Great place to ride bikes and see beautiful scenery, but there wasn't a density of wildlife. We jut saw zebras and giraffe.

Hell's Gate is a fantastic park, but not for safari. Take a guided tour of the gorge, climb Fischer's Peak, take in the scenery. But if you want a game drive head to nearby Nakuru National Park.

Nice but finally just a gorge. Rangers announced the tour (extra costs)longer than it actually was and offered an extension for even more money. Ommissible.

Getting into the actual park was kind of a hustle between all the forms you have to fill and no easy payment options.

The park have a good natural scenario and some herbivorous easily visible due to the lack of predators, on the other side the park is small and not so spectacular compared to other parks in Kenya.

Went on the walking safari and did not get to a nice advertized spots.
During the walking safari in September be prepared for a hot day. Nice cliffs, not too much animals. Great guide Sophie.

Our guide did not give us enough time there, we had to wait for him in the morning, so we left late.
We did not see enough of the park. Anyway - there were zebras, giraffes and birds - we did not see many, as we went there after Masai Maara.
To hire a bike you need to pay 10 USD extra. I would say you can skip it.

Opt for a cycling tour. Can be skipped if doing Nakuru/Mara, as the gorges are closed.

Hell's gate is great, but not the right thing if you are looking for a "traditional safari". You should add it in a tour while visiting other parks.
