The delta was beautiful! Having the resort on the water meant the wildlife was literally at your doorstep!

Due to the wetland nature of this area, there were different bird species. It was magical to travel by Makoro through narrow channels and to camp on an island. It was the only place on our travels where we were allowed to do a walking safari and it is quite special to follow animal tracks on foot.

Even during a low water time, the mokoro and walking tours are great.

Varies according to time of year and how much water is in the delta. Very scenic

The bush walks in particular were extremely exciting. We also got to take a helicopter ride which was a beautiful way to see how the Delta is situated.

Hippos and elephants - as we were on a walking Safari the other animals were quite far away
