two years ago. It was a fantastic experience. Peter (the "boss"), Aly (the guide) and Rouben (the driver) were very kind and assisted us in all we needed from our arrival to our departure. I always recommend Best Safaris because they offer personalized programs and very good prices. They fulfilled everything they promised: we saw all the animals we expected (even more), the lodges proposed by them were excellent... Definitively, this experience exceeded all our expectations.

The most authentic experience!
We traveled with BestDay in August 2012. We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Peter, the manager, is a very nice person and he looked after us from the first time we arrived in there to the last time we left Arusha. He really cares about his customers.
The guide and driver were also fantastic and very nice people. We enjoyed a loverly time with them during the safari.
My sister is going to Tanzania this summer wiht BestDay, and I´m sure she´ll enjoy as much as I enjoyed.

Very good tour operator
I have booked with Bestday Safaris 3 times (2009, 2011, 2013) and each of the times I have booked with them I have had a fantastic time. Peter Charles is a wonderful tour operator and will talk to you and find out exactly what you want to do on safari and will organize an awesome tour for you. I have been to the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater with this company and am overall very pleased with the service I have received. Overall HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and would book with them again.

Wonderful Personal Tour of Tanzania Game Parks
My wife and I opted for a private Jeep just for the two of us from Bestday Safaris, which turned out to be a great decision as we got to see the animals without other people obstructing our view. The driver/guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure that we were safe at all times. He went out of his way many times, especially to find the Big 5. The accommodations during the trip was good considering we were in the middle of the jungle. Everything went smoothly without any issues. At the end of the trip back at the hotel my wife asked the driver to get a cake to surprise me for my Bday, I thought that was a nice touch to end our trip. Thanks Peter for a memorable adventure.

Topdestination with an excellent travel agency

The experience of a lifetime!!
We booked a 7 day safari in Tanzania with Best Day Safaris and it was an unforgettable experience! We visited Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. We also had the opportunity to visit the village of Moshi, at the foot of Kilimanjaro, where we got up close and personal with the traditional coffee production process: an authentic and fascinating experience.
Our safari was made special especially by our guide, Ziggy. His passion, professionalism and attention really made the difference. He tried at all times to show us as many animals and views as possible, always finding the best points to observe them but with great respect for nature and the freedom of the animals themselves. His philosophy of care and love for wildlife and the uncontaminated environment is what made this trip unique. He is a true master at “spotting” animals: thanks to his incredible eye we were able to see many species, including the Big Five.
The organization of Best Day Safaris was impeccable in every detail: from the movements to the lodges/tented camps to the meals, always cared for and abundant. We felt safe and pampered for the duration of the trip.
We highly recommend Best Day Safaris to anyone who dreams of experiencing the magic of Tanzania in an authentic and unforgettable way. And if you can, ask for Ziggy as a guide: she will make the experience even more extraordinary!

A fantastic safari with Bestday Safaris
We just finished a wonderful safari with our super guide Muro. It was an unforgettable experience. Impeccable organization at every moment. They picked us up at the airport and allowed us to settle in and change before starting the safari.
Everything was perfect and a special thanks to the guide Muro who welcomed us and accompanied us on this wonderful safari. With him we felt safe at all times and he made us discover every corner of the Serengeti and NgoroNgoro to see all the animals. I highly recommend the organization of BestDay Safari.

Exceeded our expectations!
We were able to customize our trip through Stephen, who was wonderful to deal with. There were 5 of us, two couples and a single. All from the U.S. We did a seven day tour of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. We asked our guide, Muro, to show us an authentic native village. He found one and we toured it. It was not on our planned schedule but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We could not of have asked for a better guide than Muro. This was the third trip to Africa for our group, and we felt he was the best guide we ever had. There were no river crossings happening for a couple of weeks prior to us arriving. The first day we were out on the Serengeti there were nearly a hundred Landcruisers driving around, following herds of wildebeest hoping for a crossing. Nearly all left by late in the afternoon. We stayed late because we were staying in the nearby Tukaone tent camp. Muro made the right call and we and only 4 other Landcruisers were there when a herd crossed. We drove up to the edge of the Mara river and had a front row seat. Crocodiles took about 5 wildebeest as we watched and filmed. We also twice saw lions mating!
We can't say enough about Muro. He was a very safe driver, and fun to be with. He pulled two other Landcruisers out, and a lot of the other guides would stop him and ask him for advice. He said he has been doing this for 18 years, and it was easy to see the respect the other guides had for him. He was very knowledgable and would point out all the different species. He pointed out over 50 species of birds and animals. We enjoyed having him be a part of our evening meal.
We stayed in the Tukaone tent camp and the Heritage tent camp. Each for 3 days. They were very comfortable, having flushable toilets and showers in every tent. The food was good and everyone in both camps were very pleasant and attentive. Stephen at Bestday took care of having us picked up and dropped off at the airport, and had us stay at the Tulia on our first day in and our last day out. We did not see rhino's, but everyone in our group had seen them before. We also know how difficult it is becoming to see them. Other than that, the trip could not have been better. Thanks again to Stephen and Muro.

Breathtaking safari experience in Tanzania
Unfortunately we couldn't find the big five (maybe a reason to go back?) but the experience couldn't have been more incredible than it was within the short time we had available.
Finding Best Day was not easy but it proved to be the right choice and a suitable partner for all our desires and demands. Thanks to Stephen for all his help in planning the safari and to the guide Muro for his empathy, his patience and world-class persistence in trying to show us the widest variety of animals and untouchable landscapes in the immense world that is the Serengeti. It was a breathtaking experience. For those who go with high expectations, you will leave even more surprised by what the parks offer.
We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro for 5 days and we ended our trip with a few days at the beach in Zanzibar.
